I'm doing a scene from the Tempest from Shakespeare...Its act 2 The scene where Caliban is hiding then Trinculo comes then stephano is drunk and makes eveyone else drunk..so I'm playing caliban (yes i know im a girl) any tips for me on lines or character choices?

As someone who has read the whole play, let me inform you that Caliban is slime. He's also sneaky, beaten down, crazy, and deformed. I always pictured him as behaving a little like Gollum does in the LOTR movies.
He actually should be really fun to play.

Have you read The Tempest? If you have time before your performance, I suggest reading the play. It's very enjoyable, as you can imagine, and there's nothing like reading the whole play to get you understanding the context and the character better.
