NO MORE GILMORE GIRLS!!!
We hoped and hoped that there would be one more season but alas there is not to be...
the official statement from CW an Warner Bros. Televesion
"Announcing the final season of 'Gilmore Girls' is truly a sad moment for everyone at The CW and Warner Bros. Television. This series helped define a network and created a fantastic, storybook world featuring some of television's most memorable, lovable characters. We thank Amy Sherman-Palladino, Dan Palladino, Dave Rosenthal, the amazing cast led by Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel as well as the producers, writers and crew for giving us this delightful gem for the past seven years. We would also like to thank the critics and 'Gilmore' fans for their passionate support and promise to give this series the send off it deserves."

This F-ing sucks !!!!!!!!!!

I don't really know how I feel about this.
On one hand, a whole or half a season sounds like a bit too much. But at the same time, only 2 more episodes doesn't sound like enough time for a satisfying ending.
I find it annoying that they made the finale before knowing whether or not they were going to keep on going.

im depressed.... its not like i thought the last 2 seasons(6 and 7) were great or anything. but i cant be without the girls!!
how come there aren't so many people posting on this topic? anyone who is a gilmore fan should be posting!!!

Well I mean, they also said in the article that they would gilmore girls, "the send off they deserve," so there is still hope that Luke And Lorelai could pulll it together!
Plus Lauren Graham said she would NOT like the series to end with a wedding....
I have been watching this show since, literally, day one. I shall miss it SO MUCH!!!! I believe there are only two episodes left, tell me if I am wrong....

!!! not cool so not cool!
i mean yeh maybe 6 and 7 weren't the best ever but still! well actually i guess i could survive as long as the show ends with something big and happy. i want it to go out with a very happy bang. luke and lorali have to get back together, and rorey and logan have to be happy! (i didn't know if i liked him at frst but he grew on me) plus i don't want any lame cliff hangers where you don't know what gonna happen. thats terrible for the ending episod of tv shows.
i guess as long as the series is ended in a good way than it is a good thing. (sorry everyone, but i hate when shows or movie series keep going until people stop likeing them. until the stories are so washed up that we loose intrest. i think they should end with a feeling of completeness and wholeness but still with a feeling of wanting more)
