The biscuit that Alice nibbled on was squishy, like it hadn't been cooked thoroughly. Alice normally would've complained, but she had grown used to her mother's strange cooking, and was very hungry anyhow.
She looked around for a moment before daintily licking her fingers, indulging in a rudeness that was new to her. The dough was slightly oily with butter, and tasted delicious.
Her musket sat beside her legs, nicely shined but not used in awhile. Perhaps Alice was growing out of it.
But she doubted it, as she was planning on going hunting later on in the day. She never shot any animals, only targets, but it was something to pass the time and it was fun.
It was also embarrassing, though, as it was hardly lady-like.

A loud belch echoed through the lines of trees as the freak vampire boy passed by, wiping the remnants of his lunch off upon his sleeves. Fresh blood was so much better then that transfusion crap that his mother kept at home, especially if it was still warm.
Jan let out another loud burp before skulking into the woods, keeping himself in the cover of the foliage.
"I spy... I spy... Where the hell are people today? Fack."
What fun it would be to jump out at some person innocently passing by, especially if it was a girl; they scared the easiest. Now all he had to do was wait silently, something far easier said then done.
