Okay.
Long Distance Relationship.
He Lives alone.
But spends alot of his time with his mother.

Now, I'm not used to people liking their parents.
So this is a new concept to me.

But, Then, like..
I feel like I'm something that he has to keep all hush-hush.. and that's why he spends so much time with her..

He hasn't told her anything about me, except that he loves me and thinks I'm "The one" and showed her a picture of me.

She's even stated, that anyone who smokes is NOT the girl for her son. And, SUPRISE, I smoke.

He told me if I came to visit, before I move in with him *in a year..* That while he's at work I should lock myself in his room, incase his dad came by. (His dad owns the house, My boyfriend owns half, and his dad rents it out to him and other people -though they moved out now- )

His excuse, is that his dad is a huge a*****e, and would probably make me leave..

..I just, I don't know how to talk to him about this.

There are times I want to leave him.
Because I'm 17, But I'm kinda like a 14 year old.
I can't Drive because of outstanding legal fines, I don't have enough confidence in myself to try to get a job, because all I've ever heard from my mom and dad is how nobody would hire me. So I don't see a point in it..

I don't want to be a huge burden on him..
But he promises he doesn't mind..

crying crying crying I just don't know what to do!

I've never been treated my age. I've always been treated younger.
But I WANT to become more independant.
...How though? ........
How do I become more independant?
And How do I talk to him about all of this and all of these feelings?..

...D= Sorry for being a whiny emo pig.. >_<

For becoming more independent: seriously, I recommend getting a job. If you get something you like it's actually pretty rewarding to know you are actually working for your money. At least that's how I felt when I got a job. Plus it seems like people take you more seriously (as an adult, or close to an adult) if you are working. The "no one would hire you" is BS. It's hard to get your first job, but that doesn't mean you can't get one.

Your parents can tell you that no one would hire you, but in the end it doesn't matter what they think since it's not like they are the ones doing the hiring.

As far as the mother, maybe you can suggest a get together or something? I think meeting the parents (or at least parent) face to face and having lunch/dinner is a pretty standard thing. He shouldn't keep you as some kind of secret. (However, he also has the right to spend time with his mother, even if it's a lot of time. Believe it or not, some people get along pretty well with their parents).

(*** The Reason They say Nobody will Hire me is because I'm 17, I turn 18 next march. And I'm being Homeschooled/kinda/sorta/not-really. I'm Not gonna Graduate. Or get my GED anytime soon.. ***)
