About the Pack(s)
To make a long, complex story short, the pack is actually two packs co-existing together to make a completely self sufficient society of wolves. There is a pack of mercenary wolves which will be led by the pack's alpha male, Dax; while the more peaceful and easygoing pack which stay home will be led by the alpha female, Bindi. While only the stronger, darker, more battle drawn wolves will be a part of Dax's elite fighting group; Bindi's philosphy is that there is a place for everyone in the pack. Be it scouts, protectors, hunters, caretakers or whatever...everyone can be accepted and strive in the society as it can appeal from everyone to the power hungry to the most timid of wolves.
However, there is a catch.
The pack will give you security, shelter and a new start.
Yet what can you give back to the pack?

Pandemonium is much more than bloodshed, warriors, mercenaries, vagrants and vagabonds finding a home; Pandemonium is about outcasts, the unwanted, those who believe they have no future, who are feared and whose past is tarnished or tainted can be accepted- a place where they can start a new and redeem their name and themselves. It is where wolves whose blood courses with deep beliefs of rebellion, fighting for what they truly believe and for the good of others who are oppressed and held under totalitarian reign can still hold hope- where those who seek to vanquish those who feed off tormenting and anihilating others can be stopped. It's better that one wolf will fall than a whole pack: Pandemonium dismantles the repetition of chains and links of superior wolves who constantly feed of the blood of others in spite of war and pride. Those whose past consist of the warrior, assasin and mercenary lifestyle can put their skills to use in helping Dax create alliances, accords and treaties with other wolves and packs and help rid of wolves that stand in the way of peace or the very existance of life itself.
Aside from the fighting, the other aspect of Pandemonium is centered around the family with Bindi as the pack leader. The family itself is an essential unit to society- it is where families can raise their pups with no fear of threats or dangers and where the lost and lonely can finally be at rest and find a place to call home. Pandemonium is a balance between light and dark where both find balance and harmony- wolves under Dax protect and fight any threats and can easily switch from offense to defense while the wolves under Bindi hunt, keep watch on the home front and also raise young to feed either side or whatever nature they come to respect and feed off. Together, there is a self sufficient society that works together and thrives as one.
But there's a scenario on the rise.
A wolf name Ahrim is vengeful; he is trying to become the wolf his father always wanted him to be. He is a wolf from Bindi's old pack- a wolf who had killed her mother (who was the alpha) and her other siblings from her own litter as Bindi was the only survivor. It is one day that Ahrim stumbles across Pandemonium and meets Bindi- a wolfess who was thought to be dead but, to his surprise, is anything but dead. Because of her deceased mother who was the packs alpha, Bindi is the rightful heir and an idea strikes Ahrim.
If he brings her back and becomes her mate, he will be an alpha. And then he can rid of her and do his own bidding and make his father proud of him.
But there is one problem.
Bindi already has a mate and pups- her mate is Dax.
Yet Ahrim is crafty, sly and won't take 'no' for an answer. Thus, he meets up with Anderu who he falls on good terms with. Anderu himself is a blood thirsty male whose hard to please and will anhiliate any wolf that he or his 'friends' despise. Ahrim persuades Anderu and his pack of followers to help him fight against Dax and to try to take Bindi from him and dismantle Pandemonium to bring rise to his plan. Unknowingly, there is more danger than it seems.
In the back history of Anderu (See Purist and Plauges interest thread to read more 8D), they carry a plauge; their blood has a deadly bacteria and has been infected with a plauge yet wolves under Anderu have become exposed and the plauge itself is benign to them. Yet if one is to shed their blood or ingest it, one will surely die a painful, long suffering death or die quickly however the body seems to respond. It's a gradual effect, small and unnoticable until the becomes evident that something is not right and the pains are tremendous and bring wroth to ones very soul. The fight itself will lose many wolves- but Ahrim and Anderu must be stopped.

Dax's pack is strictly based upon a system of officers and ranks which each warrior and individual wolf will fall under or will train in order to obtain a rank that they have been hand chosen for or one that their father or sibling has held or currently holds. Each wolf under Dax has a responsibility and a duty of keeping the pack safe, creating alliances and pacts with nearby packs and wolves, performing hired mercenary tasks with flawless success, defending the packlands and rising to action when war is on the brink, conferencing with the alpha when called upon, and showing respect, chivalry and kidness to fellow pack members within Dax's or Bindi's pack. The only acception where ferocity and agression will be ever allowed to come to play is when a pack law is broken or a specific order/task is not obeyed and when the alpha see's fit to put the rebellious back in line and keep them in their place. Those who become injured or wounded from battle will take refuge under Bindis' pack and will not be allowed to return to battle until they are physically able and have proven themselves fit to continue. The requirements are physically demanding and time consuming as the pack will travel but only certain ranks will dispatch at a time for training and routines unless during a time of war where every able body will be called upon. The pack will consit of Dax's closest friends whom he trusts, those who prove their worth and those who are willing to fight for a cause and are willing to risk their lives for the good of the pack.
At first, Dax can be intimidating, mis-trusting of the unfamiliar and a bit rough around the edges. But if a wolf was to associate with him and get to know him and his personality, one would find that Dax could be seen with a new light as honorable, compassionate, loyal and devoted to making sure that wolves under him are taken care of and are in fine physical conditions.
With a pack consisting of wolves who are powerful, cunning, sharp and have acute senses in individual specialties, the key is to try and build a deep unity- a brotherhood of blood, to divert senseless brawls, a lack of tolerance for one another and unecessary actions that could lead to injuring a fellow warrior. Such actions that are intentionally caused to inflict pain upon a fellow pack member will not be tolerated and sever consequences will be brought about.
As far as rankings, individual ranks will be assigned based upon performance, capability, strength, endurance and if seen as fit to handle the requirments. Specialty ranks and those high in command will be bestowed upon the individual who prove themselves and are noted by Dax in their efforts and performance.

Darkness, betrayal, secrets, destiny.
Faile and Jaxom had never expected that one of their own pups, their son, Dax, would fall so distant from the family tree.
When the pup of black and white was born, he wasn't alone. Other than his siblings Vashti, Fenuku and Eiros, there was something- someone inside of him that began to awaken. Darkness, mayhem, chaos- pandemonium. Simple feelings, simple thoughts began to grow just as Dax grew and, already a shy and soft spoken individual, the pup began to stray farther away from his family as strange sensations, emotions and thoughts began to compile and accumulate within his mind. He never did like to play as he kept to himself and stayed near Fenuku, his brother who was a bit slow and lazy and his own flesh and blood that who was also plauged with something strange and bizzare that Dax was unaware of. The black and white pup lived in silence- a simple shadow whose emotions were riled within and whose voice couldn't find the words to speak or ears to understand his souls complaint.
But that soon changed when a voice awakened his mind.
For too long the creature, the being within had been silenced and its influence was meager but now it had accustomed itself to its host and the wants, the needs, Dax's hunger for so much more was much like his own. And what is this 'creature' you may ask? Simple. It is a demon. And it has a name.
Davon.
From the day where Davons velvet, suave and manipulative voice first echoed within Dax's thoughts, the young wolf was scared, angered and enraged. But the nieve pup was taught and given a decent explanation:
Davon once inhabited Dax's uncle, Damu, whose heart was wrothed with pain, torment and sins that he had comitted against his own pack, his own flesh and blood. But his destiny- his purpose in life was one that Davon was not meant to service, one where his assitance was not needed. Yes- the brute of white and black harbored a heart that was encarcerated in ice but the demons purpose was not to free him from his own layment of pains as that was for another; for Damu's future mate, Taima. It was when Damu broke free of his own torment and found happiness and a new begining that the inner demon became obsolete and a new host would certainly be needed. But for months he wandered forlorn, a demonic spirit plauging others but whose wishes and fate did not match his own, Davon was left to wander.
But when Faile gave birth to her pups, Davon just happened to sense a connection.
Among the other pups who bore their famili colors, there was one pup who stood out and whose destiny was silently calling to him yet such a small wolf newly born into the cold world could never hear such a calling. But Davon knew- even the signs were there that there was something about this pup! Dax bore the same markings like his Uncle Damu yet, surprisingly, they were reversed. Those cursed swirls were more than a key that this pup, Dax, was the pup whose destiny was set in stone long before- a destiny of becoming entwined and united with an inner demon.
The time he spent trying to coax Damu into becoming a warrior, a warlord and a leader was now useless and time wasted. For all along it was Dax who he was suppose to have been waiting for and now Davon had inhabited the body of the wolf whose destiny was to lead a revolution, a new era of mercenaries, warrirors, an alliance between feral and submissive packs and creating a place of sheer pandemonium.
As he grew older and into an adolescent, Dax had learned how to weild and abide with a darker part of himself, an inner demon. He was acute at listening to the demon speak reassurance, confidence and advice into his reason and adhering to the guidance that he was given.
But, within family, such strange behavior seemed untolerable.
It was the sudden and final feud that erupted between Eiros and Dax that caused the black and white male to mercilessly shed his own brothers blood in a brawl that left both injured- Eiros more injured than Dax himself. After the fight, Dax knew he couldn't stay- he was not meant to stay in the packlands and was urged by Davon to run away and leave.
And so he left with Bindi.
From the once silent, shy pup, the wolf of black and white has become a dominant leader whose intelligence lies in stratagey, tactics, insight, making accords and having learned vital skills of war and mercenary necessities. Aside from his times where his personality is intimidating, ruthless and brutal- Dax has a great love and compassion for his friends and, especially, his mate Bindi.
And it would be the demon within and the intuition given that would lead to a greater change in his future.
It would lead to the building of a pack.
It would lead to a new destiny.
It would lead to the rise of Pandemonium

Bindi's pack will be like a regular society who are more bent on peace then war, but if push comes to shove and the pack is threatened everyone will rise up to defend. For those who can't fight, they will be in charge of caring for the pups and/or wounded and getting them to safety if need be. The pack will consit of many wolves from different walks of life, a place where lones, omegas and vegabonds will be treated with respect as long as they can help the pack out.
Be it a blessing or a curse, Bindi is often too trusting and takes in the wounded and other misguided wolves in hopes that if given the help they can get better and turn their lives around. Puppies are always a weak spot for the wolfess and abandoned pups are always welcome and often will be treated like they were Bindi's own flesh and blood.
With a pack of so many wolves, tolerance is a key issue than Bindi is particularily strict on. She's aware not everyone will be friends with one another, but as long as there is no fights or other trouble then all is well with her, tolerating the other wolves is key.
While ranking is really laxed in her pack, its common knowledge that some wolves will require more respect then others. Such as the hunters and guards who keep the pack fed and safe, will have more authority over say pup sitters and emergency ranking. Of course for both packs the Alpha's and Beta's are the highest ranks in either - yet some ranks will be exclusive to the packs.

Secretly hidden from her pack by her mother as a pup, Bindi grew up alone as her mother didn't return for her one fateful day. Despite meeting friends in the meantime, all the young femme wanted was the warmth of her mother's embrace again. She had promised to come back for the pup, and Bindi kept on believing her word for it. One night, when ambushed by a fox from her little makeshift den; the pup found herself wounded and washed up on the shore of the chilly river...too weak to move. It was then that luck seemed to look up for the blonde wolfess, as Dax stumbled upon her nearly dead body and with his strength he managed to get Bindi onto the shore before calling for his father nearby. It was from that night forth where she was adopted into Dax and Jaxom's family.
Bindi still however could not get the image of her mother out of her mind, and each morning at sunrise she would diligently return to the spot her mother left her and wait. One particular moment where she was followed by Dax to see the sunrise, she was blessed with the sight of her beloved mother wearily returning for her. Unfortunately, the reunion wouldn't be pleasant as two leggers threw the spear which struck the wolfess to the wound...her death was swift. Thanks to Dax and the quick actions of his mother, Faile, the two managed to take the emotionally distraught pup back to the cave. From there on in, she knew she had nothing left but Dax; and swore to remain by his side forever in payment for saving her life twice.
Bindi has no recollection of the pack or family she was forced to leave behind as a pup. Her mother's strict words to never follow her back to the pack had always left a burning curiosity in the young wolfess - yet was soon disguarded after her mother died. She has no clue of the tangled web of lies and disasters which would befall her pack out of this enticing curiosity.
Bindi always compares herself to sunshine, which is what her coat was roughly based from. Her mother had the pelt of a sunrise while her father held the markings of wind - which is what gave her the compelling multihued designs on her fur. Needless to say she is nearly the perfect epitome of a sunshine wolf with such a bright and cheery outlook on life. However she is not one to be taken as weak, with an inner strength and dominance only shown in rough times she is a force to be recogned with especially when her pack or mate is in danger.
When the ideals of the pack came up, Bindi had no intention what so ever to be part of a pack who's main concept was fighting. Intent on her peaceful ways and the ideals of acceptance and a role for every wolf in mind no matter their appearance, capabilities or history...the ideal for the dual packs as one was an instant success. It was a ying yang ideal, much like the pairings of Bindi and Dax; light and dark merging as one. With the aid of friends and family, the pack would be born...a place although peaceful, was a residence where demons lurked. The name?
Pandemonium.

Anyway, of course you guys have my interest! There are a few wolves who I'd love to get in on this . . . .
Otaktay may be good for a mercenary side, where as Sihu or Ravii and her lot (depending whether or not they get in to Tian Tang) could be good additions too.
I'll definitly have to mull over things. . . *could always drag Ooljee out this route too*
Love the idea, nonetheless. *shall mull over stuff-and-things and lurk about to see who she may want to apply*

Sounds really neat and I'd definitely throw a wolf that way but Alexander has his pack and Ta-daa is too mentally unstable to fit into any kind of society. xD;;

awwww- Poor Ta-daa XD
You know, I'm sure Dax would strike up an alliance with Alexander and his pack :3 Allies= <3
As for the war, it's going to be a bunch of wolves that are following a villian who was in the same pack that Bindi's mother led but she was murdered and it's literally tensions, bloodlust and conquest :3 perhaps Alexander and Deimos would want in on Dax's side when it comes around?
