This is taken from Janet and Stewart Farrar's book, A Witches' Bible.
This is meant for group ritual, but I'm sure you solitaries can modify it to work for you, I know I have! ^_^
Preperation
The High Priestess needs to select two women who, with herself, will represent the Triple Goddess and figure out who will play which role.
A Crown of Lights is made and put on the altar, which will be used by the Mother. This can be made from candles (any size) and are lit during the rite, but make sure ther can't wobble (they say kitchen foil works well for this). I'm sure you can figure something else out if this isn't an option, such as a small wreath that has lights (that sell those near x-mas, but you might be able to still get them, try wal-mart) Also, birthday cake candles apparently work very well.
A bundle of straw about 1 foot to 18 inches long with a straw crosspiece for arms, should be dressed in womens clothing (dolls dress works well or just cloth pinned around it) This should be on the altar before the ritual starts.
You also need a phallic wand, which is a wand about the length of the doll and has a large bulb at the end (pinecone perahps) and also may have two different colored ribbons spiraling down. Put this on the altar beforehand.
Two unlit candles should also be on the altar. A bundle of spring greenery (spring flowers) for the Maiden, while you'll need a dark-colored scarf or cloak for the Crone. The broom (besom) should also be set up at the altar.
You need a cauldron with a candle burning inside it (light before ritual) is set by the south candle. By the cauldron you need to 3-4 twigs of evergreen or dried vegetation such as holly, ivy, misyletoe, bay, rosemary or box.
Ritual
You do not Draw Down the Moon or involk the God and the Charge is not declaimed until later.
After the Witche's Rune, all the group people, including the High Priest and Priestess, dance back-to-back in couples, with arms hooked through each other's elbows. If you do not have a partner, you can dance alone, but should switch out with another so that they can dance with a partener at least for awhile. When the High Priestess decides that it has gone on long enough she ends it and everyone stands in a circle, facing inwards, while the High Priest stands in the center, with his back to the altar and the High Priestess stands in the center as well, facing him.
The HP (High Priest) gives the HPS (High Priestess) the 5-fold kiss and then she gives it to him. The HP takes the wand (regular wand) in his right hand and the scourge in his left and assumes the Osiris Position. He faces the altar as the HPS moves to the other side and faces him, involking:
"Dread Lord of Death and Ressurection,
Of Life within ourselves, whoe name is Mystery of Mysteries,
Encourage our hearts,
Let thy Light crystallize itself in our blood,
Fulfilling of our resurection;
For there is no part of us that is not of the Gods.
Descend, we pray thee, upon they servant and priest."
The HP steps to te side while the HPS and the women prepare "Brigid's Bed". They lay the doll and the phallic wand side by side in the center of the Cirlce, with the heads towards the altar. They put the two candlesticks on either side of the "bed" and light them.
HPs and women stand around the "bed" and say together:
"Brid is come--Brid is welcome!" (repeated three times)
The HP lays down his wand and scourge on the altar while the HPS summon the two selected women, and they assume their Triple Goddess roles. The Mother stands with her back to the altar and the HP crowns her with the Crown of Lights. The Maiden and the Crone arrange her hair becomingly (pretty like) and the HP lights the candle on the crown (or turns on the bulbs)
The Crone now stands beside the Mother, to her left and the HP drapes the shawl/cloak/scarf over her shoulders.
The Maiden stand to the Mother's right and the HP puts the bouquet of flowers/greenery into her hands.
The HP goes to the south, facing the women nd says:
"Behold the Three-Formed Goddess;
She who is ever Three-Maid, Mother and Crone;
Yet is she ever One.
For without Spring there can be no Summer,
Without Summer, no Winter,
Without no Winter, no new Spring."
The HP then delivers the Charge in its entirety, substituting "she, her, hers" for "I, me, my, mine."
When he finishes the Maiden takes up the broomstick and makes her way slowly deosil rounf the Circle, ritually sweeping it of all that is old and outworn. The Mother and the Crone walk behind her in a stately procession. The Maiden the replaces the broom beside the altar and the three of them resume their places in front of the altar.
The HP turns and kneels before the cauldron and picks up each evergreen, one by one while setting fire to each one before setting it down beside the candle inside the cauldron. As he does so he says:
"Thus we banish winter,
Thus we welcome spring;
Say farewell to what is dead,
And greet each living thing.
Thus we banish winter,
Thus we welcome Spring!"
The HP goes to the Mother, blows out the candles or turns off the bulbs and removes it from her head. When he does this the Maid lays her bouquet beside the altar while the Crone does the same with her shawl/cloak/scarf.
The Great Rite is now enacted.
After Cakes and Wine a good game for Imbolg to play is the Candle Game. The men sit in a ring facing inwards while the women stand behind them. The men pass a candle deosil from hand to hand, while the women (without stepping inside the rin of men) lean forward and try to blow it out. When a woman succeeds she flicks the man who was holding it at the time with the scourge three times (lightly) and he gives her the 5-fold kiss in return, and then you start again!
My god this took forever to type up! Well, I'll most likely be doing two a week (posting the Sabbat rituals that is), maybe more if they're short. This is one of the longer one though. Hope this helps you all! ^_^
