Most of you probably do not know this, but France recently held elections.
There were two canidates.
A woman of the Socialist party.
And a man who was of the more conservitive party, whatever that may be.
Well.
He was well hated.
He was extremely friendly with Bush, and kisses Bush's a** all the time.
The French like to call him 'an American with a French passport'
Un Americán avec un passeport Français.
Anyway.
He somehow got elected.
And there's been riots in the streets of Paris since yesterday. People are even throwing rocks at police.
It's too bad The_Crimson_Bolshevick isn't around, I know he'd love this story. 3:
So, discuss.

In defense of this new guy (and, mind you - I don't give two shits about France's government and I'm certainly no big fan of our President), those damned Europeans will riot over anything. Especially the French. Didn't they riot a year or so ago because they signed a law saying that employers could fire their employees?
That's why I'm glad we don't live in a welfare state (though we could stand to do better).

Yep. Just rioted over anything... Just because they couldn't afford bread. Psh.
