Sci-Fi Channel North America announced Yesterday that they are starting their own anime block. Starting June 11 Ani-Mondays will play anime starting at 11:00pm EST.
They will start this block off with the never before seen on American Tv Anime Movie:
Ghost in the Shell: Solid State Society.
I know this doesn't belong here but I thought it was important enough to make an exception.

well we obviously dont have an announcements subforum, so yeah, this is big news for us! It means that they might play Eureka Seven on Sci-Fi!!

Steeveeo well we obviously dont have an announcements subforum, so yeah, this is big news for us! It means that they might play Eureka Seven on Sci-Fi!! Announcmentized! (unless one of the other mods disagrees) Wow thanks. I kinda forgot something important the schedule... so here it is: Normal anime block: 11:00 Noein 11:30 Tokko 12:00 Macross Pluss Movies confirmed to be played this year: Ninja Scroll Blood: The Last Vampire Read or Die BlackJack Animes confirmed to be played: Street Fighter ll V I'll post one of the links to the announcement once I get it. mrgreen

Oooh, cool! TOKKO! biggrin I read the first volume of the manga for that and it's pretty cool. razz Noein I've heard good things about, but I never ended up watching it. Woo, Blood: The Last Vampire, too! xd Go Sci-Fi!
On another topic... does anyone know if G4 stopped their Anime Unleashed show? They've made a lot of changes to their programming recently (trying to make it more of a "guys' network" and not a games network rolleyes ), so I don't know if they took that off. They showed Gungrave a while ago, which was awesome. razz

Tokko is a show about this really wussy cadet guy who ends up getting involved with this girl who kills these zombie things with a sword and stuff. And it... sounds a lot crappier when describing it. razz

Damn!! Sci-Fi channel sucks!! I can't stay up that late!! gonk Well... at least it's starting June 11 and I'll be on summer break by then. Yay!! biggrin I wanna see Blood: The Last Vampire. If anyone couldn't tell, Blood+ is actually based off of it.
Hmm.. I don't know any of those shows, though. neutral But that Tokko thing seems kind of interesting. razz Ooh!! BLACKJACK!! ME WANT WATCH!! I've seen the series and it's so cool!! biggrin *sniff* WAAH, SUKIKO!! Why'd you have to die!!! gonk
