Howdy!
The other day I realised how fortunate our school is to have our Presentation Day (end of year speech day) at the Sydney Opera House. It's a pretty amazing place to perform. It feels very professional.
Anyways, it made me think about the 'grand' places people may have performed at.

Um...I performed in the Budokan Arena in Tokyo for a Suzuki Method concert. It wasn't very exciting, and I spent more time waiting for my group to go on than actually playing (and I got bored while waiting), so I only did it for one year.
My parents took a digital photo of the entire arena with everyone playing during the finale; I'm the only non-Japanese in the picture. domokun

This year my band will be marching in a Disney parade. It sounds like a lot of fun, except the 24 hour bus ride. If the trombones try to sing, there will be utter chaos on the trip. stare I did get to play at a graduation last year, which was awesome because I got to see all my senior friends one last time before they left.

Wow, the Sydney Opera House. o__o
Our Advanced Orchestra goes to Carnegie Hall every year, though are band isn't that privileged. ^^; We don't really perform anywhere special; we mostly do simple concerts in our auditorium and various competitions. My PYSO Orchestra, though, is going to perform in Boston somewhere (heh, I forgot exactly where) and ON THE QUEEN MARY!!! *happiness* *explodes* *lives again* We'll stay for one night and then perform for te passengers on the next. ^^ Anyway, it's gonna be pretty awesome. XD
((Our trombones sing, too!! XP))

The Opera House is a fantastic place to play. The acoustics are fantastic and it gives you an amazing feeling being there.
Only 22 sleeps till we go to the Opera House!

My marching band marched in the parade at Disney last year, and the concert band and jazz band performed on the dockside stage in downtown Disney.
