___Cusi stepped into the class, awaiting the entry of yet another student. Study Hall wasn't really anything, simply a chance for the student to study up on the subject or item of their choice using the extensive library and computer lab within. She sat upon the desk, sweeping her long black hair out of her eyes. Cusi crossed her legs, tapping the back of her heel upon the wood while leaning back on the palm of her right hand. She chewed her bottom lip, methodically running things through her mind. Cusi swung her hands in front of her and clasped them, intertwining the fingers and pulling on her lifted knee, holding herself in-place.
___The studying and relaxing would help the Specimen deal with the stress their brain and body was feeling from boosted mental thinking. Intelligence would give them better brain capacity, Dexterity would give faster analyzing, and well anything else would hopefully coat their tongues with silver. She sighed and looked at the clock once more, why was she always so early? Not much longer, not much longer. The young girl comforted her insecurities internally, not much longer ...

Flouncing into the classroom, Imelda took a seat in Study Hall. She wasn't really sure what her mother wanted her to learn here, but she'd been given a couple of books to read, so... maybe that was it. Raven had given her books that were mostly boring, but it wouldn't be that bad to sit here for too long, right? After all, Immy had brought her mp3 player with her dancing music and one of the books had pretty pictures of dancers and there were some other pretty things...
Then again, it could get boring pretty fast, couldn't it? How long was she expected to stay here? Humming to herself, Imelda considered the first book, tracing her fingers over the figures of the dancers.

___Cusi smiled at the young girl, admiring her delicate dress. She brightly hopped off the desk and walked over, checking her list quickly to make sure she had the right student. Her gold curls glinted gently, and Cusi sighed, her teenage admiration of anything she didn't have kicking in. Not exactly jealousy, but demure awe. She envied the Specimens, though not enough to resent them, because she knew someday they'd all be the most beautiful creatures in the world. ___"You must be Imelda!" Cusi clapped her hands together with delight. "I am Miss Medina, and I'll be presiding this Study Hall!" She was sure her enthusiasm leaked through, and blushed a little because of it. Early morning energy had random effects upon her person. She took her pen and quickly made a mark next to her name. On-Time! What a very very good quality in a student.
___Cusi absentmindedly touched her own hair and began to stroke it gently, before remembering what she was supposed to do. Clearing her throat she smiled and began the basic formalities. ___"In this class you can study, read, draw, anything you really want. As you can see Study Hall is inside the Library so there's a large assortment of books, and the computer lab down the hall. I'll be more than happy to issue you a Library Card if you like," she motioned to the desk with various stamps and books, "-other than that, just let me know! Loud noises aren't allowed though, so please keep music or anything other to a minimum!".

Glancing up at the teacher for a moment, Imelda gave her a slight smile before glancing back at her book and then up to the teacher again. "So I can do... whatever I want as long as I'm quiet in here and I don't bother anybody or do anything wrong?" Imelda asked, considering this for a long moment. This was a good class. She could do anything she wanted to do.
And she was the only other person here-- the only one to be around the teacher! This was good. This was very good. This meant that she could have the teacher's... Miss Medina's... attention. It meant that Immy was the center of this classroom's world.
Oh, this was a very good class.

___Cusi nodded as she returned the child's smile gently. She went to the desk and pulled the chair out, standing there for a moment. She turned and picked up some chalk and turned her back to the young girl, writing in large cursive her name and the class beneath it. Holding open her personal teaching journal she looked back and forth between it and her writing. Carefully jotting down each note, she began writing her own personal steps and tips for studying that she'd used while abroad. Read more than once, don't skim, look up words you don't know. All the basics. Her eyes fluttered back and forth, and she tapped the chalk as she hesitated, re-reading a section to make sure she got it right. Satisfied, she placed the chalk back and patted her hands on her skirt.
___Realizing that she'd probably left white hand marks upon her skirt, she began to smack at the cloth quickly, creating white puffs in the air. Cusi smiled and placed upon the table a tin of crayons, pens, coloured pencils, and other arts and crafts items. ___"If you get bored, feel free to be creative. I also know quite a bit so if you have a question please just ask."

Well, this was good, wasn't it? She had the teacher's attention and she could do whatever she wanted. "Thank you~" Imelda cooed before glancing back at her book.
It was strange-- figures like these were glorious, long and pretty. Would Imelda ever get to be like that? She felt so small sometimes, compared to these gorgeous creatures. But that was the way the world worked, right? We all wanted something we couldn't have, right?
Well... not everyone. Obviously. But... "Do you dance?" Imelda asked, glancing up at the teacher.

___Cusi shied slightly at the girl's question. Dance? Well it was a form of creativity. Unfortunately she wasn't very classically instructed, and only knew the dances her father had taught her in their camp. ___"Well, I ah, know the box step." She sternly placed her arms up and began the forward, side, back, and again steps. Her left eye squinted slightly, counting the steps as she went. "I was never very good at it." She confessed, and remembering she was a teacher added, "But I never gave up, and I did my best!"
___Cusi played with a crack in the desk and smiled, "I can do certain cultural dances though ... Like Tonantzin, a dance for Mother Earth. My mother used to dance for me a long time ago." Cusi felt her eyes mist, and smiled a little blearily. "What types of dance would you like to do?"
