after the events that occured after dirge of cerberus the peace was held by WRO for a while but soon problems started on the northern crater. it seemed to be a normal thing at first but then it grew. WRO scientists found a strange nest with five eggs inside which were taken to edge for study. soon these eggs were about to hatch but then the scientists got more than they could handle when the eggs hatched and mako started to spew out. a large explosion happened in the lab and to the inconvenience of the heros from ff7 the 5 weapons had returned and hid themselves in the land and stayed hidden long enough for the word to get out that they hadreturned. the first attack was from the ruby weapon which sinked the golden sauser then the emerald weapon destroyed junon and finally the ultima weapon had destroyed kalm. in the middle of the attack on kalm is where our story starts.
