I was talking to my mum about my cousins upcoming wedding (TRADITIONAL!!!)
And then I started to talk about mine, and I said I would love to marry Justin..
1. Hes my soul mate,
2. just coz of the wedding as he is wiccan too...
So my question is what type of wedding would you have..?
Is there a such thing as a wiccan wedding...??!!?? And what do u need to have..?
And what would you do at yours..?

I think that there's something like a handfasting. The High priest and priestess do the ceremony and stuff . I'll look up handfasting on Google. smile

My wedding idea is pretty morbid.
My gown would be a victorian-gothic gown in black and green
It would take place in a beautiful New Orleans cemetary
Everyone would have to dress accordingly

I am going to have a hand-fasting...but of course to make my family and his family happy, we will have a traditional wedding with tuxs and dresses.....it will be...purple and blue ^^ Cause those are my favorite colors lol.

I wrote my own handfasting already, Ive kinda mixed ideas with some things and found one that best suits myself. I would show you it but im actually in spain on holiday at the moment. I finished it just before I left razz . In mine I added some of like the traditional things aswell and kilts and dresses and stuff >_<

Yes, wiccan weddings exsist. a good friend of mine had one last summer.
you need a wiccan priest or priestess.
my wedding would have a wiccan priest/priestess and be in a garden or something old type, at dusk. gothic style wedding dress (w/ corsette) his suit old goth style aswell. horse and carriage for transport.

the grave yard idea is cool.....
I would like to be done in a rain forest, barefooted, maybe naked... lol... i'll elope *cough* MAYBE NOT I think in a rain forest would be beautiful....

A community I am in on LJ had a member post about her planned handfasting cerimony! It was really sweet! Anyone interested in a Wiccan Wedding should take a look. Here!As for my own wedding, I've always wanted it outdoors and although I have no one to wed at the moment . lol.

I would have a handfasting. Probably a small out door wedding with just my close friends and family. I would make the main dish then have other people bring a dish to pass. I would have my wedding on the back hill of my friends farm where I use to live. The hills are really tall and beautiful. I love it up there. Well from other post you all know that I am a karate freak so I think that I would get married in hakama instead of a dress. Or get a dress tailored to be more like hakama. Then of course I would jump the broom and have a wonderful honey moon some wheres really special.

I've considered a handfasting, but there would have to be a traditional wedding as well to please my parents. The handfasting would be very small and private, just a few people, like our best friends. I'd want it to be at night, outdoors, under a full moon, with trees surrounding us and grass under our feet. ^.^ That would definitely be my dream wedding.
