ANTHONY RAPP AND ADAM PASCAL ARE RETURNING TO RENT IN THE NEDERLANDER THIS SUMMER.
Oh wow.
That deserved capslock. The website Eleven years after creating the roles of Mark Cohen and Roger Davis in Rent, original stars Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal will return to the long-running musical for a six-week run, a production spokesperson confirmed. The two actors will begin on July 30 and remain on Broadway through September 9. Oh my goodness.
Is it true?
Am I getting all excited for nothing?

EEEEEK! That would be so awesome...and yet so terrible because I won't be able to go see it! I hope it's true though...that would just be amazing.

Am I getting all excited for nothing? No! I think it's true! I heard from my gymnastics coach on thursday! she lives in NYC. I am going to try and get tickets. I bet it will sell out really fast though.

My Codsa I'm dorky. I am SO not kidding, after I read that, I got light-headed and started hyperventilating.
s**t... I HAVE to get to New York... s**t!!! I just spent my ONE free spontaneous vacation and blew EVERY penny I had!!!
Cod dammit, I just spent everything I had buying airplane tickets to California and a ticket to Spelling Bee for the OBC reunion... AAAH... NOT FAIR!!! A-Rapp and Adam?! NOOOO!!! NOT FAIR!!!

*screams and dies* OH. MY. GOD! Are you serious! MUST GO! I've been hoping something like that would happen for AGES!!! I'm going to beg my parents...better start saving so I could possibly pay for part of it...I will DIE if I do not go. Yeah, I know all this seems a bit melodramatic, but I just saw RENT live for the first time. My obsession is stronger than ever now. This is the coolest thing EVER!

DDD< I told my mom about how A-Rapp and Adam are returning. She knows how obsessed I am with the OBC/movie cast of RENT, and when I told her a couple were returning, she had me look up tickets and plane tickets. She was actually CONSIDERING it, and I've been picking at it slightly since I first brought it up, but I really don't think it's going to happen. Which makes me want to shoot myself in the foot. Even more so, because there are STILL THIRD ROW ******** SEATS OPEN FOR THE DAYS ADAM AND A-RAPP ARE COMING. DDDx<

Yeah, well, of course you get cool parents. My parents are all like 'no, it's not a good idea, waste all that money you should be saving for school, new york's dangerous' blah blah. Stupid. The worst is my brother is going to New York but he leaves the day Anthony and Adam start they're run...if they were staying just like...two days longer (my brother and his friends) mom probably would have let me go. Grrr. Life is terribly unfair.
