Who: Atae, Edward Elric, Endless, Liliana (& likely a scattering of Lily's House-family) -Nahanni as a silent observer in the study too, most likely.
What: a day for spending time with friends & other revelations
Where: Trel's house.
When: Monday, 14 May 2007
Why: Endless has something to tell Lily...
The spring day was cool & slightly damp from the recent rains in the area. A yellow sun was trying to peek through what remained of gray clouds that had stopped their deluge sometime that morning. Everything still shimmered with drops of water that glittered when the sun hit them right. A slight movement could be seen within the plants of the cottage's garden, mostly white but from time to time a pink tail-tip could be seen over top the edge of one of the plants as little Amaryllis lowered her head & inadvertantly raised her posterior to get closer to one of her beloved flora.
Inside the house was surprisingly quiet. Many of the more energetic creatures having been confined inside while the rains swept by outside had fled the house in glee the moment the rains stopped and the sun started to show itself. Those that remained seemed to be sleeping or resting, even though the scent of freshly baked cookies wafted through the house from the kitchen. Ginny herself lay upon a exceptionally large and fluffy pillow near the kitchen door, red hair pooled around her as she dozed as comfortably as she could in her gravid state. Remus and his youngest Hemi were nestled -surprisingly enough or not- on a cushion not far from the pregnant female, the teen's odd purrs echoing slightly in the quiet purr. Kitsusagi were not supposed to be able to purr, but it seemed no one had informed Remus' loving son. If one looked up high enough, the plaid tail of one fae Audio hung down over the side of his hammock. A brown volu with white fawn markings was curled in the windowsil to the right of the main door, large green eyes blinking out nervously. Just beneath her on a pillow was what looked to be a gray pillow but for the gentle rise and fall of her chest was surrounded by 8 tiny kittens of various colors that though lumped together seemed to be favoring pairs. Beneath the beta tank in the other window a regal feather-tailed cat dozed in repose, gold filigree markings shining against her purple fur.
If one looked over the back of the sofa that faced the tv in the far corner that's back was to the door at an angle they would find a painterly kirin, curled protectively in her spot around an egg almost constantly in her company. Two creatures where curled at her feet, one white with red tips the other green, both looking like fluffy balls of fur.
Within the library Liliana lay sleeping curled beside her best friend Edward on the sofa in front of the fireplace. The flames were low and she had a paw slightly over her face as if covering her eyes.

Two shapes emerged from the trees at the front of the yard, both kitsusagi, one a starry pelted male and the other a small adult female with mottled brown fur and crowned with chocolate colored locks. The female bore nothing but her beloved red belt, while the male carried what appeared to a box of teabags.
Endless stepped up and knocked swiftly on the door before sitting, tails wrapped securely around his side. Atae remained standing, buzzing with an excited/nervous energy. She spotted Amaryllis amids the foliage and waved a greeting, head ducking in a shy manner. It had been quite a while since either of them had actually visited here, and while she'd been distracted by the situation at paw that previous trip, this one was purely for leisure (as far as she knew) and the simple fact of how many people might be inside made her stomach do sommersaults. She was probably going to be quite relieved to find that there were relatively few of the residents on-site right now.

Edward had essentially passed out next to Liliana. His back against her side and his head upon her shoulder. He hadn't really intended to be in that position... its just how it ended up. The alchemist's mouth hung open as he slept while laying on his side, legs stretched out. When Edward slept, he was usually rather out of it... being quite the deep sleeper. Although there were certain things that could trigger his wakefulness... I suppose you could call it selective waking, or something. A short comment would do the trick, or anything that would usually get his attention while conscious. Other than that, you might as well forget it.

A small white face with green leaves on her cheeks and pink tips on her ears. [Welcome, friends of Liliana.] The gardening cait remembered them having visited with the crimson daughter of Remus before in the company of the fullmetal kitsu who was currently staying with their family. [Many are sleeping. I have the garden to care for. Sweet Water.] Without another word Amaryllis had disappeared into the plants followed by her white rabbit familiar.
Inside, a small -not-so-small anymore- bundle of light chocolate fur covered by dark chocolate tails stirred at the sound of the door buzzer. Opening his mouth in a yawn Hemi showed his teeth and pink tongue, smacking his lips sleepily before stepping off the cushion he had been sharing with his father And stretching. Small mostly goldish colored wings fluttered as light blue eyes opened with bright excitement. Pushing his scarf out of his way the teen bounded across the room to the door, opening it with a cheery "Hello!"
Seeing who it was those light blue eyes sparkled even more, if possible. "Endless!! Lily will be so thrilled!! And who's your pretty companion?" The teen gave Atae a warm & friendly smile. "I'm Hemi. Lily's baby brother." Brown tails were wagging happily as he backed up to let them inside, indicating for them to follow. "Lily's in the study. C'mon!"
With a little hop he trotted over to the magic door -checking to see that they followed him- & swung it open to reveal the scene inside before ushering Atae & Endless inside with a flamboyant bow he must have picked up from his Uncle AearHwesta. "Lily's gonna be so happy!"

Hmm, interesting. Brown eyes blinked contently as they scanned the cottage grounds. Alot of the residences had come out to enjoy the weather, leaving the home drastically quieter. Nahanni looked down from his perch beside the skylight window. Even Relm Arrowny has left her painting sanctuary to enjoy the sun.
A yawn escaped Nahanni. How nice to have beautiful weather, peace and quiet, and no tension at all. Yes, the kit was was as content as she ever felt. An ear flicked suddenly at the sound of a knock, and she curiously crawled toward the front door. Her head barely peeked over to find two kitsus waiting at the door. They...didn't look familiar. A nose twitched at the faint smell of tea.
The door opened, and Nahanni ducked her head back out of view. Hemi's voice and content of words made her glance back down at the group. As they walked inside, the sashed kit hopped down and darted stealthly after, running immediately to a chair. She watched as they stepped inside the magic door, and questioned herself if she was daring enough to follow. What...were they up to?

Endless grinned at Hemi around the box of tea and followed him in, Atae not far behind. The younger adult's eyes roved around the room in a manner that was probably quite familiar to the younger Nahanni. She was obviously nervous about being stuck in a crowded room. "Ah... 'M Atae." She flashed a quick smile at Hemi but was too distracted by looking around to make much more of answer.
Atae started to settle about half-way across the room when the realization settled in that she wasn't going to be subjected to the same sort of crowd she'd seen in here last time. It was about the time that they reached the magic door that she glimpsed Nahanni, but they were through it before her curious gaze could really register the details.
Endless simply stood for a moment and looked at the two on the couch, several difficult to define emotions flicking across his face. He was glad Lily had another good friend, jealous to a degree that someone else was napping with her like that... a little disappointed he wasn't the one laying next to her... all triggered by the strongest feeling which was his newly realized love for Liliana. He pushed the negative bits aside, telling himself that it was all innocent. This was Lily after all...
He set the box of tea down and poked Hemi. "I brought that for Ginny..." He didn't really know if he wanted someone to go get Ginny or take it to her, so he just left it at that and went over to nuzzle Lily awake. "C'mon Lily... as much as I like watching you sleep I came over so we could talk." Although with Edward here and Atae tagging along that might prove more difficult than he'd first hoped. But it wasn't fair to Atae not to let her come see her friend, especially since she hadn't been able to track him down since before that time he got injured.
And Atae was certainly ecstatic to see Edward, although she couldn't help a giggle at his choice of sleeping positions. She slunk over next to the sofa, ducked down just below the level of the seat cushions, and reached up to poke him in the stomach to see if it would get any sort of reaction.

Edward only continued to snooze... completely oblivious to any and all that was around him. That is, until his stomach was being poked. There was a snort and a grunt from the little alchemist, and then a rolling over. Although the fact that Liliana was right next to him, made that difficult and more awkward. However, he was still in a rather deep slumber and didn't seem to notice. The new position he had taken, ended up with his head hanging off the edge of the couch, upside down... and mouth still open. He having ended up on his back since Liliana's bigger form didn't allow him to roll over completely. Silly Edward... he sure liked to sleep. It would take more that that to get him up!

"Sweet! I know Aunt Ginny will appreciate that. She's sleeping too. You must really have a purpose to have missed her sleeping near the kitchen." The teen said, drawing out his wand and sending the teas on a wobbily path to the kitchen.
Hemi grinned to himself at the scene, happy to watch on the outskirts for now. He knew his sister was not nearly as deep a sleeper as her friend and with Ed moving around adding to the sound of Endless' voice & touch. The black interrior of her foreleg brushed along her muzzle as Liliana stirred and it slipped from its place of covering her eyes as she automatically attempted to nuzzle her friend in her fading sleep. One green eye slowly opened and sleepy though she was Lily recognized her waker, white & gold tails starting to wag happily. "Endless..." Liliana murmured sleepily opening her other eye with a smile. Her brother started hopping a little bit in happy excitement. Hemi had known she would be happy to see her friend.
"You like watching me sleep?" Yes, she was not quite awake yet. "You came over so we could talk?" Shifting away from Edward she gave the teen a nudge before stretching. Then her eyes widened looking much more alert and awake than just a moment before. Green eyes smiled warmly to match the rest of her expression. "Endless! You came to visit!"
Joyfully she gave the male a hug. Hemi giggled, noting that she had yet to see Atae.

Brown eyes widened as the belted kitsu caught sight of her. Before anything could happen, they were in the door, which she just barely glimpsed to be the study. Tails twitched nervously, and her tummy tightened painfully. No....it was not her place. Ears fell as the shy kit glanced solemnly at the room, filled with sleepy family. Giving one last glance to the door, Nahanni turned with tails down and slinked away in the main room.

Peeking over at Hemi, Atae decided to ask about the other kit she'd seen. "I saw another kitsu about your age in the other room... she was wearing something yellow. Is she your sister too?" She had looked a bit like something between Lily, Hemi, and Remus...
She gave the sleepy Edward an impatient huff while waiting for Hemi to answer and looked around the room. She spotted an unused bookmark sitting nearby and on impulse grabbed it and stuck it in Edward's open mouth before backing up.
Endless nearly fell backwards at Lily's sudden explosion of affection. It took him a moment to get his heart out of his throat, first because of the suprise and then because he had to tell himself that Lily was just being Lily again. What had before been a mild discomfort when he was close to her in the presense of others had been magnified, but he refused to let it show.
"Yeah, I came to visit..." He licked Lily's cheek once before he really thought about it, acted like he'd meant to do so the whole time, and turned to Hemi for a moment to breathe. "If you have another sibling out there why don't you invite her in? I haven't really gotten to meet many of you... Lily's talked about you guys some."
He wanted Lily alone to tell her how he felt and he was inviting more people into the room? ...He felt so smart right now...

Well that certainly does the trick. What with a bookmark stuck into his mouth, Edward suddenly gagged and spat out the bookmark. His golden eyes flying open in surprise as he coughed a bit. Only to see the mischievious Atae.... upside down. And the blood was rushing to his head. Turning himself upright and onto his stomach, the alchemist rubbed at his eyes in a sleepy and disgruntled fashion. "What's the big idea?" he asked groggily, and peering down at the bookmark on the floor. That wasn't very nice! Huff.
As he became more aware, he noticed Lilianna's excitement and the fact that Endless was there. He really didn't know Endless very well... although he had noticed some things about the few times that Endless had been around. Considering Edward only saw Endless when they were both around Lilianna. Hm. Edward is a very observant Kitsusagi after all... and he stayed oddly quiet as he watched the both of them carefully. Atae going forgotten for the moment... and Hemi not having been noticed.

"Wearing yellow? That's probably Nahanni!" Bouncing over to snuggle Atae for the info the teen had to quirk his head curiously when Endless made the suggestion he did. Quite the opposite of his elder sister, Hemi's strength was his empathy and uncerstanding feelings. He knew that was not what the starry pelted male wanted. Light blue eyes pierced with an eirie sense of if not full understanding, definitely strong suspision. As if his clear blue gaze was asking 'you like my sister, don't you? why not tell her? why stall now?' without a sound. "Really?" A smile for his sister accompanied by a wag of his tails. "That's awesome."
Liliana blinked a bit at being licked then smiled once more. She lay with legs beneath her, shoulders, neck & head up & pulled her wings to her body, tails wagging. She was just happy her friends were here. What a wonderful way to wake up! Then Edward was choking and she glanced worriedly at him until relizing he was fine. Noticing Atae then she smiled. "Miss Atae too! It's a pleasure!"
A preplexed look touched her still slightly sleepy green eyes, her gaze returning to Endless. "What did you want to talk about, Endless?"
Hemi giggled to himself, padding to the door. "I'll go see if Nahanni will join us. Daddy says you were shy, Miss Atae? Nahanni's shy." Grinning he bounced off after his sister quietly to not wake the household. He had not missed Edward watching Lily & Endless.
"Nahanni! heart Come to the study? Just to not be alone at least?" Light blue eyes pleaded sweetly at his sister.

Brown eyes glanced around to find everyone else sleeping. Hmm, why had she bothered? She should have know better, staying in her comfort zone. Red-tipped tails flickered as she wandered aimlessly in the room. Might as well head out...
Ears tilted, and before she knew it, Hemi stood before her. With the look of cuteness overload. Her posture had cowered back slightly. It was only Hemi.....why not actually try responding calmly? She stuttered for a responce. "Hemi! I....well...I...I'm sorry." She flopped to the floor and hid her face in her paws. "It was rude for me to..to...spy like that." Were the others mad? Her tails curled nervously.

Endless saw Edward looking at him and felt his ears burn. Even Hemi seemed to realize something was up. Atae and Lily seemed to be the only ones that didn't know he was here for more than just a random social visit. Should he just get it over with? Bah...
Maybe he could at least get Lily in a different part of the room first. "Well, I wanted to tell you something, among other things... one of which was asking about those potions books! I hadn't been able to catch you after class for a while..." He was doing his best to seem as calm and collected as he ever did, but he had a feeling he wasn't quite pulling it off.
"I had allergies and he had to look after me." Atae grinned, slightly sheepish. "I never knew someone could sneeze that many times in a row." Atae noticed Endless behavior was a little off from earlier, but she couldn't really put her foot on it. She thought it was just due to being somewhere they usually weren't.

Edward continued to watch Lilianna and Endless closely, not saying a word the entire time and with a light frown on his face. He knew something was up, and he sighed with a roll of his eyes. Sitting up, the alchemist tore his gaze away briefly to see Hemi go fetch his sister. He wasn't very well acquainted with Lilianna's younger siblings and didn't know all their names yet. Scrutinizing gaze then turned back towards the pair that had his attention. A grin and a wave given to Lilianna as she had looked his way. Yes, he was fine... despite the fact that he nearly choked on a bookmark!
