I just realised we don't have a thread for the nice customers! I know that they're often few & far between, but we should still acknowledge them!
I'll start with a new regular we have named Pat. Pat is a one-legged old (not OLD old, but in his 60s or so) man who rides around in his 3-wheeled scooter, which (apparantly) doesn't handle corners well (the 3-wheeler is what he was given, he's saving up for a 4 wheeler - apparantly they're faster & better on corners).
He first came in a couple of weeks ago wanting to set up a fish tank (he wants 7 fish that look very different from each other - so he can name them after the days of the week)... on the way to the store he'd taken a corner a little bit fast & cut up his elbow REALLY bad. My manager & I made sure he was ok, got out our 1st aid kit, cleaned it & bandaged it (yes, it was that big a cut!). Then we helped him get a tank & water treatments & a plant etc. He joked around (cheeky jokes & anecdotes, nothing TOO dirty, but a little bit borderline) & went on his way.
He came in a few days later for a chat & a water testing & then came in again the other day with two long stemmed red roses (one for me & one for my manager) with notes on each one saying "Dear Jewels (my manager's rose had her name on it), thank you for CKCF (see over). From Pat D" On the back of the card (it was small), he'd written around the edge "Caring Kindness Courtesey Friendship", he got a hug & a (cheek) kiss from each of us.
He came in again today to finalise his fish choices & brought me a carton of pink milk (not quite sure why, but it was sweet) & said that next time he's buying me "a pink ferrari with real leopardskin seat covers", LOL! Ok then! I just told him I'd tell my boy I had a secret admirer, lol!
Aaaaand go!

Yep, strawberry flavoured - but "pink" is shorter than "strawberry" so everyone I know calls it that.
^Exactly like that (except 300ml instead of 600ml)^

The nicest customer I get is someone who says "thanks" or "You too." When I tell them to have a nice day. That's as nice as it gets.
