The big blue alpha trotted slowly and comfortably over his lands. His lands. That really did sound nice. Alexander’s ears twitched to and fro, listening to the sounds of the forest. He was always on the lookout for intruders, and he really just like keeping an eye (or an ear) on the comings and goings of the pack lands. After all, there were many things that could happen and a lot of… weird wolves out there; it was best to be prepared.
Alexander’s tail curled dominantly over his back as he trotted proudly. His talk with Bindi had really helped. That little sunny wolf could really cheer one up! He had had his doubts about the pack, but now he knew he was ready. He was ready to be the leader he had always wanted and dreamed of being. Being fair, strong, and kind were all things Alexander held important. He knew that packs could go horribly wrong, but he wouldn’t allow that to happen to this one. Alexander knew all the wolves in it so far, and he was very fond of them all. He snorted. The alpha knew he would do his best to protect all of them. He felt ready for anything.
Soon, the big ex-bear den came into view. The entrance was set underneath a large rock outcropping. Alexander liked this feature. The rock was a perfect place to lay when watching over the den. He dropped his nose to the ground and sniffed around. No intruders had passed through here. Satisfied, he stood tall, making sure to keep still, and he listened. It didn’t seem like there were unwanted ears about. Good. Alexander’s mouth dropped open, tongue hanging out. This seemed like the perfect time and place to call the pack together for the first time.
Alexander walked around to the back of the rock. He quickly climbed on top and sniffed lightly. Yes, this was good. Without a moment’s thought, he tipped his head back and let out a loud, carrying howl. The howl was not full of sadness like many of his had been in the past, but instead full of a new energy and excitement. Alexander paused for a moment before letting another howl escape his lips. He called the pack to him and hoped they would come.

The purple male had stuck close to the packlands, proud to say this was his new home. He'd made it a habit to circle the borders, investigating incoming scents, all the while investigating outgoing smells too. It gave him something to do during the down time, and though occassionally he wandered outside of the territory, the purple one much preferred to stick close to the lands.
Wandering had its perks, which was a given, but Kekarn liked the idea of being home. This was his new home, these lands, and he would do his best to protect and care for it. Alexander was his alpha, and he would do what he could to protect him. Even if it was nothing but a simple act of double checking borders, Kekarn wanted to keep them safe.
This afternoon was no exception. He'd only just met Alexander a wee bit ago, but deep in his heart the purple male knew he'd done right. It was amazing how quickly life could change, could flip upside down in an instant. Once he was a wandering loner, with no real place to go, no real purpose in life. Now, today, he was part of a small (but growing) pack, one where he could live comfortably however he may choose. The overwhelming anxiety and fear had been lifted from his life and all was good.
Occassionally, his mind drifted back to his red and white friend. Part of Kekarn wished to see the amicable male again, to let him know of his good luck and fortune, and hope upon hope that he too was doing well. Despite Deimos' promise to meet again, Kekarn still harbored doubts. It wouldn't be the first time a friend slipped quietly away.
What was funny still, Kekarn occassionally caught a trail scent of the wolf. Did he really miss his friend that much, imagining such scents? Or perhaps the red and white male had been by this way . . . it would figure Kekarn might have missed him.
Any and all contemplation was broken when a lone call broke through the woods. Cream-tipped ears swiveled and focused on the call, hearing the sound which summoned all his wolves. Withotut hesitation, Kekarn threw his head back and howled a short, ecstatic greeting, letting Alexander know his position. He'd be there as fast as his paws would take him!
Borders forgotten, a new destination in mind, Kekarn turned and trotted lazily back to the heart of packlands. It took him a wee bit longer than one might imagine, but the large male was never in any sort of rush. So, when he pushed his way through to the ex-bear den, he wuffed softly at Alexander, admiring the scene.
The navy and black male had seemed to have grown up. Though they parted ways, Alexander looked like the epitome of an alpha - strong, confident, content. Kekarn's bushy tail swayed happily behind him as he approached, body language relaxed while his cool eyes sparkling with delight.
((I don't know if it's possible to approach Alexander form where he stands, because he would! One wants to greet their alpha properly, but . . . not sure where he's standing on a rock and how much room is there. *goes to re-read den information* x3~! ))

No matter what he did, the huge male always managed to get distracted by something, which inevitably took him outside of the pack lands. His keen nose just picked up on far too many delectable scents, or the wandering trail of a loner passing through. In the case of the latter, he would immediately follow the scent and make sure that the stranger had left his home, and that his pack was safe.
Aside from that, thoughts of Moirai plagued him daily, and robbed him of sleep. Yes, he feared for himself, but he feared for his pack more. Just by being in the same area as them, he was endangering them. What if Moirai didn't come back alone? What if she brought a fighting force? He couldn't risk any of his new family getting hurt. If she did return . . .
Deimos would leave. The fiery alpha would not have them hurt because of his sister's insanity and blood lust.
A sudden, powerful howl reached his ears and he paused, tail high, ears pricked towards the sound. Alexander was calling everyone home.
Snorting the newest scent from his nose, he turned and loped back the way he had come, his destination the bear den. He knew he had traveled far, but it didn't take any time at all for the familiar scent of Alexander to reach his nose, and once he caught his best friend's smell, everything else was forgotten.
He burst through the trees, the back of the den suddenly under his paws. The big male was at the top of the rock in an instant, barreling into Alexander with puppy-like giddiness, licking and wuffling and ear biting.

(( I hadn't mentioned it in the description, Uta. nn;;; But I just updated it and added that part. :3
On that note, if anyone would like to draw a map of the packlands, that'd be verycool because I have no art skills. xD; ))

Caleba had been in and out of the lands for just a few moons now. He was like a moth to the flame, as he always went back. He was a wandering spirit and whereever his paws wanted to roam then that is where the lone treaded. However, his life was slightly altered by the pack. And how good did that feel. He'd been lost for so very long. Without friends or family or even a mere shadow of another in the distance. But now he didn't just have his own echo to talk to. He had a whole pack. Oh, and that word alone was like music to his ears. He trusted Alexander, he would make a fine leader, Caleb just knew it. And these lands were rich and plentiful. Life here would be good, the male knew it in every bone of his body.
So when he heard his alpha's call, Caleb stopped exactly what he was doing; which was merely drinking water from a nearby small stream. He did not want to seem too eager, but the fact remained that he was, infact, very eager. Alexander had told him this moment would be coming and Caleb was waiting on pins and needles for it to happen. What would the others be like? What would their stories hail? And what of the other alpha, what was his tale? So many questions raced through Calebs mind as he moved swiftly through the woods to get pack to the land he knew so well.
Finally when he approached the great rocks and saw the familiar large blue figure his maw broke out into a smile.

The oddly colored flame male was off doing his own thing. The likes of what usally consisted of preening his blackish pelt and making each fur stand out dynamically. He wasn't an alpha- but he was a pretty boy, and rather vein if you had to take a survey on Axel's personality. Not that it didn't make him a good friend or ally it just made him rather obnious.
It was then that the gammas ears pricked up and heard the call of his friend Alex. A-L-E-X is callin' should go back and be the life of the party! His maw quickly split into a troublesome smile as his paws started to move from under him first slow; then Axel-overconfident swagger. He was no beta, but god he was the coolest thing to grace the planet.
He was almost near the lands when the sight of his reflexion in a nearby pond caught his attention.
"Whos a handsome boy?"
He seamed to coo to himself momentarily forgeting why he had been traveling in this direction in the first place.

The large alpha spun a few excited circles as he waited. He wondered who would answer his call. Elated at the thought of his pack coming together for the first time, Alexander let out a few low yips. Ears swiveled all about, listening for signs of wolves approaching. Wouldn’t it be just terrible if no one showed up? Well, yes, but he knew at least someone would come. Besides, hadn’t he asked that they all stay near the lands? Hopefully his voice carried far enough…
Just as Alexander’s tail was beginning to droop with doubt, he heard an answering howl! Unsure of exactly who the voice belonged to, the blue male waited on the tips of his paws, ears pricked forward in the direction of the sound. Then, his waiting paid off as a large purple wolf came into view, greeting him politely.
“Kekarn!” Alexander said, tail wagging furiously as his fist pack mate came into view. He was just about to climb down when a large, speeding ball of red and white hit him hard. Knocked to the ground, Alexander was now being greeted in an extremely friendly manner. Before even having to open his eyes or match the scent with a name, Alexander knew who it was.
“Dei~!” He yelled, kicking with his hind legs and trying to stand once more. “You giant puppy, let me breathe!” Alexander pleaded, licking and nipping at the other male’s muzzle. He managed to turn over onto his stomach just in time to see Caleb emerge into the den clearing. Blue and black tail wagged like never before as Alexander’s maw hung open, tongue lolling out. He woofed a greeting to Caleb.
“Uh, feel free to introduce yourselves and get to know everyone!” Alexander managed to say from under Deimos. Kekarn, Deimos, Caleb… but where was Axel?

Kekarn's tail wagged as the navy blue male greeted him! The violet male didn't want to get in Alexander's way, especially standing as tall and proud as he was on the rock. That was his alpha's lookout and it was only right he allow his friend such a place.
Grape-stained tail swept faster behind him as he grinned up at Alexander. He really did look like everything an alpha needed to be. Dipping down on his front paws, the male felt excitement grow. Cream tipped ears swiveled back and forth as he tried to hear any approaching members. . . . they all would come, wouldn't they?
What would his new family be like?
About to greet the navy blue wolf, Kekarn stared as Alexander took a spill. Something red, white, and black had tackeled the wolf, and instead of snarling and fighting, there was laughter! Kekarn, still partially dipped, couldn't help but stare at the scene upon the rock.
A flash of fur, a flash of a name. Dei. . . .? Wait a minute, wait. a. minute. From his vantage point on the ground, it was difficult to see exactly what was gobbling Alexander up. A wolf, yes, a wolf with colours that were very reminiscent to -
"Deimos. . . ."
Kekarn dropped to his belly, hardly realizing the pale form of Caleb had appeared. Shock and surprise dripped off the large, easy-going male, any words of excitement and joy lost.
That . . . that really was his friend, wasn't it?
And then it hit him like a ton of bricks. Hadn't Deimos talked about starting a pack with his best of friends? And wasn't his best-of-friend a male too? Hadn't Alexander told him about the alpha-male run pack? It was obvious both Deimos and Alex were males too! How could Kek have been so stupid? How could he have not placed two and two together?
The vague scents of Deimos, it hadn't been an over active imagination, it truly had been him!
Stunned speechless, the violet wolf didn't know how to react. He'd only met Deimos a time before, so he wasn't exactly as tight with him as Alexander and he appeared to be. Besides which, it appeared as if the two friends were bonding, and Kekarn refused to interrupt.
Surprise giving way to an inward joy, the violet male forced himself to look away. Maybe Deimos wouldn't even remember him. . . . To many, a romp in the woods and a few bruises were far from memorable. Green-blue eyes danced before landing on the pale form of Caleb.
Pushing himself back to his feet, the easy going wolf tried his best to find the right words to say. Hello seemed pretty lame in his book, but saying nothing seemed even lamer. Violet tail wagging letharigcally behind him, he ducked his head at the cream furred wolf. Bridging the distance between them, he reached out his neck and sniffed delicately at the new wolf, commiting his scent to memory. "I'm . . . I'm Kekarn?" He didn't mean to introduce himself as a question, but excitement (and anxious surprise and delight) was tearing Kekarn in two.
He didn't doubt Alexander had good judgement when it came to pack wolves. . . .
But they consisted of loners, did they not? Still distracted by Deimos on the rock, the black striped wolf reminded him he could better greet his other Alpha all in due time. It wasn't as if the pack was disbanding anytime soon. With Deimos leading the pack, it was guarenteed he'd meet his friend again.

Laughing, Deimos gave his best friend one last lick before rolling off the navy male and onto his feet. Something inside of him had eased at the sight of his alpha, and, finally relaxed for the first time in days, the red and white wolf stopped to look around, tongue lolling, ears and tail erect. He spotted Caleb first, the wolf's pale fur grabbing his attention, the smile curling his jaws making Deimos all the more proud of Ander.
But when his eyes rested on the giant purple fluff ball in the middle of the clearing, Deimos nearly fell off the rock. It took less than a second for the name to travel from his brain to his tongue, and he shouted the word in pure joy as he took a flying leap off of the rock, landing on lithe paws and bounding towards his friend.
"Kekarn!!!" What was he doing here? Had the Fates worked so in Deimos' favor that the purple male was part of his pack? His family?
Rearing in front of Kek, he threw his front legs over the other male, licking every inch of his face. "See? I told you we'd see each other again. I told you!" Blue eyes bright with happiness, Deimos grinned until his face hurt.

Man I'm pretty.
He cooed at himself again, his mind eternially wandering. What was he supposed to be doing? He knew there was something other then himself that he was supposed to be preocupied with.
His hair? No, No, No, No that wasn't it? His fur? Well not that he didn't want to groom himself more- but that definatly wasn't why he was traveling in this direction.
Wait...didn't Alex say something about following his nose- WAIT. ALEX! Yes that was why he was traveling this way. He had heard Alex.
Closing his eyes as to not look at his own refection and again possible forget his pack. Then turned quickly away from the water and lifted his head to the sky. With a confident bellow he seamed to shout out to his blue friend.
"Sorry about the delay A-L-E-X. Me and my irrestible charm will be there soon! So don't start the party without me! A-X-E-L..."

((I'm assuming the post order changed since Soarin skipped me, or are we keeping it the same?))
Caleb continued to pad until he had reached both wolves, yet still stayed away enough to show them both the proper respect. He assumed the bigger male was the other alpha and he was pleased to see that he was right. He tried hard not to show a judgmental eye, but as nature was he eyed every wolf here, each in their own right. All except for Alexander of course; he already knew how great this wolve's worth was.
He chuckled at the purple male, "Are you? Well this is good. My name is Caleb."
He then turned to the two alpha's and dipped his head, "It will be a pleasure to serve you, my brothers."

((Ack! Forgive me friends for the delay~! ;_; *kicks crappy repeated post*))
Tail wagging behind him, Kekarn studied Caleb, pleased to have a name. The pale wolf seemed a respectible nature and must be so considering Alexander had introduced him to the pack. All of these wolves surrounding him were his new family. . . .
Family.
How long had he been without one? How long had he broken away from his birth pack to find his lot in life?
Too long it seemed. . . days turned in to weeks, in to months, in to years. Oh, may everything work out with this pack. Deep in his heart though, the violet hued male understood it to be true. Alexander was too great a wolf and to see Deimos in the pack. . . .
well. . . . for sure Kekarn wouldn't be leaving anytime soon.
"Tis a pleasu---" Words were cut off as the large male suddenly found a bounding red and black wolf slobbering all over his face. Ears dipping back from surprise, Kekarn was shocked to see his playful friends so. . . . .so playful! For some reason Kekarn held reservations that upon being ranked an alpha he may lose his true colours. . .
But no, the wild (and wet) greeting was well received!
Licking back, ears still slightly back out of submission, Kekarn whined happily in his throat. He chewed on his friends cheek ruff, nuzzling his friend affectionately.
eyes gleaming, laughter in his throat, the large grape wolf managed some sort of an explaination. "I met Alexander a few days after you left. . . Things just kind of worked out but I never would have guessed YOU'D be here~!" The latter half of the statement was said in joy. . .
Kekarn couldn't have asked for more, not really. A friend who was now family - life sure had a funny way of working things out, didn't they? His two dear friends now entrusted as his alpha's. . . .
Ah, but wasn't life grand?
Two friends he could find forever.
