It is a beautiful spring day. The sun is high in the cornflower blue skies with pure white puffy clouds lazily floating by. The breeze will come along occasionally to tease the creatures and the plants. The tall grass near the creek suddenly splits open, revealing a female silver tortoiseshell ulaya with a tan strip down her chin and a tannish circle around her left eye.
The silver tortie shell female ulaya walks along the creek in sheer boredom, she managed to break away from her clan leaders whom made it clear that she will be watched closely. "Stupid tigers..." She mutters as she kicks the pebble and it went skittering into the water.
"stupid water..." She frowns as she turns her head toward a delicious looking rabbit that is on other side of the wide creek. "If I could... I would get you." She vows silently as her hungry eyes continues to watch the rabbit whom is obviously taunting her by staying near the waterline. Looking determined, Pepper's paws disappears in the water as she tentatively moves into the creek so she could get to the rabbit but a disgusted shudder shook her body when the water touches her. "Ugh.."

 The sun blazed through a tree on the the back of a rather strange Ulaya. Orange and white, yet his tail was very unusual. It was long and spotted just like the rest of his body. It hung loosely from the tree branch that he slept on. He normally wasn't up at day time.
Though, the sun was getting rather warm on the leopard ulaya's back, the hit of light breeze made it worth just not moving at all. The bit of shade that was already on him was nice enough.
Soon, he was very rudely waken by the voice of a female. His ears twitched as he listened to her complain about water. He hadn't rain into a female in awhile. His head lifted up and looked towards where the voice was. SHe had been making her way towards a rabbit.
He grinned as she said she wanted the rabbit. It was always amusing to him to watch failor. He couldn't help but laugh at the other Ulaya as she entered the water. She was going about it all wrong. The rabbit would get away before she could even get close. Oh, this was great. The rabbit looked as if not too worried about the female as she tried to make her way towards it.
He jumped down on the soft dirt below. "You'll never get close to it." He said with ease and slight boredom. If it were him, he'd already have the rabbit. Though, he wasn't hungery. He also didn't want to show the female. It was more fun watching her try to get it.

Pepper stiffens up as she hears a male voice and she makes a low growling noise deep in her throat. She turns around and her greenish gold eyes narrows to slits. "And who is asking for your opinions? I know I certainly did not." She says in scathing voice as she turns around but to her frustration, the rabbit was already long gone.
"You just cost me my meal." The female grumbles as she slowly and painstakingly makes her way to the shore since she was halfway in the creek when the jaguar decided to make his appearance. "And I had to go in the WATER." She narrows her eyes once again as her tail twitches slightly.
"I hope you are going to get me another rabbit or something along that line because I am hungry and I have been hunting for some time now" Pepper slants her eyes toward the jaguar male warily. Her eyes rests upon his tail enviously as she always dreams about having a tail like that but attached to her own rump.

He chuckled rather uncaringly. "Actually, you allowed it to get away the moment you stept into the water, Puppet." He said with out even looking at her. His peridot eyes were on a small dust of dirt on his paw he decided to look at. His attention was only half there.
"What does it matter on who gives there opinion? You can either listen to it, or ignore it, for it's my opinion." He said again. He wasn't always much for talking, but this could get interesting. The female already seemed upset, which made Thona grin rather evilly.
"Why would I get your meal? I'm not your mate. I have no intentions of helping you." He finally looked into her eyes with his. "It's not my problem your hungry. Like I said before, you were the one that lost your meal the moment you stept in the water."
He walked slowly along the bank of the creek back and forth. Hadn't she known that she could have gotten across the creek a few yards ahead. The rabbit wouldn't have noticed her. Yet, she didn't think like that. She wasn't a hunter. Or at least she didn't look like one, and if she was, she was only a rookie.

"Well my name is not puppet, jerk and I would refrain from talking to me if I was you." Pepper says as she plunks down on her rump then she proceeds in drying herself off with her tongue. She is a hunter but she didn't feel like sneaking around so she could get a small morsel while she could take down something slightly bigger than rabbit with an outright chase.
"Who said you have to be my mate to get me my meal, YOU scared it off by jumping down from the tree. The rabbit wasn't even paying attention to me." She retorted once again as she looks at the jaguar, immediately disliking the male. Pepper stands up and shakes her legs, sending the water droplets flying all over the place. "Stupid male.." She mutters to herself as she moves toward the jaguar. "If you have no intention of helping me then why did you come down here in the first place?"

He grinned even more. "Oh, your so frightening. No seriously, I'm shaking." He slowly edged closer to her. This could be lots of fun, yes. He was enjoying this very much. He could see that she was very irritated with him. His grin continued.
"Oh, and when you were to start coming out of the water, and scare it away. Who would you blaime then? The rocks?" He held in his laugh. "You are rather pathetic to think I would ever get you something."
"I just happen to like to watch failor in the works. Plus, you wouldn't believe you couldn't get that rabbit, even if it bit you in the a**." This time he couldn't help but let out a little chuckle. It was too hard not to. His tail mored slowly back and forth. His paws made almost little sound as he walked slowly towards the other.
His claws were out just slightly like they normally where. it made it easy for him to ran fast if he needed. If she happened to want to escape, he couldn't allow that. Not until he was done, at least.

"Sarcasm doesn't look beautiful on you, sweetheart" Pepper sarcastically says as she watches Thona's grin becoming more wider. Her eyes narrows to slits as she watches him more. "I CAN make you get me my meal because I know how to fight and I know how to hand your a** back to you on the silver plate.."
Her claws is out as they are kneading against the soft ground, it was obvious to everybody that she is ready to fight. "Failor?.. Here is pot. kettle. You are black." She retorted as she forces herself to look relaxed as she moves around in a small circle around Thona. "I bet you can't catch a small fawn." She says in low and taunting manner while a chesire grin appears on her face.
It was obvious that Pepper is not going to flee because she is more interested in playing a game with Thona and she will play and win.

This time Thona couldn't hold back his laugh. As soon as it came out, it was gone. His pupils were rather big, much like a cat watching a string, or a small mouse. "I'm sure you couldn't make me do anything. Even if you were, somehow, able to give my a** handed to me on a silver plater, I still wouldn't do it." He paused. "You see, I only take orders from myself."
"By the way, I'm not trying to look beautiful." He watched her every move as he slowly edged closer. He was pushing her as much as he can. There was always a braking point in everyone. "Oh, I can catch more then a small fawn. But I like to torture the small thing better then it's mother. Watch it squeal in pain as I slowly cut it up with my teeth and claws." He said truthfully. His eyes were glazed with passion of killing. It was his life, all he knew.
"But I would rather you think I wouldn't be able to do that. It makes the game more fun." He said simply. His tail was now still but half way up.

Pepper rolls her eyes as she could see that he is a jerk who thinks he can only take orders from himself. And that is going to change because Pepper is not going to take any lip from Thona. The female's ears pins back as she hears his laughter and she crouches to the ground, looking like she is going to pounce on Thona.
"Why don't you prove it to me? There is a fawn nearby with its mother grazing in the meadows." The female says in soft and taunting manner as she continues to circle around Thona, keeping her back away from the jaugar. She have no doubt in her mind that he can kill her if he wants to and a soft warning growl escapes her throat. Her small pointy fangs gleams in the sunlight as she bares them at him.
Her small tail whiplashes angrily as Pepper continues to watch Thona with disgusted expression on her face.

He stopped watching her for a moment, hoping she might make the mistake of pouncing on him. Of course he had to be a gentlemen, well as mush as one as he could be, and not do anything until she did something first. "Oh, I bet you'd like that wouldn't you? Or would you be like every other female and not want me to kill it very slow. Or perhaps you'll make it rather difficualt for me by scaring them. Though, mind you, I'm a very good tracker and would catch up to them. But that leaves me to one small thing... I have no reason to prove anything to you." He said as stopped.
He sat down and let her circle him. His eyes were now closed and his grin was still there. "Now, with no further chit-chat, give me one good reason why I should prove anything to you at all." he paused. "To me, you are nothing but another toy that I'm slowly getting bored with."

Pepper looks at Thona with a droll expression on her face. "You are too quick to judge, my dear." Pepper says as she yawns, padding toward the tree with her claws clicking away on the rocks. "Typical male... making judgments before getting to know a ulaya." She says, not caring if Thona hears her or not. She rolls her eyes in amusement as she stretches her body out while digging her claws in the tree's trunk.
"There is no good reasons why you should prove yourself to me. I doubt we will see each other again." Pepper says as she turns around and leans against the trunk, watching Thona with a slight grin on her face. "Be bored with me all you want, you belligerent moronic male but I am not here to appease you." She retorted to his last comment with venom.

His eyes opened lazily. His tail was now wrapped around his feet, so she didn't dare to pounce. Smart. He snorted at her as he looked over towards her. " I really don't care to know you. As you've already noticed, I haven't asked yoru name. Nor would I want to hear it." He said simily. He stood up and started to walk away.
If she wanted to see him torture something, why not? It would be his pleasure. His grin became more demonic. "If you truely wish to hear a fawn cry for it's life as I drain it's blood out slowly, it'd be my pleasure. Not for you, but for the thrill of hearing the creature scream." He said as he turned his head just slightly to where he could see her out of the corner of his eyes.
"Though, I do ask you to be quiet, and not to do anything stupid. Unless, you want to take the place of the fawn." He paused. "If you think I won't do it, please test me and find out."
He smelled the ground and then the air. Thankfully the breeze was on his side. He could smell it. His eyes closed as he took in the smell of deer. So she wasn't lying. She had no reason to, she was hungry after all. Perhaps she was just trying to trick him to get her something to eat. Though, the thought of torturing something so innocent would make up for that.
His eyes opened quickly and he started moving quietly into the wooded area. He hide well, if they didn't know what they were looking for. Though, his spots and orange coat that he had, it blended with the ground rather nicely. Well, at least nicely enough that the deers wouldn't second guess themselves.

"I made no mention of letting you know who I am. You haven't proven yourself to be worthy enough to know my name or even get to know me." Pepper says haughtily as she rolls her eyes like a typical female cat. But her curiousity got the best of her as she sees Thona walking away so she got up and followed him silently.
Corner of her muzzle twitches as she could sense the threat in the comment Thona just made as Pepper narrows her eyes defiantly. "I so would love to see you try to take my life, buster." She retorted but again, her conscience warned her not to say anything to provoke him because he is definitely more bigger than her.
The femme follows the jaguar and he scuttles up the tree then promptly hides herself in the shadows and the only thing onlooker will see is the glint in Pepper's eyes. She moves to the branch above the fawn and daintily sits down with her paws crossed together in front of her. She might be fiesty or a b***h but that doesn't mean she can act like a queen or a dainty female.

He ignored her last comment, he didn't want to say anything now. Too close to his target. The key thing was to get the fawn while the mother runs for her life. It was simple. Very simple. He'd done this a milion times.
He was crouched down now, ready to pounce at the fawn as it suckled from it's mother's milking nipples. His ears were back, and his tail was in perfect formation. Everything was going to go perfect, unless the female ulaya had other plans.
He waited a bit longer, just incase something might change. He could wait there all day if he had to. His eyes were as big as they could get. He was completely still.

Pepper takes advantage of Thona's not paying attention to her to admire his skills and appearance. She smiles indulgently as she shakes her head. She wasn't surprised that a handsome male like him will be arrogant jerk who thinks he is so badass that he could do anything he want. The mere thought of that made her snort to herself desirively as she shakes her head.
This is one of the moments where she ALMOST feels sorry for the foal but her hunger overcame that sensation as she waits patiently for Thona to attack, and kill the foal so she could come down and feast on it. Her tail swishes slightly as she watches Thona boredly.
