Okay, say any and all things you think will happen. :3 I think that Hagrid and possibly Professor Lupin will both be killed :3 I also think that Harry has to die, even though I do believe that he will kill Lord V 3nodding whee I believe that Dumbledore is dead and gone :3 Anyone who says 'he probably has a horcrux', I think you forget that only evil wizards make them. I doubt seriously that Dumbledore will have ever split his soul, and even if he had killed, I doubt even more that he would have made a horcrux 3nodding
Add on to other people's speculations, argue them, discuss your own. 3nodding

Every time it's been speculated that someone is going to die, my first guess has been Hagrid. I don't want him to die, but it would be a super dramatic moment.
I hope we see more characterization for Luna and Tonks, and some information about that blasted Grey Lady ghost. I know, everyone thinks it's Jane Grey, the three day queen, but I'm not completely sold on that idea. And maybe I'm expecting too much, but of all the characters who I want to see get happy endings, Mrs. Weasley takes the cake for me. I don't want any of her sons to die, not even Percy.

I know what you mean about Hagrid crying lol It's been like that for me, too :3 "someone's gonna die ooo wonder who" "hagrid" "... crying " lol
grey lady ghost?O.o Mimisi is missing something? crying or perhaps just forgetting XD She hasn't read the books in 6 months >.>
Well I thought maybe Arthur would die, but him and Ron have already both had near death experiences, and Charlie, too. So if any of them do die, I doubt it'll be any of those, because that would just be redundant :3
I would LOVE to see more characterization of Luna and Tonks, as well x3 I love Luna and Tonks equally, and they would be Mimisi if mushed together x3 lol
My mom has an interesting idea on Percy. She thinks that he's on the Dark Side and that's why Wormtail was his pet and that's why he was acting so weird about leaving his family and such when they were saying that Lord Voldemort was back 3nodding

ooo, thats a good theory there Mimisi. I also agree with the entire 'harry is probably going to die, but only after killing Volli, (thus making the wizard world happy and then ron would go emo and cut his rists)'.....dont ask>.>lol
I am not entirely sure about my own speculations on this, but I am alomost expecting a 180 from Draco and he is all of a sudden a good guy. I dunno, but that would make me happy ^-^

As much as I hate to say it, I think one of the Weasleys (Arthur or Molly, most likely) will die.... probably to save Harry. So many things in these books seem to circle around, so I wouldn't be surprised if this theme came up again: Harry's mom died to save him. He's taken to the Weasleys are surrogate parents.... well, you get the picture there. And for Arthur having had a near-miss, so it's redundant... true, but at the same time, it would also pack the biggest punch, because it would be unexpected, for that very reason. Also, think of the drama of him getting by the one time, only to be struck down the next. Not what I want, just what I have a feeling will happen.
Dumbledore being gone forever is most likely. BUT, there has to be a reason he had a Phoenix, and there has to be a reason she made a point of stressing "hearing the song of the Phoenix" so strongly. Do I think Dumbledore, in the flesh, is coming back? No. However, don't forget, the only thing he was *really* worried about was having his pic removed from the Chocolate Frog cards... why? I think that's going to come into play. (After all, they can, even in death, visit paintings of themselves... could this have been a way for Dumbledore to "spy" in pretty much every wizard home?) In the vein of horcurxes, it would be unlike Dumbledore to split his soul among objects, but knowing what was going on and what he was about to face, would it really be *that* out of character for him to have give Fawkes a small piece?
For some reason, I don't think Harry will die. I'm probably wrong, but I just don't think so. And so help me, if they kill Lupin, no one wants to see how pissed I'll be! (Yes, I have a strange attachment to some book characters, he's one of them). That said, I also don't think it will be Lupin for the fact that Harry's not super close to him, and the ones who die seem to be the ones Harry cares most about. For that reason, I see Hagrid being a distinct possibility. And, like everyone else, every time there's talk of someone dying, he's always who I expect it to be. Hopefully we'll be wrong this time too.
I still want to know more about that damnedable curtain! And I remember the Grey Lady, but she didn't seem to play much of a part, so I doubt we'll get more info.
While it would be cool if Draco did a 180, somehow I don't see it happening. He's way too concerned about being the Big, Bad Evil and making Daddy proud of him. But, here's hoping that changes.

I can see what you mean about the Weasleys 3nodding But I kind of looked at Dumbledore as Harry's father figure more so than Arthur. (Though, without Dumbledore and Sirius, I guess Arthur would be next 3nodding )
YES! x3 I've thought about the pictures, too. I'm sure that he will come into play through photos, but as for actually 'rematerializing' so to speak, highly doubtful 3nodding I don't really think that, under any cercumstances other than destroying Voldemort, Dumbledore would kill 3nodding Although, I do think that Fawkes will come into play again, too 3nodding
Lupin dying I only suspect, not because Harry's so close to him, but because Lupin cares so very much for him razz I can see him trying to save Harry and dying for him 3nodding (And I COMPLETELY understand what you mean about attachment to book characters x3)
WHO IS THE GRAY LADY? crying lol x3 I believe the curtain is just a passage way from one world to the next, and no more or less than that. I'd be really surprised if it came into play again, simply because it was already a semi-cause of death 3nodding
Draco I think might die. Not for any kind of savior thing, but because he's so scared and didn't want to do what he was supposed to. I think he'll run away and be killed 3nodding
Now, why would he die?
I've been reading a lot of theories about Snape. I saw one that I think fit. Both Voldemort and Dumbledore were father figures. He would be feeling really mixed up going back to serving Ol' Voldey after becoming so close to Dumbledore. This means, he's be acting on his own. I believe he killed Dumbledore, but didn't want to. Wouldn't that cause him to have a love-hate thing for Voldemort? I don't know, I can't really explain it, but I think that if Draco died, it would cause Snape to do a ...well, okay, not a 180, but maybe a 90 XD I don't think that he'll help Harry directly, but indirectly, I can see that 3nodding

In the sixth book, I dont think that Snape really wanted to kill Dumbledore in the first place. He was under that unbreakable promise made by Narcissa Malfoy. Remember, to do Draco's job if he failed? I think that he made the promise to do that to hide the fact that he is really a good/just kind of evil man from Voldi. And because I'm talking about Snape just go here for giggles ^-^ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ij6RYGKV8Fki was gonna post somthing else, but I forgot so I'll post it when i remember sweatdrop

I agree that Dumbledore served more as a father-figure for Harry than Arthur, but at the same time, with the Weasleys, he's got *almost* both parents back... sort of like a dual role for Daddy stand-ins.
I really doubt we'll see Dumbledore in the flesh again too. But wouldn't it be a kick if the whole Snape thing was a ruse, and Dumbledore wasn't dead... just gone underground to lull Voldy into a false sense of security. Then, when everyone least expects it: The sky grows dark with the evil of Voldermort, as he bears down on Harry about to deliver the final blow... when a wind picks up and out from behind a tree (or whatever) steps..... Dumbledore! In a white robe, carrying a white wand... and Voldy's like "OMG, I thought you died?!" And Dumbledore laughs and says "Sike! You PHAIL!" rofl
Yeah, I could see Lupin doing that. And if he does, I will throw the book off my balcony, I swear! (Nice to know I'm not the only one who has that, btw.)
Grey Lady, all I really remember is the name once or twice. And I still think there's more to that veil than meets the eye. Like, could it be possible that, since he was never *killed*, that there *might* be a way to get Sirius back (reference the above idea of Dumbledore, but change the name?)
Why would who die? We've talked about so many others dying I'm lost as to who's death we're discussing.
I don't think Snape really cares all that much about Draco, he just liked him because of the whole loathing of Harry thing. He didn't seem that torn of killing Dumbledore to me, really. I'm not sure it was intentional, but I don't think he was all that upset about it either. The way it looks to me, either it was just a case of wrong place/wrong time and oh well. Or, he decided that, while it was nice that Dumbledore trusted him, he would be better served to go back to the other side. Or, lastly, again, the idea of a ruse doesn't seem too far-fetched. If it's the last, I would think McGonagall would be in on it too.
There's only one other guy I could have seen possibly pull off Snape, and then only if they wanted to go with the more book-like version of the icky, nasty, sallow, greasy, gross Snape. And that would be the guy who played Grima Wormtongue in LotR. Personally, I like this version better. biggrin But then, I'm a total Alan Rickman fangirl anyway.
I actually thought Gary Oldman for Sirius was a stroke of brilliance. I also can't agree with y'all on the actress for Ginny, I think she's rather good. Could they have found a better person for Harry, possibly, but at this point it's truly moot... he IS Harry (and will be for the rest of his life, poor boy). I have to admit though, he's gotten better with age and experience (to be expected, I guess).
I am, however, very torn on David Thewlis for Lupin. On one hand, he really played the part to perfection... on the other hand, the look is just so, so, so, so off!
In my opinion though, there was no one else for Ron or Fred and George. 3nodding
Wow, this was long!

LOL XD The paragraph about "sike! you phail!" made me picture Dumbledore as the ORLY owl x3 <3333 lol
(Very much so, because I sometimes wondered if I was crazy>.> lol) :O You can't do that to a Harry Potter book! :O I'll kill you >x Just mail it to me, so I can have 2 first editions, one for free! surprised ...And add in some more of those yummy pumpkin seeds>.>
Yeah, I finally looked her up XD I don't know. I read the theory that she might be Ravenclaw, but I don't know why she would be, I mean she was smart and powerful. Why would she be afraid of death? o.o Although, when I told Mom about it, she said maybe she stayed a ghost to protect something :3 That would be semi-plausable surprised lol
As for the Sirius thing - I can't pretend I didn't wonder about that. Because he really /didn't/ die, except that JKR kept on and on about once someone's dead, they're dead 3nodding
Hmmm I'm not sure. I think he likes Draco because he likes Mr. Malfoy so much 3nodding I can't say I believe the ruse thing. Too many things with polyjuice potion. It would be WAY too redundant to have them doing it, too XP lol
I suppose that's true. He has gotten MUCH better. And as he's gotten older, he's got a more pinched look like he was supposed to have in the book from being mistreated at the Dursley's :3
Fred and George were way off for me 3nodding Because they were supposed to be short and stout XP Face wise, though, WONDERFUL 3nodding Very mischevious looking 3nodding
