I've heard that the show might be getting cancelled because supposedly;

-T.R. Knight (George) is leaving the show

-Isiah Washington (Burke) is getting fired

-The producers can't get Katherine Heigl (Izzie) to sign a contract

And because of the definite of Kate Walsh's (Addison) new spin-off show

PLUS-

The last episode (05.03.07) in my opinion SUCKED, so is there hope? Is this just a rumor because there only happens to be 2 more episodes left in Season Three anyways? Answers? Anyone...

I highly doubt they'd cancel it, what with it being so successful and all. And Katherine Heigl has already said that the whole contract rumor was false.

I don't know why they'd fire Isiah...wasn't everything already sorted out?

And I really don't think Addison leaving Seattle Grace would effect the number of viewers much...I mean, most of us are hooked on Mer/Der and Burtina, right?

I agree I am hooked mostly on MerDer also Burtina, also I like Izzie.
They won't cancel Grey's Anatomy since Isaiah (sp?) isn't getting fired. Also George is moving to Mercy Westso maybe he is leaving but George is leaving the show pretty much. Also I think it wouldn't be wise for Heigl not to sign the contract (and I know it's not true) since this has just launched her carreer.
Also I think it is time for Addison to leave since she doesn't want McSteamy and clearly Alex doesn't want her and Derek is well obviously with Meredith so she's going to start a new life.

Grey's is one of those shows that due to it's popularity and the money it brings ABC right now not Even Shonda could kill it, they would replace her or offer the producers an obscene amount of money.
so don't plan on it going anywhere soon.

I heard they were already set to go for season 4 everyone signed everything was a ok! I hope they dont because i'll buy season 3 and pretend the last 4 episodes of the season dont happen.....thats what i did with the O.C

Those are all just rumors and you shouldn't believe them. I read somewhere and have heard from quite a few websites that its been renewed for a fourth season.

FALSE!
Proof:Sources close to the show tell me that unless this is the most guarded secret ever regarding Grey's Anatomy (these sources are so inside they knew about Denny's death months before it happened), the rumors of T.R. and Isaiah's departure are completely bunk.

Proof: I read about this SOOOO LONNNG ago. Basically the article said that she wasn't leaving. This was the talk of a long time ago that they don't have it on spoilerfix.com or kristin e online's blog.

Proof: At the top of spoilerfix.com's Grey's Anatomy thread it says that the show has been renewed for a 4th season.

Yay! I'm a bit nervous though as to where my fav. couples will end up xp But I hope G.A. stays around for a long time----I agree, it's made a permanent place for itself in the media and ABC couldn't ask for a better investment. I think Addison's new show being well recieved was a good bonus.
And there have always been rumors---like Lisa Kudrow starring in P.P.?? That would have been awesome XP

Did you hear about this [SPOILER WARNING]: arrow 05/09 - Sources close to Grey’s Anatomy tell me that Chyler Leigh — the Reunion star who plays the bar hussy we saw in last week’s promo — has been offered a multiple-episode arc for next season. Source: Kristin on E!Online [Note: Ausiello says that Chyler Leigh was offered a 13-episode arc.]

These types of rumors have a tendency to crop up when a show reaches this level of success. The cast seems to have had some problems recently but is by no means jeopardizing the shows renewal. Until ABC makes it official, the show will keep going.
