Hey, guys.
So, rumor has it that Twilight will more than likely be made into a movie (wooooh.)
Well, I was just thinking about casting.
The cast is a very important...uh...thing, I suppose. I mean, we want pretty good actors playing our beloved characters. Am I right?
Well, there have been some threads around here that are throwing around names of actors whom they would like to play certain characters.
Most of the these suggestions are wonderful. I could really see a lot of people portraying the characters now. :3
But, the thing is, most of these actors are, well...really very much successful. And, well lets be honest, how many of them would really want to be part of this teenage romance movie that isn't positive of being successful?
Not saying the movie will be bad or anything. I mean, thousands of teens love the book. But...
Well, I've just been thinking. Who says that all these well known actors will be cast? I mean, what if they do what they did with Harry Potter, and run open auditions and have people we've never heard of cast for the roles?
Now, I think they did a wonderful job with the mostly unknown cast of Harry Potter. Really.
But, like Harry Potter and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, do you think we'll just get a couple of first time teenage actors?
I wouldn't mind that at all, really. I'd rather it be actors we've never really heard of.
So, lets talk.
Do you think the cast will be well known actors like that ones that have been suggested, or do you think we'll get to see a couple of new faces for Twilight?

Well, now that you say that...
Im really hoping there will be alot of new faces!
It would probably be best, anyways.
And huge actors probably wouldn't be into playing in the movie, unless they've read the book. xD

It will probably be best. :3
I also think it will get a lot of people excited; I mean, we won't know what to expect from the actors, so we'll be nervous wondering if they'll be good or not.
I just hope they're as good as the kids in Narnia. 3nodding

I think they should get unknowns to play them, especially the 2 leads.
Narnia and Harry Potter were both great movies.

I really think it will be new faces because it seems that the new company that wants to do the movie is kinda low budget, so they'll probably hold open-call auditions and hopefully someone will pop up that embodies Edward *fingers crossed*. I'm sure we won't know any of the actors when and if it does come out.

You know... I sort of do hope that they're all new... It's not the acting I'm all too worried about. I'm sure they can get that down right. It's the appearances I'm worried about. =/ Must I remind you of the failure, Eragon the movie? Personalities, certain looks, etc. None weren't met all the way.
So I'm worried that they'll do that too with Twilight... I'm sure the effects won't be hard, since plenty of vampire movies have been made... I'm just all nervous about the personalities and appearances. So... I just pray that they don't ruin such wonderful books with a bad movie. D;

remember the sisterhood of the traveling pants?
the movie was nothing like the book, but it was still a good movie.
and Twilight The Movie can't very well be just like the book, can it?
so, then...
if twlilght ends up like the sisterhood, rather than eragon, it'd be a great movie.
reflect on that.
