It hurts for a while so it can't be prevented, but eventually I'm sure you'll realize that he wasn't the one, and while he might have brought you joy he didn't bring that one special emotion known as love. Just think, whatever emotions you felt with him are nothin' compared to how you'll feel eventually in life, but you just gotta be patient and have fun while you wait. Tis much more fun to be happy that you got some experience so you'll be more ready and less gullible the next time around.
