So, I think the title says it all, I want false cognates.
I'm not looking for minor differences, but for really funny ones with the potential to cause great misunderstanding, or at least get some very funny looks.
Examples-
Mist-
(English) to rain in very fine drops; drizzle
(German) manure or crap
Gift-
(English) something given; a present
(German) poison
