I don't think I know too many. Well, I've seen a few, but most of them are in Led Zeppelin and AC/DC cover bands, haha...

Gabriela from "Rodrigo and Gabriela" is pretty sick...
And I dunno if Patti Smith counts as a "shredder", but she's awesome nonetheless.

Chaos A.D. led zep and ACDC=/=shredding and thanks skye You just dissed Led Zeppelin. I'm just pointing that out so you will be ready for all the responses you're about to get about how how little musical taste you have. Jimmy Page is a pretty good guitarist, and saying he can't shred is a pretty bold statement that I hope you're prepared to defend. Shredding is just technically advanced guitar playing. It's not necessarily connected with a certain genre of music, such as metal, if that's what you were thinking. I personally don't care what you think. I'm just warning you. I'm out.

I've always considered shredding to just be technically advance guitar playing...Although a lot of people seem to hold the belief that it's soloing... Whatever. Point is, I'm sure she could "shred" if she wanted to! xd

So I wouldn't exactly call rumba strumming shredding. xd Although it is quite tricky to get the hang of. Ps, your sig rocks. lol
