I'd have to say that this is my favourite series! I just can't get enough of it. I haven't watched a lot of episodes either, but I have the Annotated Alchemist on my iTunes ao's I can listen to the eppies. I currently own one of the DVDs and 1-6 of the Manga. I'm still trying to get more Manga though. My favourite character(s) have to be Armstrong, Mustang, Ed, Al, Hughes, Hawkeye and that's about all I can think of at the moment.

FMA is my favorite anime by far at the moment. I haven't had the opportunity to read the manga yet, although I've heard it's quite different from the anime series.
My favorite character is Lust. I love her whole story and how romantic and tragic her past is. That's another thing I love about FMA, though. No one is really evil, you know? Everyone seems to have some tradgedy that makes what they do justifiable, even if only in their own minds. I love that!
(This is somewhat random, you're poll is a little off. I just thought I'd point out that "Vanity" is not actually a deadly sin... eek )

3nodding Undoubtedly the best Anime I've ever seen. sweatdrop But alas, it has only one season, and one movie as sequel. Edward is a great character with another cool personality. His childish nature suits him. blaugh And not to mention Winry!

The best thing about FMA for me (besides the awesome alchemy action) is that there's no definite line between right and wrong. Everyone, even the so-called "villians" have reasons for their actions.
I'd have to say my favorite characters are Ed, Al, Winry, and Hawkeye. I never liked Roy that much; he always seemed like a know-it-all a** to me.

That is so true... FMA is not like those other animes that has villains with pointless reasons for always attempting to take over the world, or always tries to kill off the main character/s... That makes FMA a bit more realistic points besides the whole alchemy business...
~*~
As for the favorite character/s... I love Alphonse!~ heart heart heart

Everyone, even the so-called "villians" have reasons for their actions. I completely agree! It made everyone real. There was no "I love evil and I'm going to destroy the world!!! MWAHAHAHA!". No. Everyone was real. They all had their motivations for doing what they were doing and truely believed that they were right. Most of the time it made me feel sorry for the villians rather than hate them emo
