I thought it was nice and interesting. For a four hour movie, it held my attention well. It's been a while, but I still remember being happy when Elmer or Emery or whatever lost his hand. I really hated him. The creepiest part to me was the housemaid. Those eyes were to die for and the way she delivered "Come in. You are expected." was really great.

I didn't like that Nick died. He was cool! Yeah, not scary but interesting to say the least. At least more people will be familiar with Shirley Jackson through the references.

I seen it, it's a very good movie. And it's sad that eveyone was slowly killed off, especially Nick.

i actually enjoyed rose red 3nodding heart i haven't seen it in a while, i wouldn't mind getting that on dvd and watching it again.

I love that Movie and own it one of the few that I can watch over and over again in one day.

I think it was an excellent Haunted House movie. I own it on DVD and I watch it every now and then. I've also read The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer. Does anyone know if the movie is just a screenplay meant to continue after the book or if there's an actual book with the events of Rose Red in it?
