Meh, As a Latin-american, I must say... I've lost my love for thisholiday... before it used to be a day when (mexico?) lost it's independence or something, we used that as an excuse to have grills, eat sweet bread, and watch parades go by. Now I see it being used as a day for latino's to cut class saying: 'walk out' it hurts now...
But yes, Cinco De mayo rules in many ways... It's not often people on floats throw candy to children. (The one exception to the 'dont take candy from strangers' rule)
