So, the eighth grade class at my school goes to Washington, DC for the class trip for a week at the end of the year. We left Monday evening and got back this (Saturday) morning. Every day we were doing things almost every minute. Our slowest day we were probably doing at least three things...
While in DC, we of course went to a bunch of famous landmarks and memorials, went to Gettysburg on the way there and Mount Vernon the last day we were up around Virginia/DC area... And we were doing so much stuff that if you even got a chance to go to a souvenier shop, we were leaving before you could much more than glance most of the time >.>
And guess what happened that was uber exciting! While at the Holocaust Museum, Karma got lost and left behind! =o Whenever we went on the bus, they counted everyone, but somehow they missed me and all of my friends thought I was with someone else crying (see how much I'm loved? >.<) Even I didn't realize I was lost until I asked a random lady what time it was and realized my class had left half an hour ago... (my watch is broken =x ) .... But then they came back and got me, finally realizing that I was missing about the time information was gonna call them to tell them I was still there...
The moral of the story? Karma needs to be more loud and obnoxious and needs to get rid of this uncanny ability to become invisible without meaning to so that they aren't used to not seeing me when I'm right there! gonk
So... anyone else have any interesting trips?

OMG Karma! I'm so glad that they came back to get you! How rude of them to forget you in the first place. They should make it up to you.

Yeah, when I went back to school Monday I was already late 'cause my dad and I had stopped at Hardee's to get some stupid breakfast food type stuff 'cause we were out of food at home and I was hungry... so anywho, I was late for school and going down the hall as fast as I could without running and then the principal is all like 'I need to talk to you!' and I'm thinking 'Oh crap, I'm in trouble! I didn't do it! What did I do? Ahhhh! gonk ' and then he's asking me if my mom was 'okay' with the 'incident' because they hadn't been able to get ahold of her(but they got ahold of my dad). 'Yeah'. She's the first one I told since she picked me up and all. "Are you sure?" 'Yeah.' "Are you sure? eek " 'Yeah...' so then I had to give the principal my mom's phone number 'in case of emergency' and all that crap... but I walked in the door right when the teacher was saying my name to see what I was doing for lunch! razz

They're too cheap to buy me something, my school is always 'having financial difficulties' or some such >.< But I am putting the highlight of my trip as getting lost in the stupid scrapbook I have to do ^.^ Wahahahahaha, say something more or less true and make them feel guilty!
