The midnight patrol?
I'm asking this for a reason that will come clear later.
But for nowm I'm wondering who remembers it and what they thought of it.
I'll put my view in soon.

never even saw it. Let me guess, it has something related to NiGHTS...?

I remember it, but the title was Potsworth and Co. smile
I watched it fairly keenly when it was on - it was harmless enough in a shamelessly politically correct kind of way.
Although it never did reach the heights that the owners of the RL Potsworth were hoping for - I honestly think that they were hoping that it'd rival the TMNT in their own way...

I adored Potsworth & Co. solely for the ultra-cool Nightmare Prince - one of Rob Paulsen's finer roles biggrin He had the best lines and was clearly the coolest character there. The kids annoyed me somewhat, although Potsworth himself was OK (sarcasm ftw!).
At one point I think it was up against Captain Zed, so no competition at all really smile One of the few things I watched on CBBC in the nineties, along with Mighty Max and the Mask - the rest of the time it was CITV for its WB & Disney menu...

Well, looks like I've got a following coming together.
Now I just need to re-watch the episodes so I can put together a plan.
If you're interested in knowing more, then Bristol in only 7 days away....well, 6 in all truth...

Yup, I remember it (as Potsworth & Co) fairly well.
It was one of those shows which I enjoyed if I saw it, but didn't pine if I missed one. Entertaining enough. and very 'nice'. wink

I've never even heard of the show myself, but it certainly sounds like this show either inspired or was inspired by NiGHTS. Hanna-Barbera? I know they made a bunch of crossover stuff with a lot of their original characters, but I didn't know about this.

This show was produced in 1990, so I really don't think that it was ripping NiGHTS off.
I doubt that a cheap, short-lived and basically second string Hanna-Barbera potboiler managed to get as far as Japan and inspire Yuji Naka, too.
Again, Potsworth himself was based on a real, live spaniel. I'm not sure how the owners - who created Sleepy Kids PLC and who I'm pretty sure were British - managed to get Hanna-Barbera interested in their idea.
