crying Sephiroth has beaten me several times... I've never felt like leveling up and collecting the things for the moogles to get the ultimate weapon so I never seriously tried to beat him... though I may now...

I can proudly declare that I have. I beat him when I was lvl 90. I had the Ultimate Weapon, and all forms lvl 7 except Final, which was lvl 5.
Any questions on strategy I would be glad to answer.
I am now lvl 95 and working on getting 100% on Jiminy's Journal to see the bonus movie at the end =D

Phantom: Are you playing KH2 American release? Also what does 'Negative Combo' do? (I think that's the name.... I'm not sure... and I know that sounds sad but what exactly does it do?)
If your doing American KH2 in Proud mode you don't need to complete everything in the journal to see the movie... I don't remember what you need though...

I hit lvl 99 about an hour ago.
I am playing the American Version and am aware of the Proud mode. I just don't want to go through the story again yet.
I beat Xensam once more once I hit 99 to check my new stats. I have 96% of the journal done, but only 16% of the gummi routes. crying
Negative combo decreases your max combo by one. So it decreases the times you hit before your finishing move.
Another tip before fighting Sephiroth, get Wisdom form high enough for MP Rage. I believe that's lvl 5 but I'm not positive. You also get another MP Rage at lvl 99 [If you picked the sword at the beginning]

Another question, what's the maximum level the forms can get to?
Also on form level ups, I know how the 4 forms level up, but does anyone know how Limit (Limit Form) levels up? (I'm asking in the off chance someone knows...)

I don't believe the Limits can level up... if they can I have no idea how.
Summon forms can reach level 7 as well. Those are a bit harder to level. Every one bar of summon form that is used, you get 1 exp. Quite time consuming once you get farther along.

Oh sorry I should have explained more carefully, Limit Form, Sora's Drive Form that looks like his KH 1 outfit which when used your party stays there. (KH2FM+)
