So, what do you wear to ride your horse? Do you dress up nicely or just dive into the clothes heap? What about lessons or clinics? Do you have a favourite show outfit?
Share pics too! 4laugh

I ALWAYS wear full seat breeches when I ride, even if I'm riding western (other than one time) I own 5 pairs, 2 whites for shows and a blue, a brown and a black. I can't ride in anything else! I also always wear my field boots when I'm doing English and my Paddock boots with my half-chaps when I'm doing western. When it comes to clinics, I wear a polo shirt or some sort of collard (spelling?) shirt. I try to wear them when I practice too but some days, it's easier to find a t-shirt. I also wear some color of full seats. Shows, it's my white full seats with a white show shirt, white stock tie and black dress boots and black show coat (no tails).
Oh! And helmet is a MUST no matter what I'm doing, other than in Omak when I ride my grandparents' neighbours' horses
Yeah...

Well, I often wear my light blue Jeans no matter what style of riding. Breeches make my but look big. neutral I will wear a tshirt, because they look snazzy no matter what the occasion. ;3 I often wear my blue Air walk barn shoes, but today I wore my gray work boots. :3 I will often wear my jacket, as it is burgundy, my fave color. :3 And...Today we used a spear to reinact some scenes from Troy, and from 300. :3 I also wear my nice black helmet too. ;3 Cause you know, Safety first. ;3 I don't show, but I have show jodhpurs, and some nice boots (that I gave to Savanna baby boo because she needed a new pair. xD ) that don't fit my calf now. D: I also have a nice blouse, and some gloves, aaaaaand....I don't have a show coat, because who the hell rides in a stuffy jacket in the middle of the friggin summer? Gawd. Wear a shirt. That's it. xd

since i don't have alot of money (and no horse... or tack...) I've got one pair of britches, a pair of chaps and some walmart boots for riding. i also have my helmet and gloves. I'm currently in the process of replacing my cheap boots with actual riding ones, and my chaps with a better pair. I also plan on getting a new helmet sometime in the future, because mine isn't all that great....

Nooorrrmmmaaallllly, just a regular pair of pants (usually cargo pants) and a t-shirt, with my school shoes (slender [not bulky like tennis shoes] slick-bottomed shoes). Helmet if I'm jumping.
If I'm setting an example or taking pictures, jodhs, half-chaps, boots, oxford shirt, and helmet; tan gloves if it's not burning up outside.

I've always been insistant on looking neat and polished at the barn. Since I'm an instructor and work with children and families, I want to make a good impression and look professional. When I'm teaching, I wear either a pair of riding jean jods or navy full seat breeches, along with the official barn polo shirt. I also wear a nice leather belt, but just a simple one - not rhinestones or anything.
For lessons I prefer to wear tighter shirts so my instructor can properly see my body, shoulders, and back. As for shoes I wear Ariat All-Terrian half-chaps and shoes, and sometimes my tall boots.
Here's a good pic of what I usually wear for lessons:

When I ride I always wear my one pair of jodphurs since I only go riding once a week and since I go straight after school I wear my sport top. I don't wear boots. I cant get my splints in them so I wear sutiable shoes. I wear my special gloves as they help me get over fear cause I rode siesta in them and my helmet and soon to be getting a pair of chaps!

Winter... Jeans, long sleeve shirt with a hoody and winter jacket, winter paddock boots and a winter hat under my helmet.

If it`s in a lesson *in summer* I like to wear my jodpers, and a tighter fiting T-shirt *nothing overly done though* so my instructor can see my position better, My riding boots, and riding gloves *I found I have to wear them since I`m allergic to MTG and alot of the horses have it so it cut my fingers open so now I have to wear gloves weather theres MTG or not just so I`m not overly cut XD XP D:* and a helmet. If I`m riding on trails alone *since I useally barback* I wear bright colored clothing. *in winter or a chilly fall day* I`d wear a pair of jeans *or winter riding pants* a fusia pink turtal neck, and a bright sugar pink vest, and I`d dress the horse up bright *ex. hotpink halter if needed, and if i`m using my saddle, it has a bright red saddle pad, and my bridle has little gold bits on the browband and noseband. shiney XD* I figure because I love to race and there are so many different trails, if somthing happend, it`d be easy to find us 3nodding I`d also make sure we were pretty bright because all the trail had to at some point cross a road, and since I`d be out sometimes till almost drak, I wanted both of us to be seen if a car went by. Althoguh if it`s just for fun in the summer, I love to just wear shorts and a t-shirt maby sandles *though mostly just shoes* and just boot it barbacking XD x3
