This was just an idea I had but I would really love to see it work. I am interested in reading the Bible but I was wondering if anyone would like to form a Bible Study group.
For example - someone assigns us to read from one verse to another by a certain date and then those of us who want to can come and discuss questions we may have over what we read or anything else.

That sounds like a nice idea, and I would do it, but I think most people would think it is too much trouble to do it all on the computer.

I'll find the verses smile <3 here. I'll assign the first one. I actually just read this in the bible and helped me with some things in my life. Although in these verses some of them should be a big hit in the face. a big DUH we should all know that. I call them the common sence verses. razz
Mathew...Chapters 5-8 ...you don't have to read ALL of it. Just skip around in that area a little bit if you feel like. It's all when jesus talks about how we should act in life. (like i said some common sense things like don't steal ect.)
no due date. just read when you feel like you need guidance or your just in the mood. if you force yourself to read it, it won't be as much fun smile

When we are ready to do the bible study, we should make a separate thread for it. Sorry I haven't shown too much interest, school has kept me busy, and I have scheduling issues. This is something that I would like to do weekly. We can have a lesson one day, then comment on it for the rest of the week before we do another lesson. That was my idea anyways.

well I started chapter 5 and then we started studying it in sunday school, lol. yes I still go to sunday school, we have one for adults while the children meet. I have not moved past the chapter tho, I am trying to memorize it and hopefully I will, someday. I have been working on verses 1-17. longest scripture I have memorized yet eek
I recited John 3:16 to myself today on account that I have not said or heard it in a while and as I said it I burst into tears just hearing the words. God's word is powerful.
