*coughs and looks around*
I'm just now starting into the whole cosplay deal, but I thought a thread would be nice for it. I know some of you have questions, as do I. And some of you can share you're insights and answer questions.
Also, any Sailor Moon Cosplay pictures of yourself or friends would be much welcomed, and any tips you can think of that might make the experience a bit easier on us n00bs.
I don't think there was one of these, knowing my luck it's probably a sticky XD
If so, please feel free to delete, but I think we could all benefit from it if there are enough of us Cosplaying biggrin

I don't have any pictures, because I've never cosplayed, unles you count the royal form of a character I created.
I just wanted to elongate my response to the poll. I chose Super because the sleeves make it look like the most challenging to make, and it's the most beautiful form if you get it right. Like a fairy or something. Normal form is dull, and Eternal form has horrid puff-ball sleeves @_@

I haven't cosplayed... yet! O.O
But I want to really, really, really bad; however, I wouldn't cosplay as a character from the series.
I plan on, once I make the costume, to go as my original scout.
It may be more difficult because of the wings, but I'll manage.
Also, if you're looking for a good example of a fan made costume... I have one of Neptune at my house, so I'll post it up later.

I've seen some really good ones here lately.

It's amazing! eek heart That would be awesome. I'm currently thinking about making mind or paying someone to make mine... kinda hesitant to that as last time I paid someone, when i got the costume it was not very well done AND she didn't give me everything I ordered.

They're more from models then fans, but it's one of the best costumes I've seen.
You'll notice that alot of fan made costumes are kind of poofy and what not.
This is a great example of the form-fitting uniforms seen in Sailor Moon. whee
It's also a great example of a wig. ^o^

It's also a great example of a wig. ^o^Image Image Holy crap eek That's one of the best cosplay I've ever seen! I myself never cosplayed, and I don't have the time or talent too, but if I let my roots grow back in I'd probably cosplay as Saturn. Besides looking like her, she's my fave senshi.

It's also a great example of a wig. ^o^*snip* After seeing that, there is no way in hell I'm putting up a picture me and my own Neptune costume...I have a costume of regular Neptune that I made a year ago and upgraded again for this year, and even if it isn't nearly as awesome as that one, I'm proud of it biggrin I'd like to cos as a villian one of these days though, like one of the Animates, especially if other people dressed up as them with me. I'd love to be half 'n half Tin Nyako!

I used to have a picture with her leaning with a Uranus model, too, who looked just as good.
The day I saw those pictures... my jaw dropped. x_X I want teh shoes!

Eee, cosplay. It looks like so much fun, but I can't afford costumes, or even find them for that matter. But dressing up as Eternal Sailormoon would be so cool. And I look almost exactly like Mako-chan, so I could pull off a Sailor Jupiter cosplay easy. I'm even the same height as she is.

I've cosplayed before...as Princess Serenity. Sadly I cannot sew so I had to have the costume made, the seamtress who did it didn't do a insanely good job, but she did the dress based off the doll. (Yes I had to let her borrow my Serenity doll! gonk ) Anyway, it wasn't as pretty as I hoped...nor did I have a wig. xp So I actually had to have my hair done up in the odangos. xd I have to say it's quite fun running around with that hairstyle. 4laugh Anyway, I'm actually hoping to order an eternal outfit (Sailor Uranus) Hopefully I can get it before March. (That's when the con is over here.) So...well, my first cosplay was not as fancy as I wanted it to be but maybe next time I'll get my way, and if not, guess it's time to learn how to do some sewing. >_<

Well, I'd probably like to cosplay as our very own Tuxedo Kamen.... Seeing as I am *male* whee I would probably be stared at, as much as I was in Japan while at the public baths, if I cosplayed as Sailor Moon. sweatdrop (but if I did and I was a female, I'd probably do her Princess one from PGSM. I love it!)
