Anybody out there like Stephen Sondheim? He's written a lot of great stuff! I don't know all of it, but here's a little list:

I like murder and stuff, so I love Sweeney Todd and Assassins a lot. Didn't really wanna like Assassins, because of the subject matter, but the satiric beginning sucks you in, as does the folk music score. I think, anyway.
I liked Sunday in the Park With George a lot. Didn't like Into the Woods at first, though after seeing the video over and over again, I got to like it.
What are your opinions? Which show do you like the best?

Sondheim is probably definately my favourite musical composer and lyricist out there.
Into the Woods in my favourite, but I haven't seen everything. Such as Sweeney and Assasins. Merrily We Roll Along, Sunday in the Park with George, and Forum are other favourites.
And of course West Side Story, although I associate that more with Burnstein.
...and Follies.

I looooooove Stephen Sondheim. I've only seen a few of his works, but I love them all. I have seen:
West Side Story (DVD)
A Little Night Music(LIVE!!)
Sweeney Todd(LIVE AND DVD!!)
My favorite is definitely Sweeney Todd. <33333
