It's okay. Do you have a list of boys' and girls' names? Did you already plan your child's/childs' room? If so, then it's not such a big deal if a boy likes pink or a girl likes blue. It won't make him or her gay or lesbian or anything. I'm no fan of babies, really, but they're really into bright colors and simple shapes. Err...maybe not so bright. But I think pastel is kinda played out.

And besides, fat girls are fertile girls.

You could be like me, and like cross-gender names 3nodding

Actually, I only like using guy-sounding names on girls and unusual names on either.

Like Dylan for a girl, soooooo cute whee And Tyler heart

I like weird-a** names for guys.

But I'm sorry, but at least it's a surprise! Some people would rather not know! Or you could find one of those miracle people that can look at you and tell the gender 3nodding

I don't know your name, but if it's any common/semi common name then I probably think it is ftw as a girl's name.

Now a guy named Sadie would be creepy.

I'd be freaked out by a girl name Tyler too.

I've met two different girls in my lifetime that shared my name (Ryan) confused

I don't get what's freaky about a girl named Tyler sweatdrop

My boyfriend's middle name is Tyler and his family calls him that, although everybody else calls him Rob... so I might not name any possible future daughter Tyler if his family objects, but he personally doesn't mind it at all.

But I feel sorry for people with common names, so I could never name my kid something common... unless it was a common/semi-common boys name for a girl. Like James, Alex, Johnnie, Tyler, Dylan, Christopher, Reagan and Reese (I have met guys named both of the last two, though I consider them more typical girls names).

For boys I like names like Vader (my great, great grandfather was named Vader Quincy, but I'm not naming any child Vader for their own sake), Ander and Kenton.

I also have a friend with the middle name Rae, and I absolutely loooooove it. But I'll probably name a girl that if anything.

And I've never thought of Shane as a name for a girl, I've got a friend named Shane. It is cute, though whee

well, now it can be a surprise baby ^^
my parents never wanted to know the sex of their babies before hand, and when i found out you can figure it out, i was amazed, ha.

yellow has always been a good uni-gender baby color. just be prepared to have it changed later on in the kids life

you just gotta be careful while buying those few little items, and make 'em as unigendered as possible

It's best that you at least wait until the little blugger comes out of your v****a before you start imposing roles on it. >.<

Dinosaurs and Pooh-bear are the best canidates for decorational themes. Avoid anything with clowns at all costs. As a parenting experiment, see what happenes if you forgo the traditional spring colors for black striped with fireball fuschia. 3nodding

Don't think of it as fat, then. Think of it as 'baby packaging material'. Like packing peanuts. biggrin *hugs* It'll be okay, hon.
