So as some of you may have heard season four will be the end of BSG the re-imagined series (that's the new one by the way).

How do you think things will wrap up?

Will Starbuck and Apollo ever get further than rediculous quantities of spur of the moment screwing?
Will Gaius discover if he is in fact human?
Will Laura Roslen finally die?* There was some talk that the dying leader might be the old man. In the miniseries when the galatica is supposed to be getting decommissioned he describes himself as wasting away. And the prophecy does specify a wasting disease.
Will we definitively be shown the final 5?* My crazy a** gut is telling me it isn't those 4,and even if it is, is the5th Ellen (whose dead) or someone else who just doesn't like 'all along the watchtower' as much as those four? hehe

I can't imagine how it'll end. Obviously, they're going to find Earth, but taking care of the cylons and meeting their earthican colonist brethren is just a whole new can of worms.

And hopefully Starbuck and Apollo make up their minds. Yeesh, those two. rofl

I think they might find present day Earth. Incapable of space travel and rather useless. At which point they'll realise it can't be home because it can't protect them from the cylons. That is of course assuming thats what they were hoping for rather than just any habitable world to rest on. rofl

They might find nothing but a couple crashed ancient ships and like 100 people who survived the original Earth colonists crashlanding on Earth and went on to try to scratch together some form of life. Wouldn't that be a kick in the balls?

They arrive at a wasteland of an Earth. It's been uninhabitable for a while. They find some clues on the surface of what happened. Apparently they were attacked by a group of wandering robots who were exiled by their Creators. razz

Anybody read the Dark Tower series by Stephen King? I've suddenly realized there are parallels. I wonder if they might end the same. I don't want to spoil the series for anyone, but... yeah.

Maybe thats it, they did mention not knowing exactly where the cylons set up camp. But I don't think the Cylons will have gone that far out bearing in mind until they took human form (as far as we know in the last few decades) they could live on any Gods forsaken rock cause Centurions don't need to breathe.

I think they'll find Earth the moment the series ends. It's not the point anyway, really.

I think Starbuck and Apollo will remain in their deadlock, they're too wild to just settle down together, like happy people.

Roslin won't die and they'll reveal the last Cylon at the last possible moment. Just to be torturous.

Spoiler whitened regarding your theory, NiennaSayyadina: Actually Ron Moore stated that them finding Earth will be its own little mini-arc. What will happen or what they'll find is a mystery, but they're not gonna pull a Voyager and just show them flying towards a gleaming Earth, then ending it.

Oh, and of course Roslin has to die. This is speculation, but if she's the dying leader, then she has to die.

Ooh, what if Adama is the Leader? I can see himself sacrificing himself for the fleet. Hell, he'd die for any one of his crew. He's pretty awesome.

Maybe they will bring back a little thing from the miniseries about "blind jumps" and for some reason instead of jumping to an orbit near earth, they jump right into the sun xD

What an ending! xD

I think the whole Starbuck/Apollo thing is pretty well resolved at this point. At the end of Maelstrom, everything had come pretty much full-circle, and that's perfectly okay. I don't think they should touch it again with a 10 foot pole. Or any size pole.

They'll definitely find Earth, and I hope more than anything that it's nothing like present or past Earth. I don't want the show in any way connected to our reality. It's far too cheesy.

If they ever land on Earth, they will land in Canada of course xD

Or somewhere that strangely looks like Canada xD

Yeah that was the theory in the 'dying leader' BSGwiki discussion bit. He does describe himself as like 'fading' or something in the miniseries because his ship is being decommissioned. Maybe that's how it'll happen!

They'll find Earth but Galatica will be destroyed before they get there. Adama will then die either on his ship or will escape only to fade with no ship left to command.

What about Hera and Six? What'll happen there?

Maybe theyll find out that the threatre in Roslins visions is on Earth - not a shadow of what was on Kobol.

i say not only do they find earth, but they then go from Battlestar Galactica to Galactica 1980 and accually land there and learn about earth

plus if you really REALLY look at the end of season 3 where they accually show earth, you just barly see cities on the surface (could just be me though...)
