 Tawny, being very relaxed as normal, laid quietly in the grass. He had been chewing on bits of grass when ever he was hungry. He'd been there all morning. Peaceful as it was, he sat waiting for someone to talk to. He should really stop being so lazy, though he couldn't help enjoying the nice day that it had been.The son was going down slightly, leaving a hint of orange in everything. I

 Kirei - Chi Sauntered along the edge of the riverbed, not paying too close attention to where she was going. She looked over at the setting sun every now and again, admiring the golden orange hues it painted the sky.
She glanced more closely at the horizon though, when she noticed a solitary figure that blended in almost perfectly with the orange glowing sky. Curious who or what it could be, she started to trot over.

 Amaroq leaned over the edge of the river, lapping up some of the water. He felt exhausted from flying and felt like walking about instead. He was curious by this place, as he hadn't come across it yet in his travels. Whiping away some of the excess water from his muzzle with his paw, He started off to explore.{{I'll try and get Amaroq more into this rp as it goes on. Sorry for how bad my rp post is D; }}

Tawny had yet to notice anyone in the area. Having the river to the side of him rather to the front, he hadn't seen the female coming closer. Instead, he watched a family of birds that were flying back and forth to the nest in the tree a few several feet away from him. The sounds were heaven. He loved the way birds made lovely music when night came.
It was mostly because of the grub that started to appear on the serface of the ground. Hidden with the grass, but still easy for a bird to see. He continued to lay straight with his front paws crossed infront of him. His small bushy tail wagging as he watched them.

As Kirei - Chi neared the stranger, she could finally make out what it was. Another Ulaya, like her! She started to trot a little faster, happy at finding a potential new friend.
Almost close enough to talk at a comfortable volume, she could see that the other Ulaya was concentrating on the little birds in front of him. Rather than disturbing it, she sat back a little, and waited for it to notice her.

Amaroq stopped quickly and ducked as close to the ground as he could having noticed a slight movement of orange. He cocked his head a bit, wondering as to what the orange creature was doing here. Looking over his shoulder, he flapped his wings, as if to check if they still functioned properly, he then took off the ground and flew up to a branch on a tree not too far from the creature. He then saw that it was another ulaya, watching some small birds up in a tree, a little close to his. As he was about to land in front of the ulaya to meet him, he started to look along the horizon, at the sunset, when another creature caught his eye: a white ulaya. He glanced between her and the orange ulaya, though studying her a little longer, noticing that she looked a little differant than most ulaya...

Tawny noticed a movement off to the side of him. Turning slightly to see what other creature had decided to join him on this nice afternoon. Light orange and pink filled the body of another Ulaya. Not sure if the light orange was her true color, since the sun had added an orange tint to everything.
He smiled at the other, pretty sure she was friendly. Or if she wasn't, she would have attacked while his attention was still else where. "Hello there." He said quite calmly, and a little quiet, but was sure she could hear him. She had long hair, that he'd never seen on any Ulaya. Though, he hadn't met any female ones as of late, so he wasn't sure how they looked before.
He hadn't noticed the gray male close by to them, he's full attention now on the lovely female that stood before him. "Lovely evening?" He asked in the same calm and quiet voice as before.

Kirei - Chi blushed. His voice was very soothing and melodic to her ears.
"Yes, it is!" She replied, a smiling falling across her face. "Do the birds interest you?"
She looked at the smaller creatures, flitting about on the tree branches. They were quite cute, in her opinion. She hoped the other Ulaya wasn't planning on having a meal of them.
"Oh, I'm Kirei Chi." She remembered to introduce herself. "You can call me Ki-chi though."

Tawny sat up. It was the more polite thing to do. He took her look in carefully, making sure that he'd remember what she looked like for any other encounters they may endure. "Oh, they make the Evening even more pleasant."
He smiled at the other. He hoped she didn't think him a hunter. He wasn't much for blood. He was mostly a vegetarian, though at times he did have a grub or two. "They are entertaining to watch." He turned his head back towards them.
He looked back at her as she said her name. " Kirei Chi, Ki-Chi" He said carefully a couple of times to make sure he got the name down. Of course, it became a habit of his. Very annoying to most. Or at least most that ran into him. "I'm Tawny." He said and inclined his head.

She quietly sighed in relief that he wasn't planning on eating the little creatures. She glanced up at them, taking in the whole picture. They really did make the night more appealing.
"It's very nice to meet you Tawny." She said, looking him over. He was a lovely orange shade, like the sunset. He was the first Ulaya she had met, being new to this area. She was very interested in meeting more of her kind here, and possibly join a pack if she was lucky.
She looked back up, realizing that there must have been a semi-long uncomfortable silence. "So, would you like to take a walk? It seems the birds are getting ready to go back to there nests, there isn't much light left."

He thought for a second. A walk sounded great, though he never left this spot until the sunset was completely done. "I don't know. I normally watch the sunset right here." He smiled. It was strange having someone asking him to do something with them. But it was just the afternoon, barely even the evening.
"Perhaps we can stay and chat a little longer before walking. Unless you have a problem with staying in one spot for too long?" He knew there was a few Ulaya like that, but he was unsure who.

"Sure!" She replied gaily, ears perking a bit. She ventured a little closer and lay down in the grass. She sighed in contentment. "It sure is nice here." She said to Tawny. "I used to live near a desert. It wasn't really suited to me though. That's why I came out here. Have you lived here your whole life?" She asked, taking her eyes off the setting sun to look at him.

He watched her lay down near him. He then lied back down as well. "No. I haven't. " He said remembering where he actually came from. He honestly didn't know where he came from. He was just wondering around. " I remember bits and pieces of my past, but I don't remember the exact area I use to live it. I find my self always traveling. Until I found this place." He said.
It fit his calm mood, though for the fact that there were some meaner Ulaya. He'd been attacked here only once. There was a leopard like one that he, unfortunately had an encounter with. Though, he'd been attacked a lot on while he traveled. He wondered why he never became bitter.
He smiled at her. "Though, I can't say it wasn't pleasant traveling. I think, I liked it better then when I was in one place before I found myself walking alone."

"Ah, so you're something of a nomad then? You must encounter so many interesting things! This is only the second place I've been. I would like to see more of the world though. Do you have any interesting stories?" She inquired.
She rolled onto her side so she could pay more attention too him. It was nice to have another Ulaya to talk to without feeling self conscious.

"Interesting would be a nice way of wording things I've encountered." He said with a smile. "None of the stories that are stuck in my head are pleasant. I'm sure you wouldn't want to hear them." Well, at least he didn't want to re-visit most of them.
He hadn't any scares, except the ones that were in his mind. He smiled at the other kindly. "Plus, they'd probably bore you." He added. His tail puff wagged a bit. It was sure interesting how this one took interest in his life of being a ranger.
