SPOILERS ABOUND FOR THOSE WHO MISSED IT:
It was good having the Triceratons declaring peace - I hope Traximus is on the senate! Hopefully, the Triceratons and Federation can get along now that Blanque and Zanramon are no longer in command.
The Fugitoid... dead? eek I hope not, because he comes back in the comics to introduce the Utroms to the people of Earth. Poor Professor Honeycutt crying
Why does Bishop kick so much a**? He was even able to ward off Sensei for a little while, although I'm betting a longer battle would have seen Splinter as the victor.
Good seeing Leatherhead again. He's always been one of my favorite characters, even in his... weird... cajun... bazooka-wielding incarnation.
Next week looks... interesting. Mr. Touch and Mr. Go? Odd pun...

Okay . . I'd like to say, up front, that you got to this before I could, S! (For the record, I would have had one up sometime today if you hadn't put this up first!)
I was intrigued . . I feel that Mikey seems to get picked on a lot, though, since he's the nicest one in the group. If I could do more than just stick figures I woulda sketched Bishop (calling the X-Man Bishop: Dude, do you know someone's trying to rip off yer name, man!?) being run over and mauled by a bunch of rabid Mikey fans . . actually Turtle fans in general, with the Mikey ones in the forefront! wink heart
Bishop seems like he's just too kick-butt to be human! (Not that Hun really needed company in that category) . . he also seems to be ripping off the Matrix agents' lack o' personality. Can I have a raise of hands for those who've wanted to slug him sometime during the last two episodes?
As for the professor . . . somehow I'll bet that the Utroms (or somebody) will find him and start him up again. It really would be a shame to loose him; especially after all the fun he gave us jumping up and down and saying "Triceratons! Here I am!" . . driving the boys crazy to the point where Don ended up accidentely popping his head off! eek
Lastly, I was also wondering where Leatherhead had gotten to and, by dang if it ain't good to see him . . . and get him away from Bishop!

I voted yes, it rocked.
I think Bishop could be an Utrom or some other "thing" not from Earth.
I wonder what's going to become of Leatherhead now. It would suck if he just disappeared with no storyline.

Fortunately, this was one of the episodes I finally got to see on the FoxBox! I really enjoyed it and got it on tape. Bishop is a new character to me, as I haven't seen him in previous episodes. I noticed that this episode was the conclusion of a 3-set series, so I must've missed the episode when Bishop was introduced. It was interesting to see him fend off all four turtles, Casey, April, and Splinter!
The fugitoid's death came as a shock to me too. I don't remember the fugitoid's death in the comics... But you are right S, he does come back to introduce the Utroms to the people of earth. What he did was truly noble.
And finally, seeing the Triceratons and the Federation make peace was another shocker... I would have never expected that to happen! This episode shows how removing "tyrannical" figures of authority (Blanque and Zanramon) can have a profound impact on the society as a whole. It showed that the Triceraton and Federation's members really are good people who were only following unethical orders under a corrupt system. To conclude, a truly spectacular episode.

I thought it was a great episode, well at least from what I saw. I had to go help at a church that morning, but I tried to tape it. Loll and behold my dad put in the wrong tape for me and ran out of space before the episode was over... So I got to hear the rest of the details from my dad... sweatdrop That is never a good thing. But I loved the introduction of Leatherhead back into the series. He is one of the best characters (under Mikey, of course. wink ) And you were right, Artue, there would be a bunch of raving Mikey fans mauling Biship, and for sure I would be the one up front!

Can I have a raise of hands for those who've wanted to slug him sometime during the last two episodes? I must agree from I've seen so far... my guess is that Bishop is definitely not human. I liked how the Guardians and Bishop look like agents from The Matrix. I saw the Matrix trilogy and really enjoyed it! (Although, I couldn't understand much of what was going on during the movies...) whee

I just wish they'd figure out something truly original to put in as well . . . though I did overly enjoy all the Star Wars gags when they 1st met the Fugitoid . . sweatdrop
The only real beef I've ever had with the Matrix trilogy is the swearing -- it's difficult enough to follow through all the little plot twists and symbolic stuff they've worked into it without having to mentally censure (however that word's spelled . . sweatdrop ) the dialogue; there's another thing I like about the Turtles - I've never had to mentally cut swearing out of any of their stuff! biggrin 3nodding

Oh, so you're one against swearing? That's good! In today's society, swearing has become the essence of all movies... ...One suggestion: Just don't ever watch the Sopranos... wink

Delaney_mikey Yes, my dad does. I guess it is a good thing to bond over the TMNT instead of hunting you know? xp That's cool! My parents would never sit down with me to watch a TMNT cartoon... They think it's "a kiddie show." stressed But they have finally come to accept that I like the TMNT.

My mom casually watches TMNT (she's a big fan of Michelangelo), and my dad watches sometimes, and is familiar with most of the characters, but isn't really into it.

My mom wishes that I would grow out of it, but I doubt that that is a very realistic wish. My dad is cool with it and actually encourages it. He sits there and watches the cartoon with me and even watches the movies with me... Over and over agian. 3nodding He's pretty cool with my obsessions. My mom mostly wants me to out grow them. stressed But how could I ever outgrow Mikey? biggrin
