Okay children, listen up:
On Tuesday 5/1, Joyce brought up the subject of gay prom this year. She gave out the date (which escapes me for the moment) as well as the general location (down town Davenport, I believe?).
Anyway, none of that really matters until we get one thing settled, and that is this years Gay Prom Theme! I don't believe enough time was given to the consideration of this important issue, and I know a lot of you guys didn't get to voice your full opinion during the short meeting, so please feel free to post comments, ideas and suggestions here.
Right now, the choices are (as I remember, please correct me) Greek, Reverse, and DDR.
- Greek (togas, spartan, and really anything to do with 300)
- Reverse (girls in dress suits, guys in dresses, sounds fun)
- DDR (a dance dance revolution paradise)
Now, I believe Joyce split you guys up into certain committees, so please post your jobs here, as well as any other ideas you may have for prom.
Get cracking kids, this prom isn't going to gay itself up!

I didnt sign up for anything. I thought Joyce wanted you guys to put this together mostly on your own. I am just there in case you guys have any questions about anything.
I know michael is getting publicity underway, but he'll need to know the theme before too long so we can get that ball rolling. After all, it is very difficult to make out fliers for a prom no one knows the theme for.

Okay people, we really need to get some more feed back on this topic.
We are going to be meeting with some of the other kids from the other schools in the area to get an idea of theme from them as well, but it would be nice if we could go into the meeting more or less agreed upon a theme.
Help me help you, or else I'll have to start tossing people through brick windows.

At last night's meeting, we talked about possible themes and had thought that toga would be the one to go with. However, we must still meet with the UT students and try and get some more feedback before we can proceed.
Two other ideas mentioned were Over the Rainbow (a wizard of oz styled theme) or Diversity (where everyone makes up their own theme).
Honestly, does anyone even read these threads?
100 gold or a mimzy to the first person who posts on this thread with something to do with the prom!!!

if i was there id make my own theme that would be halloween theme and id pull out some of my old costums and go as a vampire or wizard and probably spend all night pretend fighting people or sucking out ther blood
does that count?
if it does can i have a bunny to?
