Kale jumped out of Emer's car, bolting threw the grass of the park, jumping into the swing his belly on the seat, extending his arms and legs as he swung back and forth. He laughed as he came to a skidding stop a puff of dust coming up around his feet. He looked around then running over to the jungle gym, quickly climbing up the side of the toy.

Ala was lounging on the top of the jungle gym, almost half asleep, when the other head poked its way up. She was a bit startled, having been lost in thought. "Oh, hey." She peered down to see where her dragon had gone to and found Bob sound asleep at the base of the jungle gym and grinned.

Kale started a little seeing the girl his eyes going huge as he spotted her. "Hi. I'm sorry, I didn't see you. I'm not disturbing you am I?" He mummred. He hadn't seen her or her dragon... He now noticed the dragon curled up at the base. How had he missed that? Oh well.

"Hmm? Oh, no. I was just thinking..." She felt that she thought much better when her feet weren't on the ground. Must be some strange koala connection there. Or she was just wierd. Your pick. She noticed his gaze go towards Bob. "That's Bob and I'm Ala."

The greaffie boy leaned back so he sat on a bar with his back to post. "I am Kale. My dragon is still in an egg though, so I ahven't named him yet. Mine is going to be a wayvern, what kind is yours?"

"You're getting a dragon, too?" She eyed the boy for a moment. "You must be from D-corp, then, huh? So'm I." She thought on wyvern for a long moment. She'd heard that somewhere, but from where? "Bob's a brass dragon."
"So, whatcha doin'?"

Kale nodded happily, "Yeah, we live in an aprtment that is attached to all the rest of the places in D corp." He looked around after the second question and shrugged. "Mom brought me here to play. She kept mutterting to herself about needing more fresh air and sunshine."

"Oh, really?" She'd seen those apartments and had heard that teachers and staff lived there, but she hadn't known that some kids lived there too. She supposed it made some sense. Maybe his mom was a teacher?
"Oh," was her reply to the second statement. This park wasn't too terribly far from her own house and she'd walked here (without her mother's knowledge). She didn't figure that her mom'd find out for a long while. Her mom was always busy with the twins... she never had time for Ala anymore. And the backyard wasn't any fun because of all the critters that lived at the Ledell household that had been forced outside because of their behavior. Here, at the park, it was calm and quiet, something Ala hardly ever got to experience anymore.

Kale chuckled and shrugged hanging upside down off of the bars his shirt falling down showing his cream colored stomach. And he started swaying back and forth. "She says I take after her to much, being a computer geek. Though I am not entirelly sure what a computer geek is. See that is her over there on the picknik table with her laptop. She does almost all of her work from there. Once we went on a trip to one of her.... oh what did she call them people.... clients? Yeah that's it, clients. Anyway she does some kind of thing for them on the computer. So alot of time when she is on her computer I am on mine. Though I guess I really have two, one to play on and one to play with. I like messing around with the wires and circutes and things." He paused to take a breath and then blushed. "Sorry sometimes I go on for too long. I just start talking and then it's hard for me to stop sometimes."

Alaqua just blinked at Kale's long speech. She wasn't entirely sure what a computer geek was either, but it sounded like something you wouldn't want to be. "There's wires inside computers?" She'd not known that. The only computer at her house was her mother's and she could only get on it occasionally for homework and stuff.

"Oh yeah, computers have wires and chips and all sorts of things inside of them. I love to take them apart and rearrange the stuff inside. What about you? What are some of the things you like to do?" Kale grabbed another bar and pulled himself upright and grinned over at the girl.

"I like to climb." Ala stated, which was probably a bit obvious, seeing how they were perched on the top of the jungle gym. "I climb trees at home and sometimes here, but it's fun to climb other things every now and then as well."
"I also practice fighting with my sister. The battle teachers at D-corp can be mean!" The girl paused for a moment, hoping that this boy's mother wasn't one of them. She couldn't see Shanara very well behind that computer screen and across this distance, but the lady didn't look like her battle teachers...

"You have a sister? That is so cool! I don't, though we are always doing things with Orpheus and Geia and Ter so much that she says that they might as well be my brothers." He heard the click of Emer's laptop, and he turned his head to see her start gathering up thier stuff. "I think I have to go. It's been really great meeting you. It would be fun to get together again."
