Aw, man, everywhere I go it's Molly, Jordan, Aikka... Don't get me wrong, I like 'em too, they're great characters (so please put away the hayforks and torches, I'm not into BBQ wink ), but I thought I'd start this thread about Rick Thunderbolt, Earth's -probably- best racer, and later Molly's mentor. I think he's a great guy who deserves a little more credit. He takes care about the people he, er, cares about, and he's not afraid to take matters into his own hands. Also, he's probably the smartest guy around, after all, he was the first to figure out that Molly=Don Wei's daughter. A little cynical, a little bitter, a little rough, but still a great guy. So, thoughts, opinions, (flaming? Put that knife away, Sheba! What're you... Aaaaahh...!), random outbursts of happiness? Maybe even some pictures?

*looks up innocently* But it's so shiny...and sharp!! o3o <3
*hides weaponry behind back*
... Where was I... Oh! yes! *ahem* I love Rick!! I'm actually surprised that Aki Yasu-chan hasn't made a post such as this already...Then again, I'm kind of not, because Aki Yasu-chan has more of a life than Sheba does. ToT I was probably going to get around to making a Rick post sooner or later if she didn't, but I'm gald that others are taking the chance to post as well^^ But, yes, I loved Rick from the beginning, which for me was episode 5, where he loses his ability to race ._. ;.; Even back then, seeing him cry was just heartbreaking... Yeah, his character is a great one, he's really like the big brother type to Eva, aside from being her(totally awesome) racing coach ^^ At first in the show you might think he's kind of rough and a bit vain(which is a bit true, but bear with me!) but he really does care for the others, specially Eva. I love his cynicism, too, it's hilarious XD <3
Ooh, Rick piccys, maybe I should draw one...O.o <3
I was gonna respond to this earlier, but my computer really doesn't like me and kicked me off internet...Again. *-* *whips out her knife again and stares at her computer with murderous intent*

Well Rick is a great rival/later mentor and friend/father figure(anyone find that weird? XD) for Molly... and when he lost his ability to race I was just @~@... that was one of the sadest things in the whole show crying I dunno what he did after and I dunno if he's gonna be in next series(I hope he is) but if he somehow gets back to racing(maybe coaching) then I'm happy blaugh RICK FTW!

Him being a little vain is, like, the understatement of the year... And piccys sound great, you should try it 3nodding And actually, I was maybe expecting a single reply within a week or so... And try to be gentle, computers are like women: you need to stroke them, not hit them.

Kino D try to be gentle, computers are like women: you need to stroke them, not hit them. You and I are obviously not meeting the same women, where do you meet yours?
