i say maria, cuz she was murdered. cosmo sorta sacrificed herself. Molly was died in action, and cream killed emerl.

Maria and Cosmo made conscious choices to do what they did (Cosmo's death was sad because of how it affected Tails, but not the saddest in itself).

It was Emerl that I really felt sorry for, because Cream had to destroy him for something that he didn't really have any control over. Cosmo and Maria had choices, but Emerl was doomed from the start simply because of what he was.

I'd probably have felt a little more sorrow for Molly, had 4Kids not totally slaughter the scene (I forget, was it a kamikaze attack, or did she get shot down?).

And what about Gamma? (not trying to nitpick, mind you XP) I think the anime version of it might have actually had more "umph" to it, mostly due to Amy actually witnessing the poor guy's demise. Plus the closeup of Gamma's hand laying upon Beta's is rather sobering.


But anyway, I suppose if I were to pick from the given choices...Probably Cosmo. Though I never actually got to watch this episode; only screenshots I've seen, it seems to be the most heart-breaking of the lot. The fact that Tails was the one forced to pull the trigger just adds to it (though I suppose it's not all that different from the Cream vs Emerl situation oo; ).

I haven't seen the episode myself, but judging from the screens, I'd say it was a kamikaze attack. There's one shot of her where she looks out from the cockpit to talk to Shadow, but her eyes are covered in shadow. To me, that's a visual cue that says she's saying her goodbyes and such before she does what she does. Aww. sad

I haven't seen the deaths of Molly nor Maria. I'd say that Emerl's death hit me the most, every time I watch it I cry my eyes out... crying

cosmo's made me bawl and i RARELY cry at all and i hated her she was a annoying prep...

but despite the lack of crying Maria's is the saddest. (poor shadow!)
then molly died but I don't think shad cared about her he just liked her 'cas she reminded her of Maria.

I know emerl dies but i haven't seen it yet...

i dont remember molly... anyway maria all the ay. when i seen the episode which she died in. i felt sad and wanted to cry. i felt bad for shadow to have to go through with seeing maria get shot and him being able to see wat the world looks like without maria. maria will never see the world. she only knows the space colony ARK.... sad

Did you watch Sonic X all the way through? I think it was the last season, when they were planet hopping. Someone Shadow (& Rouge? It's been a while since I saw it and that was in French, now I think of it!) palled around with briefly.
