Centered on a huge fountain, this courtyard links all the clans together and houses the Clan Hall.

An elderly man in faded blue overalls cared for the flower patches and mowed the lawns around the cobblestone plaza, with the fountain in the middle.

*Near fountain on the east side of it, Nekage stood that day waiting. He remained leaning against the stone art piece as water gently flowed down it's sides. Nekage fixated his gaze forwards in wait of the planned meeting, as well as arrangement. It had been about a week since Chao's hold, and Nekage leaned his head silently as he remembered the words spoken onto him by Lord Ulwe himself**Flashback*
"Very good my boy, ho, ho, very good indeed. It's nice to know that we have ninjas that are loyal to this village and the old ways of the Ichijin still."*Nekage didnt like his way of speaking. To him, it was like a mocking version of sarcasm that if Nekage had it his way, he would have knocked Uwin down right then and there*"Very well...once you apprehend Chaos, and get him out of our affairs, within a week from then, at the clan fountain....There Heartless Angel is where you shall be met by the Ichijin"*With that, Ulwe walked off as his long elegant white robes fluttered in the afternoon winds*
*Nekage looked at the sun as it began to descend from the heavens above him and the fountain*
"...Near 4....What keeps you Ichijin?...." *Nekage thought to himself as he pulled a loose strand of hair out of the way of his face

The sound of footsteps could be heard clearly on the cobblestone path as three white robed figures walked towards the fountain. Nekage could identify all three of them from previous encounters. Anihlur and Rhika were in front, followed by the Blacksmith in back. It seemed that the smith Azure brought to the village was actually an Ichijin...
"I have been told that you wish to wield Testament."
Anihlur began as they all stood around the front of the fountain.

*Nekage rotated standing tall before the new arrivals form Ichijin
"...Like you need to ask...your superior, Lord Ulwe should has disclosed this information to you already now....Dont ask stupid questions that have already been answered...."

*Nekage peered at them as he faced head on the next session of his ever going training. This time, from a higher, and possibly more experienced shinobis then even Azure himself*
"...So...The blk smith of our village has been in alliance with the Ichijin no?....I must say, your lil tools have been quite an annoyance to say the least...."

"The Ichijin were the first to create weapons to fight the other clans for leadership. We learned well the power of tools in war."
The smith replied. He unfurled a large piece of cloth on the ground and tossed to Nekage a basic steel training sword.
"Rhika will teach you the ways of the blade, head her well."
Rhika picked up another training sword from the bundle and raised it up, taking her own stance.
"Let's see what you know already."

"....."
*Nekage bent down to pick the blade up from the ground wence the smith tossed the blade. Nekage took hold of it's hilt and rose tall once more. Looking down at it, Nekage gripped it's hilt a lil bit tighter to try and gain a feel for the blade itself. Nekage took a step back before drawing the blade up up with his right hand to position it so that the blade remained at about eye lvl with him, as it pointed out like that of a stinger. His left hand remained out stretched and calm to remain on a defensive stance, as well as keep even distancing between him and his target. Bending slightly, Nekage shuffled his left leg forwards along the ground slightly and stood ready*
"......."

Rhika raised her sword up above her, the hilt bent slightly so as to point its base at Nekage's feet. Her stance was known in European lingo as the "Hawk Stance". This deceptive stance allowed for coverage of one's space with sweeping downward strokes. She shifted her own feet to begin a slow circle to Nekage's left, looking for an opening.

*Nekage remained motionless as he was circled by his opponent, but as Rihika went to a 90 degree from Nekage's current position, Nekage Swooped his sword down/behind him as he grabbed the hilt swiftly with his other hand and lunged at Rihika with a quick upward slash from the ground. With the sword's tip touching the ground as he swooped it downwards, a bit of drit/gravel traveled up with the blade as Nekage swung*

With the aid of gravity, Rhika's downward sword stroke managed to catch Nekage's sword. The clang of steel on steel resounded in the courtyard as the two blades struck each other in a clash of sparks. Rhika took the initiative in the deadlock and leaned forward, shifting the weight of their lock to Nekage.

*Well, this was a first. For the first time in a long while, there was a expression of struggle on Nekage's end. Though Nekage was proficient in a few fields as close combat, Chakura, and long range, swordsmenship was a field that Nekage was severely lacking in. Nekage pushed back, but was not very successful since his skills weren't on par with. Nekage had only dabbled in the field, but nvr got very far. Seeing no point in the constant push, Nekage slashed downwards again to put the swords off from their current lock, and push back from the target before him*
"Drat...."

Kei stood on the edge of the large fountain watching Nekage and Rhika duel; it had already become evident that Nekage lacked skill when it came to the sword. Kei let his hand caress the hilts of his falchions, both of which protruded from slits on the back of his yukata.
He itched to draw the blades but contented himself by drawing a kozuka knife and twirling it as he watched the pair.

As Nekage moved the swords down further, Rhika shifted her weight away from her pushing foot and pivoted, using her other leg to hold her weight and allow for a quicker turn. She spun slightly to Nekage's left, again. Their deadlock broke as their swords were removed from each other. Her light foot came down and her weight shifted to it to allow her to push back, bringing her about two-three feet away from Nekage. She raised her arms back above her head again as she reassumed the Hawk Stance.
"Again."

"...You people dont need to tell me twice...."
*Nekage took hold of his blade, and quickly took his stance again. This time, Nekage's approach was a bits different as he raised his blade once again to meet Rhika's blade again. This time, Nekage took the blade, and took hold of it's hilt with both his hands and raised it so that the blade was once more lvl with his eyes, and the point outwards from him as he prepared for another charge*
"Even if I lack in this field, I'll soon take Testament, as well as the skills to wield it, and show you Ichijin...."

Rhika changed her stance as Nekage readied himself for a charge. She let her blade fall down to her side and become slightly parallel to the ground, the tip pointing away from her, dipping down toward the earth. She was in the perfect angle to do an upward slice across the body. If performed quickly enough, it could deflect a straight charge, pushing the blade up and away from the body.
