((This rp is for me and Mira to rp out Daveigh's birthing of her two newest boys. Please do not post until me or Mira ask you to join. Thank you. ^^))

In the midst of a warm afternoon when the lions still left around the Rose Petal Pride den napped out of boredom the princess Daveigh scanned the skies. Her eyes darted back and forth seeming to look for something that could only be found in the skies. As she searched she paced anixiously along the rock platform infront of the den. Something was bothering her and it showed simply in her actions. It seemed like time passed slower than usual as Daveigh kept scanning the skies until finally what she was looking for came into view and it was coming towards her. Her pacing became quicker as the little pink bird came closer and closer and finally landed on a tree branch in a tree near the den.

Zeeza settled easily on the tree branch and before she had even took a breath Daveigh was at the base of her tree calling up to her. Zeeza looked down at the princess and was surprised to see how big she had gotten in the short few days she had been gone. She looked ready to pop at anytime but she did not say anything about that to her and instead answered. "Yes princess? Do you need something of me?"

Daveigh nodded immediately and then glanced about to make sure no one was listening near by. "Yes! Can you do me a favor? Can you relay a message to Yukio? Tell him I've gone to the lake cave and to come as soon as he gets this message and come alone. Can you do that for me?"

Zeeza quirked a brow at Daveigh's odd actions but simply nodded. "Yes I can do that for you princess." She replied becoming very curious of Daveigh's actions. Was there something she knew that not even she, Zeeza, knew? Nah!

"Well go quickly! Please Zeeza. Tell him to come but not to tell anyone else and don't you tell mother or father. And also I want you to come by the cave after nightfall. I may have a few more favors to ask of you then." Daveigh said and soon after she started off in the direction of the lake cave but not before calling back. "Thank you Zeeza!"

Zeeza just sighed and shook her head. "That girl is so odd." She said but did as was requested. She took off from her perch and started out for the prides borders. If Yukio was anywhere she could more than bet that he was patroling the borders by request of the king.

Zeeza was surprised when she found Yukio only half way around the border her first time around. Man was she a lucky bird. Close to her level was Samara flying, she squawked a hello to her and then dove down to Yukio. She came in to land squarely on his back and squawked loudly as she landed. "Yukio! I have a message for you from Daveigh!" Zeeza exclaimed before she began to preen her feathers pridefully and waited for Yukio's reaction to her proclimation.

Zeeza chuckled at Yukio's reaction. She had figured he would start spouting off questions almost immediately and his questions were the top two she guessed he would ask. "Daveigh is fine. She just asked me to inform you that she is going to the lake cave and that she requests you join her there right after my relay of this message to you." Zeeza explained and then she preened her feathers a bit more before taking off from Yukio's back. "My message has been relayed so whenever you feel to visit Daveigh you know where she is. Until tonight Yukio. Have a good day." Zeeza said as she flew back to the den where she would rest for the rest of the day.

The farther back into the cave that he could go the stronger the scent of blood became till it filled the nostrils and all other smells were eliminated. Deep in the very back of the cave, as far back as possible that could be gone, Daveigh layed with her back towards the entrance. She was partially up, not laying completely on her side, and seemed to be doing something to something on the other side of her.

However at Yukio's call she lifted her head, tensed for a few moments in which time she did little but clench her teeth, then she finally calmed and called out to him. "I'm back here Yukio." She replied and was actually going to add more to her reply when she cried out and clenched her jaw shut. On the side next to the wall a whimpering cry came as Daveigh moved. The cry came from a little red cub covered in black spots mingled with hearts of the same color.

After a few moments of her jaw clenched together, she relaxed and collapsed. Though she already managed to get one out, the second cub within was being extremely stubborn on coming out and was quickly zapping energy from Daveigh and now she layed sprawled out in a bed of grass she had made up a few days earlier during one of her sneak away from the den escapades and was gasping for air.

Daveigh lifted her head when Yukio came closer. She whimpered to him wanting more comfort from the pain but she was silenced in her whimpers by pain that could have made a gash in the side seem like a small splinter. Daveigh's jaw tightened as she clenched down on her teeth through the pain. Halfway through she remembered she needed to push and did so. Her jaw was so tight she could feel her teeth being pushed back down into her jaw but this push had been enough as the last cub, a dark purple boy with white spots and green and pink flakes and feathers plopped onto the grass in a soggy puddle.

The only movement Daveigh made once the cub was out was to grab him and place him up with his brother between his fathers paws just before she collapsed onto the grass and grew still. Her body was completely limp but her eyes remained open and she still heaved for breath.

Daveigh seemed to almost be paralyzed as all she did was breathe and let her eye lids flutter between closed and open. She wanted sleep but she wanted to watch her two new boys as they nursed, she didn't want to sleep yet. Her two newest babies, two new life forms to get to know to love and to cuddle. Oh she hoped that Adieu and Vasillios would take to them well.

Things would be so perfect if they did. There could be peace in one aspect of her life. Yukio's deep purr vibrated in her lown body. The feeling was soothing and comforting and she could feel her conciscious self slipping away into sleep. Her eyes slowly closed and she drifted off into slumber without even a solumn word.
