Is there anyone else here who would like to play in a neo-renaissance
transhuman game?
Essentially civilization fell in the star system after people got too obsessed with their ideas of perfection, mostly turning on themselves to alter, changing themselves signifiantly. The civilization is returning after about a century of relatively low technology (about current tech for the masses, with "relic tech" from before the fall for the elite of society.) They rediscover certian aspects of the technology they lost and so start re-exploring their system. [/most basic plot summary]

I'm debating about a character too. Do I want one similar to the RP character, or do I want one completely different? I think I'm leaning toward someone completely different. ^_^

Well...I checked out the thread, and...I'm really not sure about basing it on the dice-rolling. Are you following the rules of any edition of D&D or tabletop? I really wanna know, because none of the rp's I've been in that featured that system in combat or for character creation have used it for anything more than a one-dimensional aesthetic...now, if we're following D&D, or using a combat system with rounds and turns, that's fine, but I'm not joining unless it's strictly kept on that ruleset...
