Ok, so this theory is based off of what has happened recently in Gaia's plot.
Now as well all know, X was blasted in to the ocean with Gino when his giant arm caught him and dragged him off the cliff. Now as we see earlier in the comic, X can move somewhat fast. And the last we see him is falling head first towards the ocean. I figure he survived, either he came to and came to shore and back into the shadows. Or...
...On one of their missions investigating the blast, one of the 12 siblings found him. Bringing him back to Mother, they must have learned a lot about the G-Virus and the power it holds. They got to see it in action when 06 and 11 shot down 09. In the last comic, you see him being resurrected into the Hybrid is now. Now look closely at the comic... isn't he covered in the same green energy emitted from the huge blast that separated Gino and Johnny? I think it is safe to assume that X helped the Zurg out. The DARKNRGY that Flarn craved after this, seems like a diabolical thing X would have constructed.
Now with the reconstruction of Gambino's Mansion, you must know that Johnny K. is not a man to learn from his mistakes and must have rebuilt the G-Lab below it. Giving X a place to hide amongst the shadows, leaving us his encrypted message of horror...
I fear that X might be armed not only with his cocktail of G-Virus, but some toys he must have picked up from his Zurg rescuers. Time can only tell when he will show himself again, unleashing his twisted brand of mayhem on Gaia.
