 Tiffany lay carfully under a tree. She had earlier that day found herself rather tired, so she decided to find a nice, shady place to lay down. However, it is never simple with Tiffany. It had to be perfectly dirt-free, as to not get herself mess, with out any icky bugs, and grass long and soft enough to meet her standards.
After a few hours of searching, she had finally found a suitable place. At this point she was quite tired, and wanted some peace and quiet. For the most part, it wasn't a problum. The birds singing wasn't entirly unbearable, although if one began to disturb her she would scream at them, and they would fly away. Clever bird.
A nice, quiet, relaxing day, nothing to come and annoy Tiffany. Just peace, and quiet.

 "Weeeeeeeeee!" Came the screaming voice of a young mare, bursting out of the forrest on what looked like amazing speed.
Obviously, she gained that from her mother.
Today was such a perfect day. It was a soft, sunny...happy day and no one could ruin her good mood. Well, actually literally NO ONE could ruin her good mood because nothing really bothered Epesi. Except when others told her she was annoying. That bothered her. Because she knew she wasn't. She was merely just expressing herself.
So, with no one in sight...or at least no one within a five foot radius, Epesi spun around in a tornado of circles, laughing and screaming at the top of her lungs.
"Ahahahahahaha! Fun, fun, fun! Weeeeeeeee!"
Now, the newly grown mare had no idea what meeting was in store for her today. But that ignorance only made her laugh louder.
"Oh, I'm getting dizzy now..." Epesi finally said, but didn't stop.

Tiffany began to slowly slip into sleep, such a nice day. Her eyes began to close, and she breathed in the warm spring air again, and it cintributed to the heavy feeling of sleep.
Suddenly, it was all shattered. Tiffany's eyes sprang open, and she felt herself jump. As she regained focus and began to grasp what was happening, she saw one thing: A stupid, ugly mare spinning around like an idiot, screaming her lungs out.
"What are you DOING?" she screamed, unable to hold in her anger, having no reason to let the mare like her. "Do you realize I am SLEEPING here you ignorant, horrid little creature" she couldn't hold herself together, she wanted to lash out so badly.
After a few deep breaths, however, she got up, regaining her composer. A lady should never burst out like that. Of course, she knew that she need not impress this creature, who clearly had NO respect for others, or for that matter, herself. Look at her, running and spinning like an immature filly, she should at least try to respect herself. Of course, maybe at the sight of Tiffany, she had decided that she was too low on the scale in comparason to even bother.
What a stupid decision. She would pay for taht, she would. "Will just go away?" She said angrily. "It's bad enough you woke me up, and it will take me forever to sleep again. So why are you still here? Do you have any IDEA who I am? Hmm? I am TIFFANY! The most BEAUTIFUL mare EVER. How DARE you cross me" she said, deciding to shut up before she got worked up again.

The sudden burst of a strange mare had even made Epesi jump. She jumped rather easily, actually...her mind usually on her games rather then the world whenever someone came up to her. The young mare had stopped her twirling to look at the mare that yelled at her.
She was indeed pretty, with such odd flowers in her hair, but geez...need she yell? Epesi was merely minding her own business, this wasn't her land...she could do whatever she wanted. Right? That's what she always believed. If this mare didn't like it, well then she could move!
"I'm twirling around in circles and having fun. What does it look like I'm doing?" The young mare asked, very friendly tone riding through her voice. Oh, Tiffany had gotten her talking...bad idea. Very BAD idea. "Duh. You're a silly creature. If you wanted to sleep then you could sleep you don't need to tell me that you're sleeping. I'm minding my own business and you yours, so why are you yelling at me? And don't call me ignorant and horrid. Because I'm not. I'm just Epesi. I'm a friendly, loving, newly grown mare who likes to express herself in different ways then normal! Is that such a big deal? Because if that was a problem, then you know you could just move."
Epesi finally stopped for a moment, and nodded. Not even taking a breather, she stared at Tiffany. She was pretty, but she was conceited. And wierd. Now she acted like she was perfect. Wow...
"Me? Go away? You cannot just tell someone to go away, you have to have a good reason to have someone go away. And your reason is stupid because I wasn't bothering you in any way, I was merely laughing and dancing to myself. And if it takes you forever to sleep again, you have sleeping issues because I fall asleep rather quickly myself. You know, when the moon is out and the night is alive, the day is dead. One shut eye and I'm out. Completely. Boom. Done."
Epesi paused, if only for a moment. So her name was Tiffany? Well, Tiffany get a taste of Epesi medicine! "Why am I still here? Well, I'm not leaving no matter what so you better get used to it. And Tiffany, eh? Well, hello Tiffany you are very pretty but you're not the prettiest one out there, my Momma is way prettier then you. Because she has personality too. And I am Epesi, not that good looking but that doesn't matter. I don't care how I look. How dare I cross you? Once again, lady I was MINDING MY OWN BUSINESS!"

Tiffany raised an eyebrow. She heard the mare talking. And talking. And talking. And talking. All of this information seemed to be buzzing around her head, and she couldn't even think of where to start.
"Ok, first of all, shut up. You are SO annoying. Must you rant on like that? Secound, you were NOT minding your own bussiness, you WOKE ME UP? Didn't your stupid mother, who by the way was NOT prettier then me, ever teach you that it is rude to cross your superiors, particularly to ANNOY one? Hmm?" she took a deep breath. Just that little rant had taken her breath, how could the stupid little mare go on so long?
"I CAN tell you to go away" she said angrily. "Because I was here first. And I will not leave because it took me hours to find a proper spot to nap, and I need things perfect. I don't CARE how you sleep, no one does. ANd plus, I am clearly better then you, so YOU should cater to me!" she finished, wondering if anything had sunk into the young mare
She wondered if she had said anything else. Honestly, she had barely caught any of it, it was like the little thing just kept on going and going and going. Tiffany pitied anyone who had to deal with this girl at all, but mostly she just pitied herself, because she was the one who obviously didn't deserve it, because she was well...Tiffany.

Epesi couldn't help but giggle at the mare's reaction to her words. Obviously she hadn't met anyone who talked a lot, poor thing. It was so much fun just running your mouth! So very fun indeed! But Tiffany's first words had gotten to the mare and she pouted.
"Shut up? Shut up? You cannot tell me to shut up because then I would have the right to say it back to you and you obviously wouldn't take that very well. I am NOT annoying, I just express myself, so you're the idiot for thinking so! I didn't see you there in the first place. So I couldn't have known I was bothering you so don't yell at me!"
The small mare didn't raise her voice at all, she kept in at the same soft and giggly tone that Mahiri had told her to keep at all times. "My Momma is not stupid, she's the smartest mare around and she's prettier then you because she HAS personality! I already said that! And you're not my superior, you cannot be my superior because I hardly even know you, Miss Tiffany! I'm NOT annoying!" Epesi huffed, but still tried her best to sound cheery.
"Well, then I'm still not leaving! I don't care what you say because this isn't your land this doesn't belong to you! So..." She stomped a hoof hard on the ground. "I'm staying! So deal with me! You're not better then me. Dad said that soquili like you hardly deserved to live, let alone talk to soquili like me. Careful and KIND! Ever think of being nice for once? Perhaps that would of helped you in your sleep rather then yelling at me!"
Geez. Annoying. No manners what-so-ever, lingered in this mare. Well, it appeared as though both Epesi and Tiffany had a lot of learning to do, and perhaps the two of them would teach each other!?! Perhaps?
"I bet I'm better then you because I have a family! Five siblings, parents, a bunch of aunts and uncles and a bunch of cousins! What do you have?"

Tiffany was beggining to get a head ache frome this little twirp. Chatter chatter chatter, was that all she could do? Tiffany had never met anyone so talkative, and she didn't fancy meeting another anytime soon, or ever.
"I am not an idiot, and you should shut up. Your mother must be ugly, because she created you" said Tiffany hostily. The mare really wasn't that unfortunette looking, but why should Tiffany care? Words that hurt the most were her specialty.
And you are very, very annoying. Nobody cares what you have to say, because you are a nobody. You clearly don't care what I have to say, and you clearly don't deserve me to even give you the light of day. And why won't you leave, honsetly. Do you enjoy being a mean person? Because if you think I am bad, how would you like it if you just wanted to sleep and some stupid, ugly mare came up to you and did nothing but complain and talk? You are a horrible mare" she said, once again going by her words-that-hurt-are-the-best policy.
Family? Tiffany thought for a secound, then stopped. Did she have a family? ....No, she didn't have a family. Not that she could remember, anyway. Stupid creatures had left her all alone, and Tiffany only had her ego to keep her company, and it was certainly a good friend.
"I have no family, and I am very happy I don't have any idiots to drag me down. I am sure your entire family is full of stupid soquili like yourself, and I pity the earth for having the lands tainted by some like yourself"

That mare. So...annoying. In her own way, of course. Anyone would say that Epesi herself was annoying, but she never thought so. And her parents certainly didn't. It was just a matter of opinion, and too the small mare...Tiffany was the annoying one.
"Don't call my mother ugly! I never called you ugly so you have no right to say that about her! You never met her and you cannot judge others by the way their children look. I mean, what about your mother? Was she ugly, because you're obviously the prettiest mare of all? And for all you know, my father could have been the one to make me so ugly as you put so nicely!" Epesi spat her words out, getting very irriatted. Never in her life had she wanted to get so upset...but some things just had to happen that way.
"Don't call me annoying either! Because I'm not calling you annoying! One cannot say bad things about another unless they have a reason to! And you don't have a legitamet reason! Nobody cares? Well, what about my five siblings? My parents? They care! At least that counts. I care what you say if you'd say it nicer! Perhaps you, Tiffany, could try saying something polite. That would help you make friends, you know. And like I said before, you spoke to me. I was minding my own business. I'm not leaving because you're telling me too."
The small mare shook her head slightly, pausing only for a minute to take in the whole situation. How could this be happening? Why? Was Tiffany just a test sent by someone like her Mother to teach her the hardships in life? No, aha...that's rather silly. Mahiri wouldn't do something so heartless. "I'm not mean, you have it mixed up. And honestly, if what you said happened to me, I'd move myself."
Tiffany's words didn't hurt as much as they pissed her off. Epesi normally, like both her parents, had a strong spine and didn't take what everyone said overly serious. But something about the way this mare spoke made the mare want to cry. Alone, of course...she never cried in public.
"No family?" Her words turned soft. No family for real? Why? Poor mare, she had no one in the world that cared for her like a mother or father should. "Family is not all that bad, you know. It's fun to have someone you know will always be there for you."

Tiffany stomped her hoof in frustration. Things were getting really repetative, really fast. Couldn't she understand taht sometimes you just need to get what Tiffany said because she said it, and she was ALWAYS right?
"I do have a legitimate reason, because one usually takes after one's parents. I don't know what my mother or father look liked, I havn't met either of them, but they must have been gorgeous. Anyway, I don't care whcih one of your parents were ugly, maybe both of them were" she said, trying to taske on as many subjects that had come up as possible.
"You are annoying, admit it. And you are mean. Why should I have to relocate myself because you came bursting in? Don't you know that if someone found a place first it is totally rude to bardge in? It isn't even like you are sleeping, you are just running around and disrupting people."
She shook her head, there was NO way any of this would penetrate the mare's thick skull. "And I am fine with having no family, I don't worry about having someone to care about me, because that is SUCH a waste of time. What does it matter if someone worrying about you, it is just a massive inconvinience to both. I accually consider myself quite lucky" she said, tossing a curl out of her face, and continued to glared at Epesi.

Copper colored eyes tore to the ground as she heard a hoof stomp. Funny, that didn't fit Tiffany at all. She didn't seem like the type to want to spoil her perfect pose and body. The stomping of a hoof seemed much more of a tomboyish thing. Something Epesi would do.
"Idiot." She mumbled under her breath, very quietly. Careful not to let the mare go off on her again.
The mare blinked. So how was not knowing your parents a legitimate reason? "You don't know whether your parents were ugly or not. Obviously, you just said so yourself." Epesi paused, what a perfect match these two were. Tiffany was so full of herself, she could go on for hours about how she was right...Epesi just loved to talk.
Dodging the rest of whatever she was saying about her parents, the small mare started to talk again. There was just no way she would let that brat win.
"I'm not mean. Your definition of mean is just seriously messed up. I didn't harm you...and according to what normal soquili think...being annoying isn't mean. So let's just say I was annoying. How in any way possible is that mean? How even, would you say I was mean? By barging in on your quiet time? I didn't even know you were there. Ignorant? Perhaps. Foolish? Perhaps. But...mean?"
It was now Epesi's turn to stomp her hoof. Gosh, she was ready to literally just walk away. But then that would mean that Tiffany wins. And no. That wasn't going to happen. "How about an apology? Would that work? I'm sorry I barged in on you. Won't happen again Ma'am." The small voice that Epesi held strong while talking had gone girly and quiet when she said her last words. If it was enough to get that mare to shut up.
"But what if you're in danger? Let's just talk hypothetically. What if you were about to fall off a cliff and no one gave a damn? Would you want family then? Would you want someone to love and care for you then? I happen to consider myself lucky, Miss Tiffany. For I have that protection. No matter where I go, I know someone in my family will be there for me." Epesi frowned. She had yet to meet her older siblings. But something told her that when she did, she'd know right away who they were.

Tiffany rolled her eyes at the mare. She saw her mumble something under her breath, but decided to let that slip. The stupid little thing clearly was too....well, stupid, to figure out that mumbling was rude.
"Fine, fine. But they must have been at least OK looking, I mean" she paused to giggle "they made me!" It was true, how could ugliness create such a work of art? They must have been wonderful soquili, full of love and kindness and beauty, and they passed it all down to their charming daughter.
"Well thank you for FINALLY accepting your idiocy. But as far as being mean, look at you know. You are fighting me when you were clearly wrong in the first place, and making me out as the villian!" she said, putting on her best 'wounded-mare' face.
She paused for a moment, would she accept the mare's apology? It sounded sincere, this mare was far too annoying and goody-goody to ever lie, or at the very least lie well. But honesty didn't really matter much to Tiffany, it really only mattered weather the crime was worthy of her forgivness. So, the mare had woken her up, been incredable annoying, and gone off on her about being mean. Lets see...worth it?
No way.
"I do not accept your apology Epesi. I understand you sincerly mean it and I commend you on your ability to accept your inferiority, but this crime was just far to vast for you to recive the grace of my acceptance. Maybe in a week or so, or if I forget. Or..." She got a brilliant idea that no mare of lesser intelligence than her could have possibly thought of "If you left. Then I would take back that you were annoying, and you are never to open your mouth in front of me again" she said, trying to make the offer desirable. "I will even give you a ...compli...compliment....complimentary beauty tip!" she said, trying to play with the mare's emotions.
Some might say Tiffany cruel, but really, she wasn't totally cruel. At the very least, she didn't always mean it. She just was so intent on being superior, that making others inferior was just part of her day. She honestly belived most everything she said, no matter how rediculous. But that was what being spoiled was all about, wasn't it?

Well, at least one arguement was won by her. Tiffany seemed to give in to the whole parents deal...if only just a little. Epesi just proved something, she hoped, to that stuck up mare. "They made you, but then you stole all their beauty. Because pretty soquili take their parents looks. So they're not pretty."
The small mare shook her head, keeping her words short and to the point. Obviously, talking long and annoyingly was only going to make the situation worse. Epesi just decided to play Tiffany's game. If anything, it would be kinda fun, wouldn't it?
"Oh, indeed. I'm the biggest idiot out there. Terribly sorry for being so rude earlier. You're the victim here, and I'm just too afraid to admit that. I'm afraid..." She paused. Eh, lying definitely wasn't her thing. Especially when the lying was for a stupid reason. Her words were choppy and only a true idiot would believe her.
The spoiled mare's next words completely stunned Epesi. What!?! She didn't accept an apology? Even if that apology was a lie...how rude! What if that had been real!?! Geez, Tiffany didn't know how to make friends.
"Is there anything I could do to make it up to you, ma'am?" She asked in her best yet worst sweet voice. "I terribly don't want someone like you hating someone like me. That would just make me feel like a horrible mare. Oh, please Ma'am!"
But then something about Tiffany's last words struck her. Ah! What a conceited brat! Wow! Epesi stood there, mouth open. Was she serious right now...? "I don't need a compliment. I'm not leaving and I'm not accepting a stupid take back from you..." She said quietly, still gawping.

"Well, then they gave their beauty up for a good cause." she snapped "Seems like you are too much of a prissy goody two shoes to steal anything, because clearly YOU didn't get ANY beauty" she said angrily.
Seemed liked the little thing was wising up, the annoying sound she kept making that sum might call talking seemed to have slowed down, and was less frequent. How kind of her.
"I am glad you admit it darling." said Tiffany, beliveing every word the mare said. Tiffany wasn't the brightest in the world, but she could put on a good show. Sometimes, at least. At the moment...not so much.
"I told you, you just need to leave me alone! Forgivness takes time, particularly from such a horrid little brat of a mare that you are. Maybe if you served me a bit. Like cleaning off spots before I sit down from now on. Mind you, you won't be able to talk...at all." she said, nodding her head.
Tiffany ignored whatever the stupid mare had said under breath, certainly it was more of her begging for forgivness. It was nice to have others admit their inferiority though, and Tiffany quite enjoyed it.

"A good cause that was only a waste..." Epesi said under her breath, shifting her weight beneath her. Part of the young mare really wanted to leave now, after all...this conversation was just going to be snap after snap after snap. She didn't need that. Epesi wanted a friend, obviously not getting one out of Tiffany. "Goody two shoes? That's a new one. Well, I'm sorry but my parents had no more beauty to give me because my older sisters from the first batch already stole it all."
Ah, that was a way to at least get the prissy mare to shut up about her not being pretty. Using Aruna and Artemis. Her Momma always said they were the prettiest mares, and Bairn her only older brother was the most handsome stallion.
But Epesi wanted to shout, she wanted to at least talk and talk and talk over and over again to piss Tiffany off. Something told her to just keep quiet...which was terribly hard...but if Epesi got out of this...alive well then keeping quiet was worth it.
The fake smile she put on for the mare was actually something of a serious smile. Tiffany had just called her 'darling' something that she had failed to do before. Perhaps this fake turn around was working to Epesi's advantage!
But then came back the 'horrid little brat'...ah, not fun. The small mare winced, and then frowned. Really, really not fun. "I'm not going to be your servent, Ma'am. Not even the stupidest soquili out there would agree to that. Slavery isn't good, it isn't nice." Epesi spat, quickly trying to regain her cool. "If you won't forgive me now, then fine. But I'm still not leaving. I'm staying."

"Oh, I am sorry sweety. Poor parents, having..how many? At least three of you little horrors. Must not be very much fun" she said, genuinly feeling sorry for the mare. It must not be fun knowing how ugly you were.
Ah, things seemed to be going fairly well. The stupid little mare was submitting to her, finally, and she wasn't talking like she had been before. In fact, Tiffany could almost pay attention to what she was saying with out getting a head ache from having to think too much about what she was saying.
"Well, fine then. I already have a servent" she said, thinking of the stallion she had recruited a bit ago. "And really, you are so confusing. You want my forgivness, and now you don't. Pick a side, I havn't ever met anyone so wishy washy in my life!" complained Tiffany, getting more then a little frustrated with the mare. Why wouldn't she just leave?
