Sibalto paced along at a slow, catlike walk. It was graceful and silent, each step puntuated by the faintest of snorts as he glanced around the woods. The reins to his double bridle were loose, set on his shoulders. Tashika fairly lounged on his back, hands planted behind her on his haunches as she let him have his head.
He bobbed his head, ears flicking lazily about, eyes alert. It was a nice, cool day... The perfect day for the easy, roaming walk. His saddle had been left back at the teepee, but the bridle was worn as adornment. Tashika liked how it looked, and it reminded him of his old home.
The scent of strange horses was everywhere.

Little Del'nal giggled as she galloped about. She'd been able to sneak away from her parents again! Now, to get her silly wings to work! Yes they were small, but she wanted to fly already!
She was about to try to fly again - but something caught her eye. Pausing, she peered at the object, to find out it wasn't an object, but another Soquili like herself, except... without wings! And he had stuff on him, how silly!
Grinning, Del trotted over to him, highstepping just for the fun of it. She wanted to know why he had stuff on him, it had to be uncomfortable!

Sibalto arched his neck and gave a few prancing steps, starting Tashika to a taller seat atop his back. She laughed and buried her hands in the thick foam of his neck, rubbing his silken neck. He was high-spirited and young all of a sudden, prancing and wild beneath his elegant coat and smooth muscles.
The sound of a giggled and delicate hooves chiming over the ground made him turn toward the trees. His dark eyes were alight with curiosity... What little one was heading his way?
Tashika clapped him on the neck gently, noting his turn of attention and the flicking of his ears. She could tell something was headed their way, but the way his ears were flicking back and forth meant it was something that interested and puzzled him, not scared him. No danger then.
"Sibalto..." She began, then paused as her less-sensitive ears caught the sound of delicate hooves. "Ahhhh."

Del'nal boldly approached the two, looking up at them with big, curious eyes. She greeted the with a high-pitched whinny and a flutter of her wings. Del stepped closer to the one of her kind and stretched out her neck, 'Hiii! I'm Del'nal! But you can call me Del, everyone else does! What's your name? What's with all the... the stuff on ya?' she asked as her tail swished. 'And who's that?' She nodded towards Tashika as she asked.

Sibalto took a deep breath and barely suppressed a soft chuckle at the sight of the inquisitve filly. Questions flowed out of her faster than he could reply, so he waited for her to pause and breath before he replied.
"It is a pleasure to meet you Little Del." He rumbled kindly. "I am Sibalto, a Stallion from across the Sea... The bridle is a custom from my homeland, I... Really can't explain it..."
He looked sheepish, and gently nosed Tashika's leg as the filly's attention turned to her. "This is Tashika.. She's my two-legger... She watches over me... Do you not have a Guardian, Little one?"

The filly grinned up at the stallion as he answered and introduced himself to her. 'Sibalto? I like that name, it suites you! Are those things comfy?' Again, she eyed the bridle. It looks rather... constraining. Not to mention odd!
'Guardian?' Del repeated. But she shook her head. 'Nope! I don't have one! Are guardians nice? And can't you look after yourself? Are they fun?' Yes she was quite a bundle of questions!

Sibalto mouthed the bit and considered the bridle. In truth, at first, it had been... Odd... Uncomfortable even.. But now.
The grey stallion shrugged and smiled. "I don't mind it, but I daresay a free-flying thing like you would dislike a bride... Thank you Del, I rather like my name too.. You are a sweet thing aren't you?"
He cocked his head and gave Tashika another nuzzle. "I can look after myself, but sometimes even adults get into trouble... And then its a good idea to have a two-legger guardian... I like mine just fine, she's nice... And she can be fun...."

Del smiled, her wings fluttering a bit at her sides. "Yeah... It looks kinda silly on you! Bridles are funny, but your name isn't! Aww... You're nice too!" She giggled a bit as she watched the stallion nuzzled the two-legger.
"You get in trouble?" she asked, awed. "I didn't know that! I thought adults never got in trouble! So your... your guardian helps you keep on the right track? What does she do that's so fun? Can she play tag? Can she race?"

Sibalto grinned. This filly was so vibrant and curious.. He really did want foals of his own, one day... A daughter like little Del would probably drive him crazy with worry, but he'd adore her.
"Thank you ver much... And yes, adults get into trouble... Don't ever let them tell you anything different! Yes Tashika keeps me out of trouble... She can play tag, and hide and seek... She can't race very well as she only has two legs... But she's still fun..."

"Wooooow, really? I thought adults were perfect!" Del gasped, her eyes wide with awe. "She can't race? Psh, that's no fun! Could she ride on your back? Or would she just fall off?" she asked, dancing on her hooves a bit.

Sibalto chuckled and shook his head, nosing the young filly with a playful smile. "Oh not by a longshot young one... We only want you to think that... I don't think anyone is perfect... There's always room to make mistakes..."
Considering his handler for a moment, he grinned. "She could race you perhaps, but never a full-grown Soquili.. Their legs are too long... She wouldn't be able to keep up.. But she's still fun... And if she wishes, yes, she can ride on my back..."
