Basic Information Corrupted Kyn, often called Corrupt Kyn in the singular, are an older breed pre-dating Lunars and Gargoyles. In general, the males are far more intelligent than the females, while the females possess greater physical strength than the males. Corrupted were restricted to a single island early on in their creation in order to protect the mainland from their blood-thirsty nature. Unlike other Kyn species, Corrupt enjoy playing with their food and gorging themselves. Their habits wax towards being wasteful, and they have a strong lust for power that can only be controlled by knowing someone with greater power is above them.
Corrupt are the only species of full Kyn that are able to hatch from the flowers without needing someone to remove them. When a Corrupt Kyn is born in the Meadow of Life, they find themselves uncontrollably attracted to an island that they cannot see. Being semi-aquatic at birth, they leave the island, and swim towards the place that calls to them. Upon arrival, they typically avoid contact with others of their kind and remain near the Black Temple - the point that has drawn them there. As they grow older, they find themselves less drawn to the Temple as well as without the ability to swim away from the island.
Their dislike of water stems from the simple fact that it bars them from the mainland. Corrupted Kyn are raised as a sort of communal responsibility once they lose their fascination with water, and are placed into their rank once they reach adulthood. Changing ranks is very rare amongst Corrupted, though it isn't entirely unheard of.
Corrupted Kyn likewise have a strong dislike for humans, and any other sentient non-Kyn creature that can bond with other breeds of Kyn. They find them to be fragile, and far too manipulative of their innocent Kyn partners. In complete opposition, Corrupted Kyn have a sort of reverence for normal Kyn. While they do view them as being inferior, they also realize that breeding with or finding normal Kyn that can fly or use magic may be their only way off of the island. Of course, bonded Kyn that side with man-creatures are nothing more than pets, and are best to be put out of their own misery.

The Caste System Male and female Corrupted are typically divided into society unequally, with females assuming more warrior-prone roles while the males tend to be in charge of things. Because of this, the caste system that is used to determine a Kyn's place in society is typically geared towards specific gendesr. The hierarchy below lists the highest rank to the lowest rank, with a dash before the gender allowed the position.Quote: Imperial CasteThis is the only Caste allowed inside of the Temple itself without requiring express permission from the EmperorEmperor - male - The highest possible class, leader of the Corrupted Kyn. Held by Rikkashan (NPC). Imperial Guards - female - Elite warriors of Corrupt society, they protect and carry out the orders of the Emperor and him alone. Highest rank for females. Water-Walker - male - Highest possible rank for a Half-Corrupt. There is only one: Tigris Euphre (NPC). Imperial Aids - male - Serve the Emperor, Water-Walker, and Imperial Guards, and serve as the Temple's last line of defense before reaching the Imperial Guards in the throne room. Highest rank for a male aside from Emperor. Quote: Conscript CasteLeaders of the army and defenders of the Temple.Temple Guards - female - Very intelligent females with powerful Voices may become Temple Guards. They are similar to battle priestesses, and they serve the dual purposes of leading others in worship and defending the temple. Worshippers - female and male - Strong hunters and organizers may become Worshippers, particularly if they have a Physical Voice. They attend to the Temple Guards, care for the Temple itself, assist the Guards in matters of worship, and also defend the Temple. Speakers - female and male - Generals of Corrupted society. They are very intelligent and have very powerful offensive Voices. Usually take to the front lines and are devastatingly powerful. Speaker Aides - typically male - All Speaker Aides have Mind Speak. They are rarely used for offensive battle themselves, and are told to hide behind Speakers on the battlefield. Speaker Aides are used like megaphones, relaying orders from the general to enormous numbers of Corrupted Hunters and Organizers through the use of Mind Speak. Quote: Artists' GuildThis Caste is known for creative works. Paintings, stories, sculptures, buildings, and walls are just a small part of what this guild is known for. They are said to form the backbone of society, because they create the all-important infrastructure of the island.Gifted Arts - usually male - These are the creative Whisperers, for the most part: Fire and Mud Whisperers make clay for sculptures and fortifications, Stone Whisperers make buildings and walls, and Mineral Whisperers make fantastic sculptures and objects. Oral Caretakers - male - Oral Caretakers carry on the oral tradition and tell the people the stories passed down from Rikkashan through the generations. They also create new stories of the great works of their people. Common Voices for Oral Caretakers include Project Thought and Smoke Whisper, to use as visual aids. Quote: CommonersOrganizers - male - These males coordinate the Hunters' efforts to get food, and are most known for their ability to catalog and remember numbers and types of things in storage. If it needs someone to deliver it, or to decide who gets it, it's under the Organizers' capable claws. They are also typically soldiers. Trades-class - female and male - These Corrupt include (for example) the bakers and millers of Corrupt society, and have the least potent of all Voices. They are the noncombatant working force of Corrupt society. Hunters - female - In charge of procuring the large quantities of meat needed to sustain the population. At times, this is an especially difficult task because of the size of the island itself. Most Hunters find themselves in the shallows and on top of reefs, hunting for fish and other marine animals. They are also the main force of soldiers in any situation of organized battle. Raisers - female - Females in charge of taking care of the young, as raising is not done by a single family group. The family is structured around the caste system, where most young view the Emperor as their non-biological father.

Voices Voices are innate magic-driven abilities that Corrupted are born with. While they have no talent with learning and wielding magic like Kyns do, they are born with a single talent which they can hone through their lifetime. Because of this, Voices are almost always more powerful than normal Kyn magic. There are two known ways in which a Corrupt Kyn may change their given Voice. Through a Blood Bond made with another Corrupted the the Kyn may exchange their voices. If a Corrupted with Seal Voice kills another of their own kind, they may have the opportunity to steal that one's Voice if they are fast enough to bind the magic to themself. This is impossible for one without Seal Voice.Quote: Rare VoicesRare Voices belong to particular characters only and are not available to others for the most part. They are usually exclusive to a restricted position, not available to regular characters. Final Summons - Emperor Rikkashan is the eldest Corrupted, and the only one known with the Voice known as Final Summons. This Voice is extremely powerful and dangerous, and nearly irresistible. Very similar to the Voice placed on the Black Temple that calls newly hatched Corrupted Kyn to the temple, when Rikkashan uses the Final Summons he can call his target and as long as they are in range they will be drawn irresisibly to him, and once they arrive they will fall into a trance-like state, immobile until he rouses them. His range is limited, but it's not known exactly what limits it. Those within his sight are most easily called, and those within hearing range are at high risk-- beyond that the strength of the Voice slowly tapers off. This Voice is exclusive to Emperor Rikkashan. This Voice cannot be traded or stolen. Water-Walk - This Voice is extremely, extremely rare. There is only one Corrupted with this particular Voice: Tigris Euphre, the half-Corrupted Draco panthera. Contrary to what the name suggests, this Voice does not actually allow a Corrupted to walk on water, nor does it have anything to do with water at all. Rather, this Voice is a physical enhancement, the brother of the Mercury Voice: the one who uses it can run at ludicrous speeds, no more than a passing blur trailing a powerful funnel of wind, and it gives him enormous endurance, letting him run like this for many hours on end. He moves so fast that he can run along the surface of the ocean-- making him the only Corrupted currently capable of getting off the island on which the Corrupted live. The Voice protects Tigris from his own g-forces through an unexplained phenomenon, and his training is stil increasing his speed. His current top speed is roughly 800 miles per hour-- he can break the sound barrier. This Voice is very dangerous, and the one who uses it can be very unpredictable. This Voice is exclusive to Tigris Euphre. This Voice cannot be traded or stolen. Water-Walk is accompanied by a pseudo-Voice. It isn't truly a Voice, because Tigris has no control over it. The funnel of wind that is created around him when he runs, caused by the air being pushed out of his way at unbelievable speed, is known as Ansil's Wrath and it can be felt powerfully quite a way away from him for anyone in his wake. Up close, it is dangerous and destructive and can act as a barrier that keeps attacks from reaching him. Mind Speak - This Voice is held exclusively by Speaker Aides; any Corrupted born with this Voice is put into a class to learn how to be a Speaker's assistant. With this Voice, a Corrupted can project thoughts to many targets, and their range is enormous-- it can stretch over the entire island. Although it is not a formidable Voice in its own right, it is used to direct the actions of many Corrupted Kyn. This makes it a very dangerous power indeed. This Voice is restricted to Speaker Aides. They take orders given by a Speaker and relay those orders across the battlefield. Seal Voice - This Voice is extremely, extremely rare, and those who are born with it are lucky if they are able to hide it from Rikkashan into adulthood. Rikkashan has been known to kill those who possess this Voice out of jealousy. This Voice appears as a second Voice next to a more common and dominant Voice. If a Corrupted has Seal Voice, it means that when he or she kills another Corrupt, he/she can Seal the other's Voice onto him/herself. When they Seal, they do not lose their original Voice, and come out with two functional Voices. If a Voice Sealer can Seal a powerful Voice and prove him/herself useful and loyal, Rikkashan may allow them to live and give them Speaker or Temple Guard status. This can be done many times. In essence, it acts as a slot to temporarily or permanently hold a second Voice. This Voice cannot be traded or stolen. Quote: Voice Sub-Class: Elemental WhisperersElemental Whisperers are a special sub-class mostly made up of Organizers and Hunters. They are usually held in esteem over others in their same caste because of their rare skills. An extremely powerful Whisperer (in an offensive element, like fire) may ascend to the level of Worshipper. A Whisperer with a constructive element, like Mineral or Stone, will enter the Artists' Guild. Mineral Whisper - This technique is rather rare (the rarest of the Whisper class), and usually only appears in males. With this technique, a Corrupted can manipulate minerals and create fantastic objects by making a small sample replicate and change itself, molding it with his willpower. It is a difficult and slow process, but the result can be a very powerful, unique object. This is one of the many non-violent Voices often found in males. Mineral Whisper Types Gold Whisper Silver Whisper Salt Whisper (covers all salts) Granite Whisper Iron Whisper (covers iron and steel) Crystal Whisper (covers all crystal formations except salts) Most Mineral Whisperers have abilities in two or three of these subdomains.
Fire Whisper - This is a powerful technique in battle, usually employed from behind a barricade or behind the front lines. It's often found in larger males and smaller females. A Fire Whisperer can manipulate an active flame in fantastic ways. The only limits are imagination and range-- the flames can only be stretched so far from the source. The larger the source, the greater the range, but a point of the flame must always be anchored to the source. There is one other restriction-- a Fire Whisperer's skill level and practice determines the maximum size of a source that a Whisperer can manipulate. A forest fire is out of even the most powerful Fire Whisperer's range. They are occasionally called "Fire Dancers" for the way they use their power during festivities. Occasionally a Fire Whisperer will enter the Artists' Guild and work with a Mud Whisperer to create clay. [Effective partners: Project Fire, Fire Thought, Fire Breath]
Wood Whisper - This technique is similar to Mineral Whisper, and is usually found in males. It is capable of much larger manipulations than Mineral Whisper, but they are usually much simpler than mineral manipulations. A Wood Whisperer uses his Voice to grow trees and other plants into special shapes. Some of them become artists, sculpting topiary, but many more use them to create homes out of large trees or fortify areas with walls of vines. The process is rather slow and the large manipulations that can make a home into a tree can take months at a time. The more skilled a Wood Whisperer is, the faster and more complex their creations can be.
Mud Whisper - Mud Whisper is a crude artistic technique, used in combination with Stone and Fire Whisper to create fortifications and strong buildings. Mud Whisper allows a Corrupted to pull mud and dirt from the earth and sculpt it into positions or pack it into spaces where a Fire Whisperer can heat it into strong clay, helping it to strengthen stone walls. Mud Whisperers also work with Fire Whisperers to make delicate and beautiful pottery. The smaller the object being sculpted from the mud, the smoother it will be. A mud wall will be very crude, while a vase can be very smooth and beautiful.
Stone Whisper - Stone Whisper is the ultimate Voice for artisans. Using it they can raise stone from the earth and mold it into various shapes as they please. It is capable of much larger works than Mineral Whisper, but they are crude in comparison. It is common practice when creating a beautiful building that a Stone Whisperer will raise it from the ground and create the building itself, then a Mud Whisperer and a Fire Whisperer will fortify the stones, and at last a Mineral Whisperer will smooth out the surfaces within and add the finer and more beautiful details. Stone Whisper is a slow process because it requires one to pull stone from deep underground.
Smoke Whisper - This is a Voice that lets Corrupted become Oral Caretakers. A Smoke Whisperer can change the color and shape of smoke rising from a fire and mold it into moving images to assist in storytelling.
Poison Whisper - This is a very deadly and very powerful, but rarely useful when not in conjunction with a Poison Projector or Poison Thinker. A Poison Whisperer can manipulate at most two kinds of poison gases to make wisps that can avoid injuring allies and go straight to foes. This makes them very dangerous, as long as there is a source of poison gas for them to manipulate. [Effective partners: Project Poison, Poison Thought]Poison Types Mustard Gas Tear Gas Phosgene Chlorine Nerve Gas Miasma
Wind Whisper - This is a noncombatant Voice that often puts a Corrupt into the Trader-Class. Usually, a Wind Whisperer becomes a Miller uses his power to operate the windmill at maximum capacity. Pretty handy. Quote: Voice Sub-Class: Elemental ProjectorsElemental Projectors are more powerful than Elemental Whisperers, though they cannot manipulate their elements in the same ways. Projections are usually found in Hunters, so they are almost exclusively found in females. A powerful Projector may be considered worthy of becoming a Temple Guard. Project Thought does not fall into this class. Project Fire - Project Fire has fantastic range in comparison to Fire Whispering. This Voice allows the user to summon flame onto any target object or person within the line of sight-- though distances beyond about a half a mile become exhausting to summon flame upon. They cannot manipulate the fire as Fire Whisperers can, but their ability to summon it directly onto foes lets them more easily attack multiple targets with explosions. [Effective partners: Fire Whisper] Project Poison - An important trick to use in combination with a Poison Whisperer, a Poison Projector can cause poisonous gas to rise from the ground. The type of poison one can create differs from one Corrupted to the next; each can create at most two, but they can't choose which ones they are capable of making. They cannot manipulate the poison themselves, so if they project it too close to their comrades the wind can cause devastation to their own ranks. This can be solved with the help of a Poison Whisperer. [Effective partners: Poison Whisper] Project Lightning - Lightning lasts for no more than an instant, so manipulation of it is nigh-impossible. Project Lightning, however, is quite a powerful Voice that allows the user to summon lightning from the sky to strike one or more of his foes. It is an extremely deadly Voice, not to be taken lightly. [Effective partners: Summon Rain] Project Thunder - This Voice uses the power of sound waves to cause devastation, particularly to objects rather than people. The projection of these invisible and powerful waves can annihilate structures, literally shaking them apart or splintering them. Different Thunder Projectors are better at destroying different materials-- wood, stone, earth, etc. [Effective partners: Project Blades] Project Gale - One of two wind Projections, Project Gale allows the user to create a temporary but devastating blast of gale-force wind. This wind can blow down small trees and even lift and throw mid-size Kyn. It can, of course, be used like Gale Breath to project a gale away from oneself, but it is infinitely more versatile because it can be directed at any point from any direction. Stronger and more experienced Gale Projectors can make stronger winds that last longer, and when many Gale Projectors work together they can create devastating tornadoes. Usually found in males. [Effective partners: Project Gale, Summon Rain] Project Blades - This Voice is the other wind-based Projection, and it is very deadly. A well-trained male with this Voice almost always becomes a Speaker. Project Blades allows a Corrupt to summon razor-sharp blades of wind and direct them at a target or many targets. They can be thrown in all directions, though once thrown their course cannot be altered. It is common practice to fire these blades into an oncoming enemy as the battle begins, decimating much of their front line as hundreds of wind blades rush at them. The blades can be sped up, as well, allowing them to cut through more foes if they are followed by a Project Thunder in the same direction. Usually found in males, this Voice is not to be trifled with. [Effective partners: Project Thunder] Quote: Voice Sub-Class: Elemental ThinkersElemental Thinkers are more powerful than Elemental Projectors, and found almost exclusively in Organizers. Thinkers can both conjure and manipulate their elements. Powerful Elemental Thinkers may be able to reach the position of Speaker. Project Thought does not fall into this class. Fire Thought - This is a formidable Voice, especially when used in combination with a powerful Fire Whisperer. A Fire Thinker can summon flame from nothing and sustain it in nothing, and control it in nothing. In short, a Fire Thinker is capable of forming and manipulating fire in the one place that Fire Whisperers and Projectors cannot: in midair. They do not need a source or fuel to sustain their conjured fire, giving them much more freedom to attack. The only downside is that they have less endurance than the others, which is why working with a Fire Whisperer works best-- they can place flame in the air and let the Whisperer do the manipulating so the Thinker can conserve energy. [Effective partners: Fire Whisper] Poison Thought - Much like Fire Thought, a Poison Thinker can both form and manipulate poison, making them more powerful than their Whispering and Projecting counterparts. Though their stamina is lower, they are infinitely more dangerous than Poison Whisperers because they can manipulate their poison without having to find an active source. However, like Poison Projectors, each Poison Thinker can generate at most two kinds of poison gas, and it differs from one to the next. [Effective partners: Poison Whisper] Quote: Voice Sub-Class: Elemental BreathElemental Breath attacks are the most common of the Elemental Classes, held primarily by Hunters and less often by Organizers. The only Corrupted capable of breath attacks are those with Elemental Breath Voices. Though the Breath attacks are more limited than the other Elemental classes, they are still very powerful and their potentials are far beyond those of non-Corrupted Kyn. Fire Breath - Rather simple, flames expelled from the mouth. They can come out as a concentrated blast in the form of a fireball, and in that form will cause more damage at greater range. They can also be expelled in a longer, shorter jet that can wash over multiple close foes. They have greater potential than the fire breath of any non-Corrupted Kyn. A fireball may be used to light a fuel source for a Fire Whisperer to manipulate, in place of where a Fire Thinker or Fire Projector might be used. [Effective partners: Fire Whisper] Poison Breath - This is very similar to the Fire Breath Voice. It comes in two forms: One is a seep of poison gas expelled from the mouth that washes over the area in front of the Corrupted using it, and the other is a solid ball expelled toward an object that will break open and spread the poison everywhere upon collision. The Kyn with the Voice gets only one kind of poison, and they don't get to choose the kind. Those who breathe mustard gas, chlorine, phosgene, miasma, and nerve gas are usually forced to hunt alone and live on the outskirts of a village, for safety's sake; an accidental exhalation of poison could kill whole families, after all. A Poison Breather cannot be killed by his or her own poison. Since they cannot keep up the source constantly, they are good in combination with Poison Whisperers, but not as effective as Fire Breathers are with Fire Whisperers. [Effective partners: Poison Whisper] Gale Breath - Similar to Project Gale, this Voice is extremely powerful but does not carry a great amount of cutting power. It is excellent at repelling foes and a Gale Breather may be placed at a defensive point and used to throw foes back away from the structure in need of defense if they get too close. They do not have the versatility of Project Gale, and so they are normally restricted to Organizer or Hunter status. Because they have so little control over their gales, Gale Breathers cannot create tornadoes when they work together. [Effective partners: None] Quote: Voice Sub-Class: Shade ClassShade Class Voices are generally Organizer Voices and are ineffective in open battle. They are useful, however, for defense, ambushes, and guerilla warfare, and often hide a small first wave attack to throw the enemy off its guard before more powerful fighters arrive. Shadow Whisper - Shadow Whisper is similar to other Whisper Voices. It allows for the manipulation of existing shadows, lengthening and darkening them to obscure something or lightening and shortening them to reveal. The shadows must remain anchored to the object that creates them, and if the light source creating the shadow disappears, so will the manipulated shadows. Shadow Melt - This is one of the ones used to sneak into enemy encampments and cause havoc before a proper first wave can enter. The user of this Voice can melt into surrounding shadow and sneak about, as long as there is an unbroken path onto which shadow is cast. While in shadow form, he can only be discovered if one notes the slightly darker area of shadow where he is moving and steps on him. Shadow Melters can be a force to be reckoned with when working with a Shadow Whisperer. Project Illusion - While they do not use shadows, Illusion Voices are lumped into the Shade Class because they have similar effects, although they are more diverse and typically considered more powerful. Project Illusion is a Voice that allows the user to project an image of himself to fool an enemy. The illusion is non-corporeal; it has no body and when touched it will be undisturbed and whatever touched it will go straight through. It can, however, be made to seem like it is making noise when it speaks or moves. It takes great concentration to control its movements, so when it is used in battle it will often do less moving or mimic the actions of its creator. Illude - Illude is a tricky Voice that allows the user to become invisible. It takes continuous concentration to keep it up, so it is usually only used when it is necessary to move in the open. As long as concentration is not broken, the user can move while invisible. Hide - Considered a more powerful form of Illude, this Voice also takes continuous concentration. It allows the user to hide himself, others, and a number of objects, though it becomes more draining the more mass one tries to Hide. Unlike Illude, things can only be Hidden if they remain stationary. The moment a Hidden person or thing moves, its illusion is dropped, though it will remain up on anything or anyone who did not move. Disguise - This is a dangerous Voice, and Rikkashan makes a point of killing most of those born with it because he feels threatened by them. Corrupted with Disguise can cloak themselves with the guise of anyone they have seen, though keeping up the ruse requires excellent acting. Of course, Rikkashan does not want anyone to impersonate him. The person's voice will also be copied, as long as the Corrupted with Disguise has heard it, along with scent if the Corrupted has smelled it. It requires continuous concentration and will fail if said concentration is broken. Quote: Physical VoicesPhysical Voices are interesting. Many of them are perpetually active and exponentially increase one aspect of a Corrupt's physical strength, whether it be upper body strength, lower body strength, speed, or something else. They can also be something far stranger, like Deimos and Luna. These Voices cannot be traded or stolen. Jupiter - This Voice augments the body's strength and increases the mass and density of the Corrupted. A Corrupted with the Jupiter Voice is very large, very heavy and very strong, capable of lifting things that really just weren't made to be lifted. Like gigantic trees. Jupiterians are not terribly useful in open combat because they're a bit slow, but when they take a point that will funnel others toward them they can be devastating. Most often Jupiterians are female and will either be Worshippers or members of the Traders Class. Mercury - This Voice augments speed. A Mercurian can move dangerously quickly, but in truth the Voice is much weaker than its incredibly rare brother Voice, Water-Walk. Mercury grants enormous speed and increased endurance to a Corrupted, but not on the level of Water-Walk. They can run at speeds that make them no more than a blur, even up to 200 miles per hour, and can stop and turn on a dime, which makes them hard to catch. They can only keep this up for an hour or two, though, and if they overextend their strength they can be injured by the G-forces they create. They are usually males, and are Organizers used to scout and Worshippers that bolt behind the enemy to surround them. Mars - This Voice magnifies upper body strength. Martians have incredible power behind their claws and fists, able to punch straight into solid rock and pummel stone. It also augments the strength of skin, scales, and bones; it is as if their entire bodies are covered in armor and their bones are reinforced steel. Usually female Hunters and Worshippers. Deimos - This Voice allows a Corrupt to turn her arms and tail into sharp blades and sharp spikes, and it amplifies her strength at the shoulder to help her punch through armor. A Deimosian's strength is magnified, not nearly so much as a Martian's, but the true strength comes in the razor-sharp blades and the long, deadly spikes she can create. This Voice has never been witnessed in a male, and the females who have it are almost exclusively Worshippers. Luna - This is another transforming Physical Voice, but it is rather different from Deimos. Another group that falls to female Worshippers, Luna is a dangerous long-range power. The hand claws of Lunes can become quite long and sharp and very strong, and they can be fired off of the fingers at high speed. Quite accurate, Lunes are often used to snipe foes from atop buildings. After a claw is fired, it grows back in a matter of seconds, ready to fire again. More experienced Lunes can grow longer, stronger, sharper nails and fire them faster and more accurately. Other Voices These voices are not particularly rare and do not fall into any special sub-class.
Project Thought - Not a part of the Elemental Projection or Elemental Thought classes, this is actually employed by Oral Caretakers. Thought Projectors can send detailed images and scenes directly into the minds of targets around them, putting them into a trance-like state. The projection can be refused by the targets if they do not wish to enter that state. It is used to supplement storytelling.
Blessing - Any Corrupted born with Blessing is destined to become a Raiser. While Raisers are the lowest rank of the society, they are actually held quite in esteem in Corrupt society. This is because it is their very important job to care for eggs and hatchlings! Blessing is a Voice that comes in three types. The first and most common form of Blessing is used to identify a hatchling's Voice. The second form helps the hatchling to unlock and use that Voice for the first time, and the third form is very special indeed. The third form of Blessing can be very helpful when two friends use a blood bond to trade Voices. Normally, the Corrupts are inexperienced with their new Voices and must train them all over again. With a Raiser with the third form of Blessing mediating the trade, the experience gathered with the Voice travels across the blood bond as well!
Recovery - A Corrupted with Recovery joins the Trader-Class as a Nurse, subordinate to a Healer. Recovery helps to speed up healing processes and assists in numbing pain to aid in the use of Regenerate by a Healer. Simple enough. A highly trained Nurse with Recovery may even be able to reduce fevers and cure or treat illness.
Regenerate - Regenerate grants a Corrupted status as a Healer, one of the Trader-Class. Regenerate is considerably more powerful than Recovery, and it can even heal crippling injuries, regenerating dead tissue into new flesh. However, once a limb is torn off or amputated, it cannot be regenerated in any fashion. If a Corrupted loses a limb, a prosthesis is usually made for him or her by a Mineral Whisperer instead.
Summon Rain - Alone, this is merely a Traders-Class Voice. It is used by farmers to summon isolated rainclouds to create rainy patches over their crops to water them effectively. However, when many of them assemble and work together they can summon powerful thunderstorms. Of course, these storms amplify the powers of Gale Projectors and Lightning Projectors. [Effective partners: Summon Rain, Project Gale, Project Lightning]

A Corrupted Dictionary As you've probably noticed by now, the Corrupted Kyn seem to have their own way of saying certain things. There are phrases within the society that, for the Kyn mainland, are entirely unknown.
Bound Tongue: An insulting name for the human and bonded Kyn language. There are very few Corrupted that are able to form this language successfully - Rikkashan and Tigris being the most prominent and likely to use it.
Man-Child: Refers to Aedan. It is considered a derogatory term for all humans and is typically used for any Rider bonded to Otherkin-- even in the cases of the two that aren't human.
Man-Creature: The other name used to refer to humans, this one less derogatory. Corrupt Kyn never refer to a human as a human, only as "Man-Creature" or "Man-Child"
Otherkin, Kin: Corrupted term for the non-Corrupt, bonded and feral Kyn on the mainland. They do not consider them to be Kyn at all, but rather Kin-- related, but not truly dragons.
True Kyn: Corrupted term for themselves. They believe they are the master race, the true and rightful dragons. The propaganda of their Emperor and the mighty powers of their Voices only validate this. They believe that they were banished because the Man-Child feared the power of True Kyn.
True Language: The Corrupted language, which is predominantly short, sharp vocalizations that range from noises similar to chirps and barks, down to hisses and growls. It can be assumed that, due to the lack of vocalizations under most circumstances, the language is largely supported by body language and physical posturing as can be seen with feral Kyn.
Unbound Tongue: The language of the feral Kyn on the mainland, who do not speak the same language as the bonded Kyn and their partners. This language is similar to the Corrupted dialect, which is most likely where its roots stem from.
Voice: Voices are the Corrupted equivalent of magic. While they cannot read magic tomes, Corrupted are born with one Voice, which they can train to be much more powerful than any Kyn magic. A Voice can range from simple telepathy to powers like Rikkashan's Final Summons. Any Corrupted breath attacks require them to be born with that specific Voice.
