Sighing a bit as she moved along, the lengthy looking mare moved silently along. She wasn't sure where she was, she never did, after all. But it was rather nice looking, green. Must be some kind of green place. Oh that made sense. She shook her head a bit. She was not just some stupid Ichsa. She was smart, to a degree. Not brillent, but smart...
Eira glanced around, the sun flashing across her dark body and picking up the white on her rear, showing it off. She had let Dark not long ago. It stung, and she wasn't entirly happy about it. She missed him, but it was a passing thing, nothing deep, nothing acheing, as she would expect from a true love. So she liked him, a crush perhaps, but being away for so long...changed her veiw of the stallion. And now she wished to meet somone new...a new friend, a new love, a new life. Any of them...jsut somone diffrent. The diffrent the better....

He watched her from the shadows.
Oh wasn't that a pretty little analogy for his whole damn life? Always a spectator it seemed but at least today he had something pretty to look at. The ocean had been appealing he supposed but the sand-filled winds had chafed at the burns he'd picked up and the grass had tasted salty. D'ob was better, kinder to him with its frequent cloud cover.
Right now however, the sun was strong, strong enough to make him squint if he turned his head the wrong way. Such a pretty young thing she was though and all alone it seemed. A shame. Well. He might was well talk to her he supposed, no harm in it and company might lift his mood a little. But the sun... Humm, perhaps she would come to him.
"All alone are you?" he called out to the slender mare. "Would you like to come over here and join the club? We've got a secret greeting and everything; very fashionable."

The mare startled slightly, turning her head and blinking at the sight of the most...strange stallion she had ever seen. Haveing spent most her time with the black colored Dark, a white stallion was startaling. She nodded at his question. After he finished speaking she couldn't help but give a small giggle almost and smile, turning her corse and heading over to him. SHe reconized his breed. A Reya. Amazing creatures, she thought. A bit scary, upon first meeting but her traves had put her past a few and this one seemed a bit friendly, at least.
As she reached him she bowed her head a bit. "And how many are in this club?" she asked, smling a bit, lookign him over. A slight pink tint under his coat, from his skin. Oh she was sure she knew what that was...just at the moment she didnt know. "My name is Eira, its a pleasure to meet you..." she paused, a silent question for his name.

The blue-eyed Reya smiled as the mare approached him. "Name's Morthan," he supplied, "and I'm afraid the only other person in the club right now is me. Very exclusive." Even prettier close up she was. "I like your name by the way. Eira; rolls off the tongue very nicely." Pretty thing like her probably had a mate somewhere. Oh well; that was life. His life anyway.
"You been in D'ob long?" the Reya went on with a glance about at their green surroundings. "Haven't been here much myself before but it's a nice place to be I find, so long as you remember not to eat too much of the grass at once." Goodness knew getting the sickness was all he needed on top of everything else. Well… Things weren't really all that bad he supposed. Sure he hadn't found the purpose he'd set out for so far but it might well turn up and there were few better places to hunt for a mate than D'ob… Maybe the brown Ichsa was single. One never knew one's luck, after all.

"Ah, then the invitation is all the more importent, for such an exclusive club. And its a nice to meet you Morthan. Thats an interesting name...seems as if it doesn't quiet fit you, however, but its a wonderful name none the less." Shifting a bit she shook a bit og her mane from her eyes.
"No, not long. just a sort while, in fact. I flew here after..." she paused. "Well after i left my now ex-mate..." she sighed a bit and looked out into the more sunny area. "Was not ment to be i supose. To boring...to calm...and to akward." she looked at him and smiled a bit, almost laughing. "He looked more like my brother then anything else. all black with the same white speckles i have. Really...it was strange. I do supose i could have tried to find another i had met, a handsom Jala stallion but...that would have been a bit weird, he was nice, and helped me home. But personally, i'm not fond of feathered wings for a mate..." She trailed off, not wanting to become to talkative. After all why ruin anything before anything ever happened. He had invited her over...she would not want him to become sorry for his kind invitation.

Woohoo! At last! The world was coming up Morthan! Oh yes; go fate, destiny and all the rest of the buggers that might have been involved in this meeting! A pretty single girl who was actually talking to him! Praise be! Finally the bitter old git gets to catch a break! Wondrous!
The pale stallion gave a slight nod, his internal celebration remaining that way. "Well it's nice to have more than just me in the club now," the Reya smiled. "And if you can think of something you think suits me better than Morthan you're welcome to use it; so long as I know it's me you're talking to and it isn't insulting I don't mind what name you give me."
Should he say anything about her mate? He didn't want to seem too... too foreword and scare the girl off. Still, avoiding the topic would probably look even more awkward. "Sorry to hear about your relationship going belly up," the short-maned stallion said, pawing half nervously at the ground for a moment before catching himself and stilling the leg. "Haha. Sorry. I know what you mean about the feathery wings though... I mean they're pretty but they remind me of Shrila a bit too much. I'd have to be pretty damn convinced about a Jala girl to think about her like that."

"Thank you." she said politly. "but i was really the one who broke it off. I feel badly tho. But after i went exploreing, returning to him was strange and i felt akward around him...like somthing was lost. We have even been talking about kids at one point but..." she srhuged. "I just coudldn't..." A simple explanation. She cause the nervous pawing and dismissed it. "its alright." she said.
She had a little question burning in her head. "How come you are so white?" she had to ask. She coudln't remeber, if she ever knew, why one would be as white as he, and she had never seen anyone as pure white as he. It was stunning, amazing, and in all honestly...somthing she loved to look at...to see with her own eyes, like a dream.

Well... Where was the harm in telling her? Hell, she'd find out in the end if they ended up going about together for any length of time in any case. "I'm albino," the stallion informed his companion with a crooked smile. "Means I didn't manage to inherit any colour from my parents which also apparently means that sunlight burns me, I have terrible vision at the best of times and can't see at all at night."
Did she like the colour or did she find him and his pale, pale eyes disturbing? Some did. Morthan supposed they thought he looked like a ghost or some such. Hopefully she liked it. ...Now why did he hope that? Ah yes: big macho male showing off to pretty girl; that made sense then.
The pale stallion wondered privately what had changed between Eira and her ex-beau. Exploring she said. Perhaps the world had changed her a bit and left him the same, quite plausible. Perhaps... perhaps she was looking for somebody more worldly? Perhaps he was getting a bit too carried away by a pretty face and a sweet manner. Well. Time would tell.

"Albino?" She listened to his explanation. "For somthing that is so...magnificent to see, it sure comes with alot of bad things following." She said honestly. She was more over thinking along the lines of beautiful, but wasn't entirly sure the stallion would like being called beautiful. Magnificent was the next best word she could use to discribe the stallions, well it would be an abnormality wouldn't it? It was spectaular none the less.
And at the moment the mare was glad. She was talking with somone she had never met, and not once had even a hint of down talking had happened. He didn't seem to eithr know, or care about sterotypes, least she hoped.

"Err..." The pale-coated stallion blinked, bemused for a moment before a slight, almost shy, smile tugged at his lips. "You like the colour? A lot of people think I look... erm... well eerie I suppose, not quite alive. As to the drawbacks," the Reya flicked and ear in a shrug, "I've never known any different. It's a bit of a pain but I'm used to it." A pretty, seemingly fairly intelligent girl thought he was magnificent. Wow. Well today was definitely going better than he'd expected.
"So Eira," the blue-eyed Nequus went on after a moment or two of silence. "Are you heading somewhere in particular right now or are you just wandering?" Maybe he could go with her if she was going somewhere and, if not, maybe they could wander around aimlessly together. It would be nice to get to know a girl who didn't think he was 'creepy looking' for once.

She nodded, smiling. "I like the color vary much." SHe didn'tsee how anyone would think of such an amazing color, so white...to be eerie. Besides, at the moment, the white was the perfect contrast to what she left behind, and that made her like it all the more.
"Honestly, i am kind of heading somplace. I simply do not know where it is. I'm trying to find a place to stay, a home, weather temporary or permident...Somepalce nice to stay that will give me what i need." She explained. Tho it sounded a bit odd to say it outloud...and she wondered if it sounded strange to the other as well.

She had a slightly odd way of putting it but the white stallion thought he knew what she meant. He nodded. "Everybody needs a place to call home whether it stays the same place from one season to the next or not." His own home had been pretty much the same place since he'd managed to get himself separated from his family but the blue-eyed Reya knew that some others were less settled.
"D'ob's a pretty good place to make a home from what I've heard," Morthan went on with a nod at their verdant surroundings. "I live quite a ways from here myself though; not far from Casa Tiner. It's a bit remote though and I hadn't seen much of other Nequus for far too long so... well here I am. I wanted to see the world a bit I suppose." It was almost tempting to make a new home here or nearby, somewhere closer to other people. He'd met some good ones on his trip so far; it might be good to give himself a chance of meeting more such folk. But... well the old pine forest was home. Perhaps just an extended holiday would be good then.

She tiltied her head slightly. "Do you like to live alone? The way you talk, i'm assuming you dont' have anyone you live with. Do you like it? Personally i like to at least have somone near...weather or not i know them, weather or not they care in the least if i'm alive or dead. Just another somplace that i know, in my head, i'm not entirly alone...." she trailed off. Once again she sounded odd, having not found the correct way to explain herself. SHe didn't like to nessecarily always have company, but she did like to know that she wasn't the only nequus for miles.

Morthan gave a shrug. Frankly it had sucked but he wasn’t going to go into that. "A Reya lad moved into territory next to mine not long ago but I was alone for a long time before that. Him turning up all young and full of ambitions made me realise what a bitter old bore I was so I decided to do something about it." The white stallion smiled slightly at his companion. "You think it worked?" he quizzed half-jokingly.
It would be nice if he didn't seem like a dried up old git with no life left to him. He thought he looked a bit better than he had before he'd left but that was probably as much due to the kinder weather as anything else. His depressive moods were less frequent too though. Oh he was still a cynic a lot of the time but, though he hadn't found a mate or a great purpose, life looked a little less bleak than it had since his last daughter had moved away with her mate.

"You don't seem like a bitter old bore to me." she said lightly, smiling at him. "in fact i think you are vary kind. A gentalmen in fact." she nodded. "And anyone who says other wise is just jelous." she laughed softly. She shook her head a but to get her hair out of her face again. it could be such a bother, even if it wasn't that long.
"Would i be correct in assuming, from you conversations, that you have no mate or loved one either?" she asked. Personally she was a bit surprised. After all he was such a nice stallion, his white coat was amazing, and he had a sense of humor. Good looks, humor, kindness. If there was a catch she didn't care at the moment. Of course there had to be. "Your vary kind, handsome, and rather funny, in a good way of course."
