I beleive this to be the only great card this series has, and I will obtain one.

I think that jhiora is also good...and idk if I spelt that right, but anyway, it is really good, think about it, suspend a....akroma, or any fatty, and drop it 4 turns later for 2 mana...and if you have cards like jhoiras timebug and clockspinning and stuff, and then it just gets crazy. mrgreen

it's alright, but you have to play with two colors so you have to dela with the possible anoyance on trying to get it out i the first place, then you have to wait to even get the big card you want to use.

With this card you're giving every one of your creatures almost every possible ability for combat.

its called izzet... stare the U/R guild in ravnica, turn 3 you can play it, either with the bounce guild land card (izzet boilworks) or with a mountain, island, and other land...

again, first you need to get those cards to easily bring out that card and then you have to get ahold of a big card to use. If done perfectly, yes it's great, but it depends too much on everything going right.

glittering wish.

Have any of you seen project X? Glittering wish just made that deck exactly 4 times more reliable.

Other than that, negation pact may peak at a high price.

GG. Can't wait to get a playset for mine; I love having options, and in Project X, like String_Theory said, its insane. Fetch a Heirarch or Glare vs. Aggro, an extra Saffi, Congregation at Dawn for all the combo pieces, or Putrefy/Mortify for some pesky creature/enchantment/artifact. Also, insurance if they Extirpate your Saffi. I've tested the build with Wish and its just soo insane (if you want listage, PM me).

And Akroma's Memorial depends on you getting seven mana sources and the card, which would mean that you would most likely not have any creatures to use it with because you needed lands to play the card instead of creatures.

There's plenty of ways to instantly bring out artifacts and plenty of ways to add more mana to your pool. rolleyes

But then you need to get those things either instead of creature or you get both other ways to add mana or instantly bring it out and creatures which would then require for everything to go right which is what the supposed problem with Jhoira is.

There are better things to do with 7 mana. I mean Aggro doesn't need it, Control can just play its win con, and Combo is obviously not gonna use it. Its okay in casual, but for tournament decks there are better options.
As for Jhoira in my opinion she is a little to slow, and teferi would kill a deck based around her.

The mana problem with Jhoira is that it calls for specific mana, Akroma's memorial is just 7 colorless. Alot easier to bring out. For combat purposes it's an amazing card.

akroma's memorial is a "pretty" card, its almost useless though. To be honest, i think the only "quality" cards are the grandeur legends. More specifically Korlash, and the white one. I would much rather play either of those, and take control of the game by turn 4, than play akroma's memorial and hope that my opponent isn't holding a mana leak. I'm sorry, it is WAY too slow. Good cards are playable cards, Akroma's Memorial is not a good card. As was stated before. It looks and seems amazing in casual or even limited, but constructed it is a flop. I doubt you will see it in any deck that is a top 50 in any constructed event, on the other hand, i could honestly play Jhoira turn 1, and activate her, and guarantee that my Akroma, Angel of Fury will hit play by turn 4. Hmmmm.....Akroma, Angel of Fury or Akroma's Memorial and hope nobody around is running wrath of god (extremely overplayed in my meta)

Jhoira is easier to get out because she costs so much less mana. Akroma's Memorial is alot harder to get out because it is seven mana. Sure, any deck can play it, but what deck will want to? Control can just play a win condition who doesn't even need augmentation, and any decent aggro build will have either won or lost before it drops this card. Sure, in casual games it is most likely a backbreaker, but as has been said it is just that: a casual card.

I think its kind of funny how you think its easier to bring out a 7 mana artifact than a 3 mana creature. Have you SEEN the manafixing in the current Standard? If your deck can't drop Jhoira turn 5 (Remand/Delay backup obviously) then you are not running a good manabase.
